AIR FRESHENER WITH DEVICE HOLDER
The invention is a combined air freshener and portable device mount which diffuses aromatic fragrance compounds contained in the main cavity of the invention and at the same time engages a fastener mounted on a personal device. The fastener can be but is not limited to ferromagnetic, detent based, or hook and loop fasteners. An elastic member wraps around the main cavity wall at the proximal end and provides friction and cushion for the personal device when it is held by the fastener. Helical threading on the main body engages compatible helical threading on a support structure, allowing the invention to be mounted in a variety of locations in a vehicle interior.
DIFFUSER INCLUDING SCENTED POLYMERIC BODY
A diffuser includes a clip that attaches to a vent of a vehicle air conditioning system. The diffuser also includes a hollow scented body that emits a fragrance. The hollow scented body extends along a longitudinal axis and defines a cavity. The hollow scented body is mounted to the clip such that airflow from the vent is in a direction other than parallel to the longitudinal axis of the hollow scented body when the diffuser is attached to the vent.
VEHICLE INTERIOR COMPONENT
A component for a vehicle interior configured to dispense scent in a vehicle interior is disclosed. The component may comprise a scent-dispensing apparatus comprising a module configured for at least one scent-dispensing cartridge (removable/replaceable) containing scent media. An actuator may be configured to operate the module in a bypass mode or for selection/actuation of a cartridge. A selected cartridge may be actuated from a sealed state to prevent airflow through scent media to an unsealed state to allow airflow across/through scent media and into the vehicle interior. The actuator may comprise a mechanism (e.g. slider, cam mechanism); each cartridge may comprise a valve mechanism actuated by the actuator; each mechanism may comprise a spring. The module may comprise a fan to provide airflow. The component may provide a user interface. The component may comprise a console, overhead console, floor console, center console, etc.
Air freshener for vehicles
An air freshener for vehicles including a casing housing a receptacle containing volatile substances and at least one fixing element, which can be fixed to an interior vent grille of a vehicle. The casing and the at least one fixing element are made of cardboard, enabling the obtainment of an air freshener at low cost compared to conventional air fresheners, since it does not require investment in moulds.
DISPENSER FOR DISPENSING VOLATILE COMPOSITIONS
A volatile composition dispenser is configured to be used in a vehicle. The volatile composition dispenser comprises a housing and a fan positioned at least partially within the housing. The fan is configured to intermittently activate to move a volume of air. The volatile composition dispenser further comprises a controller in electrical communication with the fan and positioned within the housing, and a replaceable unit configured to be attached to the housing and positioned at least partially within the housing.

FRAGRANCE DEVICE FOR AUTOMOTIVE AIR DUCT
A fragrance device for an automotive air duct includes: a plurality of air deflection openings, a plurality of fragrance units, and a plurality of air deflectors. The air deflection openings are disposed on one side of the automotive air duct. Each of the fragrance units corresponds to one of the air deflection openings. The fragrance unit includes a fragrance shell and a fragrance piece. The fragrance piece is disposed in the fragrance shell, and each side of the fragrance shell communicates with the air deflection opening. The air deflector is located at the air deflection opening, and the air deflector is rotatably connected between the fragrance shell and the automotive air duct. The different fragrance units have the different fragrance pieces. The air deflection opening is matched with the air deflector, and the air deflector in a horizontal state is capable of sealing the air deflection opening.
Apparatus and method for air freshening
An apparatus for air freshening in an interior occupancy space. The apparatus has a reservoir containing a volatile composition for air freshening and/or malodor removal and a composite membrane in fluid communication with the volatile composition. The composite membrane has a first side facing the reservoir and a second side opposite the first side. At least one of the first side and the second side has a diffusion regulating coating, the diffusion regulating coating including a hydrophobic/oleophobic material having at least one fluoro-alkyl group. The volatile composition includes at least 20% of perfume raw materials by weight of the composition, the at least 20% of perfume raw materials having an average vapor pressure equal to or greater than 0.01 torr at 25 degrees Celsius. The apparatus has an average vapor release rate from 0.2 mg/hr*cm.sup.2 to 5 mg/hr*cm.sup.2 at an air flow rate of 5 m/s and a temperature of 21 degrees Celsius.
SCENT OUTPUT CONTROL DEVICE, SCENT OUTPUT CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
To realize a device and method that outputs scents according to an advertisement. A scent output control unit that executes scent output control and a scent output unit that executes a scent output under control of the scent output control unit are included, and the scent output control unit selects a scent to be output on the basis of an advertisement and outputs the selected scent via the scent output unit. The scent output control unit selects a scent to be output on the basis of an advertisement detected from an image captured by a vehicle exterior camera that captures the outside of the vehicle or an advertisement output to the information output terminal, and outputs the selected scent via the scent output unit. Furthermore, an occupant profile is analyzed on the basis of an image of an occupant, and a scent corresponding to the occupant is output.
Wick-based volatile substance diffuser
A wick-based diffuser is configured for diffusing a liquid volatile substance composition into an air flow path extending through the diffuser to disseminate the volatile substance composition throughout a surrounding volume (e.g., a vehicle interior). Diffusers may comprise a body defining a hollow interior and having an air flow path extending therethough; a reservoir; a wick extending from the reservoir and into the hollow interior of the body; and a closure mechanism configured to selectably isolate the wick and the reservoir from the air flow path extending through the body. Wick-based diffusers may be mounted to a support device via a low-friction mounting mechanism located above a center of gravity of the diffuser, such that the diffuser self-aligns in an upright orientation under the influence of gravity.
