Sunshade assembly and open roof construction provided therewith
A sunshade assembly for use in a vehicle roof assembly comprises a flexible sunscreen having at least a central part and two opposed inwardly folded longitudinal edges connected to the central part by means of folding lines. A winding shaft for winding and unwinding the flexible sunscreen is provided at the trailing edge and an operating beam at the leading edge of the sunscreen. Two opposed longitudinal guides retain therein and guide corresponding ones of the folded longitudinal edges of the sunscreen. The guides are provided with locking members for engaging an outer end of the inwardly folded longitudinal edges for preventing these edges from moving out of the longitudinal guides when the sunscreen is at least partly unwound. The sunscreen includes at least two members which are each arranged substantially parallel to a respective longitudinal edge and which are buckle-stiff in a direction parallel to said longitudinal edge.

Sealing strand, in particular for processing as an endless strand
A sealing strand, in particular for processing during continuous feeding and separation of use portions, including multiple strand parts each of which are connected to one other at abutting ends, and including a double-sided adhesive tape. A removable protective strip covers the tape adhesive surface facing away from the remaining sealing strand. The protective strip has a butt strap at each of the butt joints. The butt strap overlaps the abutting ends of the protective strip portions of the strand parts. Each connection between the butt strap and the overlapping abutting ends of the protective strip portions of the strand parts begins only at a distance from the butt joint. The connection of the butt strap to at least one of the two overlapped abutting ends begins in a region in the strand longitudinal direction of consecutive separating cuts in the abutting end.

PROFILE STRIP ARRANGEMENT
A profile strip arrangement includes a profile strip made of a profile material. The profile strip has a first connecting area configured to form a connection to an edge area of a windshield of a motor vehicle, and has a second connecting area configured to form a connection to a part that is adjacent to the windshield. The first connecting area has a lower connecting section which interacts with an inside of the edge area of the windshield and which has at least one free surface section that is free of the profile material. The at least one free surface section is formed by a surface of an additional element that is made of a material that differs from that of the profile strip.

Vehicle rear slider window assembly with upper rail co-extruded filler
A slider window assembly for a vehicle includes at least one fixed window panel and a movable window panel that is movable along an upper rail and a lower rail at the at least one fixed window panel between a closed position and an opened position. The upper rail includes a channel, and a filler is disposed in the channel of the upper rail. The filler includes a filler body having opposite side walls, and the filler includes lips established along respective ones of the side walls. The lips are extruded onto and along the filler body. The lips include a compressible and flexible material and provide a dampening and cushioning function at the movable window panel when the movable window panel is disposed in the channel of the upper rail.
