Fuel pump module
A fuel pump module which may be easily assembled and mounted in a flat bombe having a small height in an LPG vehicle, may have a structure in which a reservoir cup may be rotated and restored with respect to a plate by support bars and springs, so that the fuel pump module may be easily assembled and mounted even in a flat bombe having a small height. Furthermore, members for blocking noise and absorbing vibration are combined with a fuel pump, so noise and vibration may be reduced when the pump is operated.
Tank system
A tank system for a construction machine includes a fuel tank having an outer tank wall that closes off a tank volume to the outside, a withdrawal tank volume, which is separated by a partition wall from a main tank volume of the tank volume and has a fuel-exchanging connection to the main tank volume, and a fuel withdrawal arrangement having a main fuel pump and a withdrawal line opening into the withdrawal tank volume for conveying fuel by the main fuel pump via the withdrawal line from the withdrawal tank volume to a fuel-consuming system region. The tank system also includes a fuel feed arrangement having an auxiliary fuel pump for conveying fuel from the main tank volume into the withdrawal tank volume.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CONTROLLING ENGINE INLET PRESSURE VIA A FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM OF A TRANSPORT CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM
A fuel delivery system for controlling an inlet pressure of a prime mover in a transport climate control system is provided. The fuel delivery system includes a fuel tank, a pressure regulator, a pump disposed downstream of the fuel tank, a first filter disposed downstream of the pump, and the prime mover disposed downstream of the first filter. The prime mover is located above the fuel tank in a vertical direction. The pump is configured to provide a first fuel flow through the first filter. The prime mover is configured to accept a first portion of the first fuel flow and is configured to provide a return fuel flow. The pressure regulator is disposed downstream of the first filter. The pressure regulator is configured to accept a second portion of the first fuel flow, and to accept a pressure of the return fuel flow as a reference pressure.
Fuel tank units
A fuel tank unit includes a lid member configured to close an opening formed on a fuel tank. The fuel tank also includes an upper unit attached to the lid member and including a combination valve device configured to be introduced into the fuel tank via the opening formed on the fuel tank and configured to function as an evaporated fuel control valve and a full limit valve. The lid member includes a cylindrical protective case configured to protect the combination valve device of the upper unit when the combination valve device is introduced into the fuel tank via the opening. The protective case is configured to entirely enclose an outer circumferential surface of the combination valve device with a space therebetween.
MULTI-RECEPTACLE FUEL FILLING AND STORAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
The present disclosure generally relates to a multiple receptacle fuel filling and storage system in a vehicle and/or powertrain, and a method of using the same.
Fuel supply device
A fuel supply device includes: a sub-tank to be fixed on a bottom of a fuel tank, the sub-tank temporarily storing fuel in the fuel tank, an upper side of the sub-tank having an opening; a bracket attached to an opening side of the sub-tank; an electric pump that pumps up the fuel in the sub-tank and supplies the fuel to outside of the sub-tank; and multiple fitting portions arranged on an outer edge of the bracket and to fix the bracket to the sub-tank by being fitted to a plurality of receiving portions arranged on the opening of the sub-tank.
Evaporative emissions fuel tank venting system with pressure relief
A vent shut-off assembly configured to manage venting on a fuel tank configured to deliver fuel to an internal combustion engine includes a first liquid vapor discriminator (LVD), a main housing, a first poppet valve assembly, a pump and an actuator assembly. The first LVD is disposed in the fuel tank. The main housing selectively vents to a carbon canister. The first poppet valve assembly has a first poppet valve arranged in the main housing. The pump selectively pumps liquid fuel from the main housing. The actuator assembly is at least partially housed in the main housing and includes a cam assembly having a cam shaft that includes a first cam and a second cam. The first cam has a profile that one of opens and closes the first poppet valve fluidly coupled to the first LVD.
Fuel tank and pump system
An in-tank fuel pump assembly and mounting system is disclosed which may be configured for mounting inside a fuel tank. The assembly includes a pump housing, pump mounted to the housing, and pressure relief valve. The housing may comprise upper and lower pump housing units coupled together. The upper housing unit is configured for mounting to a tank opening, which in one implementation may be the fuel fill opening. The lower housing unit extends into the tank to approximately the bottom of the tank. A fuel fill fluid pathway is created through the housing for adding fuel to the tank while the pump assembly remains in situ. The upper housing unit may include a removable fuel cap. The pump housing may include an integral vapor trap.
Fuel pump cover
A motor vehicle fuel pump cover system. The system protects a connection between a fuel line and a fuel pump. The cover includes a cover for a fuel pump. Both parts of the cover define a raised wall around the connection. The cover also includes a second cover. The second cover is hinged to the first cover and forms a dome to cover the connection. The dome has an interior peripheral surface that covers the raised wall to thereby form a chamber protected against foreign matter infiltration. In another aspect, the disclosure relates to a motor vehicle fuel pump having an exterior fuel connection protected by the cover system against damage caused by foreign matter.
Apparatus for purging fuel evaporation gas in fuel system
An apparatus is provided for purging fuel evaporation gas in a fuel system. The apparatus increases an amount of fuel evaporation gas that is desorbed from a canister during driving of an engine, and thus prevents fuel evaporation gas adsorbed to the canister from being discharged to the atmosphere.
