Bias regulated rolling truck bed cover
A tonneau system that includes one or more tonneau sections and a retraction system. The retraction system has an adjuster shaft; a bias member; a drive roller in communication with the adjuster shaft; one or more lines connected to the one or more tonneau sections and/or to the drive roller; and an adjuster to adjust torque provided by the bias member. The bias member is connected to the adjuster shaft, the drive roller, or both.
STORAGE UNIT HAVING ADJUSTABLE VOLUME
A rigid extendable storage unit comprises a front wall and a back wall positioned adjacent to the front wall in a folded state and configured to be deployed opposite the front wall, wherein the back wall has an opening configured to be covered. Side walls that are made of at least one section are provided and positioned adjacent to the front wall in a folded state and extended between the front wall and the back wall in a deployed state. A roof is positioned adjacent to the front wall in a folded state and extended to enclose a volume formed between the front wall, the back wall, and the side walls. In the folded state, the extendable storage unit occupies minimal area of the surface or the platform it is mounted on, and transforming the storage unit from folded state to deployed state and vice versa can be handled manually or automatically.

The present application relates to an automotive cargo or a tray area cover assembly. The cover assembly includes a cover for covering a cargo or a tray area of an automobile. One or more rib supports are provided for moving over the cargo or the tray area and supporting the cover.
Deployment system for rolling tarp systems
A rolling tarp deployment system includes a trailer, a bulkhead fixed to the trailer, first and second bows movable along the trailer, first and second tensioning assemblies, and a cover. The first tensioning assembly has a first member secured to the first bow, a second member secured to the bulkhead, and a first actuator configured to engage the first and second members to restrain the first bow to the bulkhead. The second tensioning assembly has a third member secured to the second bow, a fourth member fixed to the trailer, and a second actuator configured to engage the third and fourth members and move the second bow away from the bulkhead. The cover is tensioned when both the first and second members and the third and fourth members are engaged.
Container tarping assembly and method
A container tarping assembly comprises a frame structure. A left spreader assembly and a right spreader assembly adapted to carry a tarp are also provided. The left spreader assembly includes first and second left travelers. The right spreader assembly includes first and second right travelers. The travelers are each movable in reciprocating fashion along a predetermined path between a first limit and a second limit. A plurality of drive mechanisms are respectively associated with the travelers to move the traveler in the reciprocating fashion, each of the drive mechanisms having a bidirectional motor.
Modified retractable tonneau cover
Disclosed are embodiments of a retractable tonneau cover for a vehicle that has been modified in order to generally minimize the size of a housing of the tonneau cover, providing more vehicle cargo space for a user. The modified retractable tonneau cover can be automatically closed through an electronic system.

A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a body assembly coupled to the chassis, an electric energy system, and a door system. The body assembly defines a refuse compartment. The body assembly has a cover that at least partially encloses the refuse compartment such that an opening is defined in the body assembly to provide access to the refuse compartment. The door system is coupled to the cover. The door system includes a panel and an electric actuator powered by the electric energy system. The electric actuator is configured to selectively reposition the panel between a first position where the panel extends across the opening and a second position where the panel does not extend across the opening.
Truck box cover device extended and retracted in transmission manner
A truck box cover device extended and retracted in a transmission manner includes a clutch type driving gearbox, a roller shutter shaft and roller shutter cover rail support frames. The clutch type driving gearbox is connected with the roller shutter shaft. The roller shutter shaft is stripped winding shaft and comprises a transmission end and a roller shutter cover mounting shaft. One end of the transmission end is connected with the clutch type driving gearbox and is driven by the clutch type driving gearbox to correspondingly rotate, and the other end is connected to the roller shutter cover mounting shaft. One end, away from the transmission end, of the roller shutter cover mounting shaft is fixed to the interior of a driven bearing.

The drive (70) causes at least one at least tension-resistant tension element (71) to perform a movement and which can be coupled to a distal carriage (32′) of the top frame (16), moving the distal carriage (32′) back and/or forth based on the drive's actuation direction. The drive (70) comprises a driven first rotating body (73) and a second rotating body (74), arranged adjacent to one another, forming a drive device (75) The tension-resistant tension element (71) is wound several times around the drive device (75).
Multiple position vehicle cover
A cover for a vehicle having a first compartment and a second compartment includes a first section, a second section and an intermediate section. The first section includes at least one connector and is adapted to overlie the first compartment. The second section includes at least one connector and the intermediate section is located between the first section and the second section. In a first position the cover defines a first effective surface area, and the first section is in a first position, the second section is in a first position, and the intermediate section is not parallel to the first section and second section. In a second position, the cover defines a second effective surface area that is less than the first effective surface area, and either or both of the first section and the second section is in a second position.
