A hydrogen tank storage case that stores a hydrogen tank and that is loaded on a moving object includes: a housing having a box shape and having a side wall, a bottom, and a lid. The bottom and the lid have a communication portion configured to allow communication between the inside and outside of the housing. A flow resistance of the lid is lower than a flow resistance of the bottom.

High-pressure container unit

A high-pressure container unit includes: a box-shaped case mounted on a vehicle and configured to include a bottom portion, a ceiling portion, and a peripheral wall portion; a plurality of container main bodies arranged in an interior of the case and each having a cylindrical body portion; and a reinforcing member extending along an axial direction of the container main body, the reinforcing member being provided in at least one of a space surrounded by the container main bodies adjacent to each other and the bottom portion and, a space surrounded by the container main bodies adjacent to each other and the ceiling portion.

CONTAINER HOLDING MECHANISM FOR FUEL CELL VEHICLE
20220041053 · 2022-02-10 · ·

A container holding mechanism is applied to a fuel cell vehicle including a driving mechanism capable of driving rear wheels and disposed on a side of the rear wheels. The container holding mechanism includes a first hydrogen gas, a second hydrogen gas, a third hydrogen gas container, and a moving unit. The first hydrogen gas container is disposed behind a rear drive shaft. The second hydrogen gas container is disposed in front of the rear drive shaft. The third hydrogen gas container disposed in parallel with the second hydrogen gas container in front of the rear drive shaft. The moving unit is configured to move the driving mechanism pushed out by the first hydrogen gas container in collision in such a manner that the driving mechanism avoids the second hydrogen gas container and the third hydrogen gas container.

FUEL STORAGE DEVICE

To suppress the influence of gas on other fuel tanks when the gas is discharged from a fuel tank. A fuel storage device includes: a plurality of fuel tanks, each having a fusible plug valve; a support member that supports the plurality of fuel tanks, while making longitudinal directions of the respective fuel tanks parallel to each other; and a blocking member that blocks at least part of the fuel gas discharged from the fusible plug valves. The plurality of fuel tanks includes a tank group including the plurality of fuel tanks aligned along a first direction and a juxtaposed tank thereto. The blocking member is disposed between the tank group and the juxtaposed tank. The orientations of openings of the fusible plug valves included in blocked tanks are directed toward the blocking member, the blocked tanks being two or more fuel tanks that are continuous in the first direction, among the fuel tanks included in the tank group.

INTEGRATED FUEL STORAGE SYSTEM

A pressure vessel mounting system for mounting a pressure vessel to a vehicle chassis is disclosed. In various embodiments, the system includes a first end frame; a second end frame spaced a distance from the first end frame, the distance being sufficient to receive a pressure vessel between the first end frame and the second end frame; a first side frame extending between the first end frame and the second end frame, the first side frame configured for coupling to a first chassis rail of the vehicle chassis via at least one of the first end frame and the second end frame; and a second side frame extending between the first end frame and the second end frame. Via use of the pressure vessel mounting system, impact damage to pressure vessels may be reduced and/or eliminated.

Adjustable bracket for attaching a tank to the underside of a vehicle or trailer
10981446 · 2021-04-20 ·

This invention provides an adjustable bracket that can be used to attach auxiliary fuel tanks and other tanks to the bottom of a trailer or vehicle. The adjustable nature of the bracket allows it to be used on a variety of trailers, with different widths. The adjustable bracket comprises two parts with one sliding inside of the other. Each part has several slots that can be lined to create a bracket that is the ideal length to span the distance between the side panels of a trailer or vehicle. The bracket has holes in the bottom through which the bracket can be attached to a mounting retainer or strap that holds the tank in place.
