At least one of the elongate threaded member and the nut is rotatable relative to the other to draw the window clamp plate and the main body toward one another to clamp against the edge of the window.

The upper seal member sealingly contacts the lower seal member when the upper vehicle door portion is mounted to the lower vehicle door portion. The lower seal member includes a projection structured to abut a portion of the lower vehicle door portion when the lower seal member is mounted to the lower vehicle door portion, so as to prevent a movement of the lower seal member and resulting misalignment between the upper and lower seal members during movement of the seal members into sealing contact with each other.

Vehicle door assembly

An outer door panel and an inner door panel are fixed to one another defining a cavity therebetween. A door handle assembly is fixedly attached to the outer door panel, with at least a portion of the door handle assembly overlaying an inboard surface of the outer door panel within the cavity. An inboard portion of the door handle assembly has a connection structure. An upwardly extending bracket within the cavity is fixed to an upper end and a lower end of at least one of the inner door panel or the outer door panel. The upwardly extending bracket is spaced apart from the door handle assembly. A vibration absorbing member has a first end fixed to the connection structure of the door handle assembly and a second end attached to the upwardly extending bracket at a location spaced apart from upper and lower ends of the upwardly extending bracket.
