Visibility enhancements for delivery vehicle
A vehicle includes a chassis defining a longitudinal axis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a cargo body coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab, and a driver seat disposed within the cab. The cab has a first door with a first window and a second door with a second window. When the driver seat is in a position that accommodates an operator being in the 95.sup.th male height percentile, the operator within the driver seat can see out of (i) the first window at a first angle relative to a forward looking direction that is parallel with the longitudinal axis and (ii) the second window at a second angle relative to the forward looking direction. Each of the first angle and the second angle is at least 95 degrees.
VISIBILITY ENHANCEMENTS FOR DELIVERY VEHICLE
A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle body and a driver seat. The vehicle body defines a driver compartment having a first door with a first window and a second door with a second window. The driver seat is disposed within the driver compartment. When the driver seat is in a position that accommodates an operator being in a 95.sup.th male height percentile, the operator within the driver seat can see out of (i) the first window at a first angle relative to a forward looking direction that is parallel with a longitudinal axis of the vehicle body and (ii) the second window at a second angle relative to the forward looking direction. Each of the first angle and the second angle is at least 95 degrees.
METHOD FOR LOWERING A WINDOW PANE OF A VEHICLE DOOR, AND VEHICLE WHICH IS DESIGNED FOR CARRYING OUT THE METHOD
A vehicle and method for lowering a window pane of a door of a vehicle to make it easier for the vehicle occupant to enter and exit the vehicle. The door has a door unlocking apparatus and a drive device for lowering and raising the window pane. The vehicle has an unlocking sensor, which registers the operation or the imminent operation of the door unlocking apparatus and converts the operation or imminent operation into corresponding unlocking signals, and a control unit, which receives the unlocking signals and converts the signals into operating signals for triggering the drive device. The method checks whether the door unlocking apparatus is operated or operation is imminent and, if the door unlocking apparatus is operated or operation is imminent, triggers the drive device with the control unit to lower the window pane to a position which is easier for the vehicle occupant to enter and exit the vehicle.
VEHICLE SIDE PART STRUCTURE
A vehicle side part structure includes: a side door having a window frame; an outside door handle which is arranged above a lower end rim of the window frame and which is manipulated when the side door is being opened and closed from outside the vehicle; a release switch provided on a press surface of the outside door handle, which is a surface pressed by a user with a finger during an operation of opening the side door, the release switch outputting a release signal upon being manipulated; and a latch actuator which releases latching of the side door by a latch mechanism when the release signal is output.
High-performance sports car
A high-performance sports car having: a frame that supports a pair of front wheels and a pair of rear wheels; a passenger compartment that is formed on the inside of the frame and is arranged between the front wheels and the rear wheels; at least one door, which is hinged to the frame to allow access to the passenger compartment; at least one seat, which is arranged inside the passenger compartment to the side of the door; and a rigid protection panel which is integral with the door and, when the door is closed, is arranged alongside the seat in line with the head of the occupant of the seat.
Cargo shelf for delivery vehicle
A vehicle includes a chassis, a cargo body coupled to the chassis, a cargo support member, and a shelf assembly. The cargo support member is mounted to an outer wall of the cargo body and is disposed within the cargo body. The shelf assembly includes a tray and a strap. The tray is hingedly coupled to the cargo support member. The strap is coupled to the tray and the cargo support member. The strap is adjustable to reposition a forward end of the tray.
VEHICLE DOOR HANDLE STRUCTURE
The vehicle door handle structure includes a door handle disposed above a belt molding on a side door of a vehicle and pulled by a user when the user opens the side door from an outside of the vehicle, and a pocket space disposed behind the door handle to receive fingers of the user, and the door handle is inclined toward the front of the vehicle with respect to the ground contact surface of the vehicle such that an entrance of the pocket space faces diagonally rearward and diagonally upward of the vehicle.
Repositionable seat for delivery vehicle
A vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a cargo body coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab, a seating unit, and a mail tray. The cab includes a first floor portion defining a first interface at a first position within the cab. The cargo body includes a second floor portion defining a second interface at a second position within the cargo body. The seating unit includes a frame assembly that engages with the first interface and the second interface such that the seating unit is selectively repositionable between the first position and the second position. The mail tray is selectively positionable in the first position when the seating unit is in the second position.
DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY FOR DELIVERY VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a cargo body coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab, a door coupled to the cab and selectively repositionable relative to the chassis between an open position and a closed position, and a door lock assembly configured to selectively prevent movement of the door from the closed position to the open position. The door lock assembly defines a key aperture configured to receive a key. The door lock assembly is coupled to the cab, and wherein the key aperture is positioned forward of the door.
