Shock absorber
Stability of shock absorbing property of a shock absorber provided on a back surface of a door trim is improved. A shock absorber is attached on the back surface of the door trim, and absorbs impact applied to the door. A quadrangular tube element of the shock absorber has an end plate on a tube tip surface, and faces the back surface of the door trim. The quadrangular tube element has an approximate U shape in which three side surfaces are closed by an upper plate, a lower plate, and a front plate, and the remaining one side surface is opened.
Vehicle having reinforcement patch
A vehicle includes a vehicle body and a reinforcing patch. The vehicle body component defines a cavity. The reinforcing patch is disposed within and attached to the vehicle body component. The reinforcing patch includes a substrate and a reinforcing body attached to the substrate. The reinforcing body has a first tab, a second tab, and a first slit between the first and second tabs. The slit is at least partially filled by the substrate.
REINFORCING STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE EXTERIOR PANEL
A reinforcing structure of an automobile exterior panel improving performance in absorbing an impact load, the reinforcing structure of an automobile exterior panel comprising an outer panel 110 of a sheet shape, a reinforcing member 120 arranged at a vehicle inner side from the outer panel 110, an inner panel 135 of a sheet shape arranged at a vehicle inner side from the reinforcing member 120, and a support member 140 provided at a vehicle outer side from the inner panel 135 and supporting the reinforcing member 120 from a vehicle inner side, the support member 140 comprised of tube-shaped member having axial centers directed from the vehicle inner side toward the vehicle outer side.
Door for vehicle
A vehicle door according to an exemplary embodiment enhances coupling strength through structural coupling by molding a window frame of a door module assembled between a door trim and the door panel with a separate aluminum injection product, and insert-injection molding a coupling portion of the window frame to a module body, and a groove is formed along the coupling portion of the window frame coupled to the module body to easily distinguish respective parts and serve to carry out sealing in injection molding.
REINFORCED VEHICLE DOOR AGAINST SIDE IMPACT
A vehicle door for use in a vehicle body comprising a rocker (20) is described. The vehicle door comprises an inner door panel (11) and an outer door panel (13), wherein the door further comprises a reinforcement element (12) arranged in a lower portion of the door such that when the door is mounted in the vehicle body, the reinforcement element (12) is at the height of the rocker (20) and such that when a side impact is received by the door the reinforcement element with the inner door panel is supported by the vehicle rocker. The reinforcement element (12) is a U-shaped bracket that extends from the inner door panel (11) to the outer door panel (13), the U-shaped bracket (12) being arranged with an open side facing the inner panel. The disclosure further relates to a vehicle having a vehicle body that comprises a rocker and such a door.
VEHICLE DOOR STRUCTURE
A vehicle door structure includes inner and outer door panels, a door handle assembly and an impact pad. The inner door panel has an access opening that extends from an inboard surface to an outboard surface. The door handle assembly has a base portion overlaying an inboard surface of the outer door panel within a door cavity and a lever portion extending along an outboard surface of the outer door panel. The impact pad has a block portion and a projecting portion that extends from the block portion. The block portion overlays and contacts a portion of the outboard surface of the inner door panel adjacent to the access opening. The block portion is in vertical alignment with a portion of the base portion of the door handle. The projecting portion spans a horizontally measured width of the access opening.
Vehicle door assembly
A vehicle door assembly includes an inner door panel that partially defines a cavity therein, a door handle assembly, a main reinforcing bracket, a first reinforcing bracket and a vibration absorbing member. The first reinforcing bracket has an upper end fixedly attached to the main reinforcing bracket and to a rearward area of the inner door panel within the cavity below the door handle assembly. The vibration absorbing member has an outboard surface, an inboard surface and a main projection that extends forward from the main body. The main projection is fixed to the first reinforcing bracket such that the main body is rearward of the first reinforcing bracket. The outboard surface is shaped and dimensioned to correspond to the overall shape of the inboard portion of the door handle assembly.
Door structure for vehicle
A door structure includes (i) a door panel including a first wall provided with a hinge member, a second wall, and a first bent part provided between the first wall and the second wall, (ii) a first reinforcing plate including a first part joined to the first wall, a second part joined to the second wall, and a corner part provided between the first part and the second part, and (iii) a second reinforcing plate including a third part joined to the first part, a fourth part joined to the second part, and an intermediate part provided between the third part and the fourth part. The first reinforcing plate and the second reinforcing plate are configured such that a closed space is provided between the first reinforcing plate and the second reinforcing plate.
Motor vehicle
A motor vehicle with at least one vehicle door includes a reinforcement component arranged in the lower section of the door body of the vehicle door. The reinforcement component is an open profile with lateral walls and an M-profile formed thereon which extend in the vehicle transverse direction in order to absorb forces acting in the vehicle transverse direction in the event of a load.
VEHICLE DOOR, VEHICLE, AND VEHICLE MANUFACTURING METHOD
Provided is a vehicle interior component capable of exhibiting an in-vehicle lighting function even without electricity supply from a vehicle body power source.
