DOOR MIRROR STRUCTURE
A door mirror structure comprises a door-mirror body portion, a mirror base having a tip-end portion fixed to the door-mirror body portion and a base-end portion provided away from the tip-end portion, a rotational support axis connected to the base-end portion and rotatably supporting the door-mirror body portion and the mirror base between a mirror-use position and a mirror-storage position, and an electromotive rotational unit provided to rotate the door-mirror body portion and the mirror base between the mirror-use position and the mirror-storage position around an axis line of the rotational support axis. The electromotive rotational unit is provided at a side door. The rotational support axis is provided to be inclined such that an upper side thereof is located on a vehicle forward side.
DOOR MIRROR STRUCTURE
A door mirror structure comprises a door-mirror body portion, a mirror base having a tip-end portion fixed to the door-mirror body portion, and a drive unit to rotate the door-mirror body portion and the mirror base between a mirror-use position and a mirror-storage position. The drive unit is provided at the side door. The housing of the door-mirror body portion has a shape such that the door-mirror body portion taking the mirror-use position is not positioned in an area between a first imaginary line which connects a middle point between both eyes of a driver and an inner-end portion, in a vehicle width direction, of a rear face of the door-mirror body portion and a second imaginary line which connects the above-described middle point and a front end portion of a door glass.
VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
A vehicle door assembly includes inner and outer door panels, first and second support brackets, a reinforcing panel, a window opening support panel and a side mirror assembly. The first support bracket is attached to the inner door panel. The reinforcing panel is attached to the first support bracket. The second support panel attached to the first support panel and the reinforcing panel. The window opening support panel is attached to the inner door panel, the second support panel and the reinforcing panel. The outer door panel is fixed to the inner door panel such that the inner door panel and the outer door panel define a door cavity therebetween. The side mirror assembly is installed along an exterior side of the outer door panel. The side mirror assembly includes fasteners that extend through the window opening support panel and the second support panel.
VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
A vehicle door assembly includes an outer door panel that is fixed to an outer periphery of an inner door panel such that the inner door panel and the outer door panel define a door cavity therebetween. A support bracket is attached to a forward area of the inner door panel within the door cavity. A reinforcing panel is attached to the support bracket within the door cavity. A window opening support panel is attached to the support bracket, the reinforcing panel and the inner door panel within the door cavity. A side view mirror is located along an exterior side of the outer door panel. The side view mirror includes at least one fastener that extends through the window opening support panel and the reinforcing panel thereby attaching the side view mirror thereto.
Door sash structure
A door sash structure according to an embodiment includes a sash, a mirror attachment member, and an outer reinforcement attachment member. The sash is configured to guide a front end edge of a door glass of a vehicle while the door glass moves upward or downward. The mirror attachment member is configured to allow a door mirror to be attached thereto, and is fixed to the sash. The outer reinforcement attachment member is configured to allow at least one of a door outer panel and an outer reinforcement extending along the door glass on a side adjacent to an outside of the vehicle of the door glass to be attached thereto, and is fixed to an outer surface of the mirror attachment member that faces the outside of the vehicle, and separated from the sash.
Vehicle side door
A vehicle side door includes: a door main body; a mirror stay fixed to the door main body so as to be at least partially placed outwardly from the door main body, the mirror stay including a support portion placed outwardly from the door main body; and a mirror unit including a mirror holder supported by the support portion, and a mirror supported by the mirror holder, wherein: the door main body includes an outer panel constituting an outer face of the door main body, an inner panel placed inwardly from the outer panel and fixed to the outer panel, and a reinforcing member fixed to the inner panel or the outer panel; and the mirror stay is fixed to the reinforcing member.
Vehicle door structure and method for manufacturing the same
A vehicle door structure includes a mirror retainer having a main body, which is joined to the front end of an outer reinforcement with a part of the main body overlapping with the outer reinforcement. The mirror retainer includes an upper leg, which has a first facing surface facing a lower leg and is joined to the inner panel. The lower leg has a second facing surface facing the upper leg and is joined to the inner panel. A reinforcing member is connected to the first facing surface and at least one of a main body inner surface and the second facing surface so as to reinforce the mirror retainer.
DOOR SASH STRUCTURE
A door sash structure according to an embodiment includes: a sash that is configured to guide a front end edge of a door glass of a vehicle for ascending and descending of the door glass, an inner reinforcement that extends along a front-rear direction of the vehicle at a more inner position of the vehicle than the door glass, and an attachment member that is fixed on a side adjacent to the inside of the vehicle of the sash, and includes a mirror attachment portion and an inner reinforcement attachment portion. The mirror attachment portion is configured to allow a door mirror to be attached thereto in front of the sash in the front-rear direction. The inner reinforcement attachment portion extends from the door mirror attachment portion and allows the inner reinforcement to be fixed thereto in the rear of the sash in the front-rear direction.
Vehicle door assembly
A vehicle door assembly includes an outer door panel that is fixed to an outer periphery of an inner door panel such that the inner door panel and the outer door panel define a door cavity therebetween.
