OUTER PINCH SENSOR
An outer pinch sensor is an integral assembly for mounting on a double sliding door arrangement that covers an opening. The integral assembly includes a bracket, and a seal and sensor mounted to the bracket. The bracket is mounted to a leading edge of one of the doors, the leading edge leading the door when the door is moved in a closing direction. The bracket includes a flange for mounting to the door. When mounted to the door, the seal is arranged inboard of the sensor for sealing to an outer surface of the other door. The sensor is arranged furthest in the closing direction than the other components of the assembly so as to sense the presence of an object in the opening. A signal generated by the sensor may then be used to perform emergency operations for the door to prevent pinching of the object.
Suction-based door protection device
A removable vehicle exterior door guard device comprising an elongate panel and a plurality of vacuum seal suction cups. The panel can comprise a foam pad or other flexible polymer coupled to one or more suction cups configured to hold the panel to a vehicle surface. The device can comprise a foam pad having suction cups configured to provide a vacuum seal to a vehicle exterior door, for example using screw-tightening suction cup mechanism or a lever tightening suction cup mechanism. The vacuum seal suction cups are configured to maintain a strong seal against the vehicle surface over extended periods of time, even if the panel is bumped or the vehicle surface is not clean. The device can additionally include a theft deterrent system comprising a cord attached at a proximate end to the panel and at a distal end to an anchor that is secured inside the vehicle.
DOOR ARMREST STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE
A door armrest structure of a vehicle includes: an armrest pivot rotatably coupled to the door internal panel and extending in a direction parallel to the door internal panel; a trim cover including a first end portion connected to the armrest pivot and operating to be rotated around the armrest pivot according to rotation of the armrest pivot; an armrest including an end portion attached to the trim cover and operating to deploy and return according to operation of the trim cover; a drive motor operating to rotate the armrest pivot according to an opening signal or a closing signal of the door; and an antenna including first end portion connected to the drive motor and the other end portion passing through the armrest to be fixed to the trim cover, and moving back and forth to pivot the trim cover according to operation of the drive motor.
Pet Paw Slip Inhibiting Device
A pet paw slip inhibiting device inhibits slippage of a pet's paw adjacent to an open vehicle window. The device includes a pad. The pad is elongated and constructed of a flexible material. A back surface of the pad is positions in abutment with a surface of a vehicle adjacent to a window. A front surface of the pad is compressed by a paw of a pet forming a depression conforming to and receiving the paw to inhibit slipping on the front surface. An attachment is coupled to the pad for engagement to the surface of the vehicle in a fixed position relative to the window.
Storage bin for vehicle door
This disclosure relates to storage bin for a door of a motor vehicle. In an example, a door, which provides a boundary between a passenger compartment of the motor vehicle and an exterior of the motor vehicle, includes a storage bin configured such that an item in the storage bin is accessible both from the passenger compartment and from the exterior.
Vehicle door assembly having a ramp
A vehicle door assembly includes, among other things, a ramp pivotable back-and-forth between a stowed position and a deployed position. The vehicle door assembly further includes a door slidable back-and-forth between a closed position and an open position. The door and the ramp are configured to slide together when the ramp is in the stowed position. The door is configured to slide relative to the ramp when the ramp is in the deployed position.
PINCH SENSOR ASSEMBLY, VEHICLE DOOR HAVING SAME AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Some embodiments are directed to a vehicle door that includes a door frame and a trim panel connected to the door frame. The vehicle door can also include an upper garnish connected to the door frame and including a connection portion. A bracket can be disposed along an edge of the trim panel and extend along a length of the door frame. The bracket can snap fit into the connection portion of the upper garnish, and a pinch sensor can be disposed on the bracket.
Armrest assembly for vehicle and door assembly having slidable armrest for vehicle
A door assembly includes a door panel including a metallic plate material, a lower trim attached to the door panel, and an armrest installed on top of the lower trim and configured to be slidable in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle. The door assembly further includes a base fixedly installed on the top of the lower trim, a slider positioned on top of the base, wherein the armrest is coupled to a top of the slider, and a guide fixedly installed on the base and configured to penetrate the slider.
Structure for shielding rail exposed to outside of sliding door vehicle
A structure for shielding a rail exposed to an outside of a sliding door vehicle includes a rail configured to be mounted in a vehicle, a drive unit movably connected to the rail, and a cover unit having one side connected to the drive unit and configured to be foldable and unfoldable. The cover unit is configured to move to open or close a space in which the rail is positioned.
