Method for controlling heating of hybrid vehicle
A method for controlling heating of a hybrid vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a duct flowing air into the indoor of the hybrid vehicle from the outside, a heater core for circulating the coolant heated from an engine inside the duct, a PTC heater heated by the power supplied from a high-voltage battery of the hybrid vehicle inside the duct, and a controller. The controller operates the engine and the PTC heater and heats the air flowing into the indoor of the hybrid vehicle through the duct. The voltage supplied to the PTC heater from a low voltage DC-DC converter (LDC) is changed based on the state of the engine and an auxiliary battery for supplying power to an electric component of the vehicle to apply power to the PTC heater.

Unified automotive thermal management network
In one embodiment, a method includes, by a computing system of a vehicle, determining a first temperature of a control unit of the vehicle, wherein the control unit and one or more components of the vehicle are interconnected through a thermal network, determining a thermal objective for the control unit based on the first temperature of the control unit, selecting, based on the thermal objective for the control unit, at least a first component from the one or more components, and sending one or more signals to one or more actuators within the thermal network to enable a heat-transfer fluid to flow between (1) a first portion of the thermal network thermally coupled to the control unit and (2) a second portion of the thermal network thermally coupled to the selected first component.
VEHICLE AIR-CONDITIONING CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle includes an engine, a generator driven by the engine to generate an electric power, and a high-voltage battery charged with the electric power. An air heating in a vehicle interior is implemented by waste heat of the engine through which a heat medium is circulated and heated, and an air heating in the vehicle interior is implemented by a heat pump device consuming the electric power of the electric storage device. A hybrid ECU performs air conditioning control, and includes a determination device that determines whether to implement the air heating by the waste heat or the air heating by the heat pump device based on an engine body temperature, and a heating control device that selectively implements the air heating by the waste heat and the air heating by the heat pump device based on a determination result of the determination device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING A VEHICLE FEATURE
A method for controlling a vehicle feature includes registering a GPS-based vehicle speed based on information from a vehicle GPS-receiver, and changing an operating setting of, or activating, the vehicle feature when the GPS-based vehicle speed is more than zero km/h, specifically more than 3 km/h, and more specifically more than 6 km/h, while the vehicle is parked.
Hybrid vehicle
A first heater heats a vehicle compartment by using cooling water of the internal combustion engine. A second heater heats the vehicle compartment by using electrical power supplied by the electrical storage device. The controller during driving of the internal combustion engine, when a temperature of the cooling water is equal to or higher than a reference temperature, controls the internal combustion engine to stop; when the second heater is operated during driving of the internal combustion engine, when a state quantity indicating a state of charge of the electrical storage device is equal to or higher than a threshold, controls the second heater such that an amount of heat generation of the second heater is higher than that generated when the state quantity is less than the threshold; and sets the reference temperature to be low as compared to when the state quantity is less than the threshold.
HYBRID INTERCOOLER SYSTEM INTEGRATED WITH AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides a hybrid intercooler system integrated with an air conditioning system and a method of controlling the same. In accordance with the present disclosure, it is possible to stabilize the temperature of intake air passing through the inlet of an intercooler using a water cooling unit and increase the cooling efficiency of the intercooler using an air cooling unit. Consequently, it is possible to improve engine power and fuel efficiency.
Thermal management system for electric vehicle
A thermal management system for an electric vehicle includes an interior air conditioning part including an air inflow part, an air discharge part, a cooling core, a heating core arranged between the cooling core and the air discharge part, and an adjustment door. The adjustment door is selectively adjustable to control whether air from the cooling core may flow into the heating core. A heat transfer line connects an electric part core to the heating core for transferring that heat of the electric part to the heating core, in order to allow heat dissipation of the electric part through the heating core.
