VALVE DEVICE
There is provided a valve device, including: a housing; a float valve; and a seal member. An opening portion includes a first region, and a second region. The seal member includes a first cover portion, and a second cover portion. The second cover portion includes a support portion, a wide portion, and a narrow portion. In a state where the seal member is retained and supported by the support portion with respect to the float valve, a width of the wide portion is set such that a tip end of the second region is covered, and that the second region of the opening portion is not exposed out of the seal member even in a state where the seal member is maximally displaced in a radial direction and/or a peripheral direction of the housing with respect to the opening portion.
VESSEL OVERFILL PROTECTION SYSTEM
The present invention relates broadly and separately to a flow control valve and a float control valve assembly for use in the refilling of storage vessels, particularly fuel tanks. The invention also relates generally to a vessel overfill protection system. The flow control valve comprises a valve body defining a fluid passageway disposed between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet and a piston assembly located at least in part within the fluid passageway. The piston assembly includes a piston support to which a piston is slidably mounted for opening and closure of the fluid outlet. The piston support includes at least one fluid sampling passage arranged to provide pressurised fluid from the fluid inlet to an upstream surface of the piston which is urged for opening of the fluid outlet to permit flow of fluid through the fluid passageway. The float control valve assembly includes a float assembly body adapted to mount within a vessel to be filled with fluid via the flow control valve. The float control valve includes a pilot valve and a pilot control passage in fluid communication with the flow control valve. The pilot valve is operatively coupled to a float member for closure of the pilot control passage on flooding of the float housing to promote closure of the flow control valve.
Mounting structure for fuel shutoff valve unit
A mounting structure for a fuel shutoff valve unit (U) includes a valve device (50) which is provided in a fuel tank (31) of a saddle type vehicle (1) and in which a breather passage (Y) which discharges volatile fuel to the outside is formed and a valve (51) which prevents leakage of liquid fuel is provided, wherein, in the saddle type vehicle including a filler tube (F) which is provided inside the fuel tank (31) and supplies fuel supplied from the outside to the inside of the fuel tank (31), a support member (B) which is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the filler tube (F) and supports the fuel shutoff valve unit (U) inside the fuel tank (31) is provided.
SHUT-OFF VALVE
The invention provides a shut-off valve (10) for a hydrocarbon liquid or fuel intake. The valve includes a first float body (14) configured to float at the surface of hydrocarbon fuel (15), a fuel intake (16) located on the first float (14) and positioned such that the intake (16) is below the surface of the fuel (15), in use, and a second float body (18) configured to float on water (20) and sink in hydrocarbon fuel (15) such that the body (18) floats at an interface of hydrocarbon fuel (15) and water (20) phases, in use. A closing means (24) is located on the second float (18) for closing or restricting the fuel intake (16) when the first float (14) and second float (18) are in contact or in close proximity and further includes a guide arrangement (26) for guiding the first and second float (14, 18) towards each other as the surface of the hydrocarbon fuel (15) approaches the fuel water interface.
VAPORIZED FUEL PROCESSING APPARATUS
A vaporized fuel processing apparatus in which, if an internal pressure of a fuel tank is high when refueling, a closing valve opens before a refueling cap opens, so that vaporized fuel is flown to a canister via a path with a float valve to lower the internal pressure of the tank. The apparatus includes a refueling switch for instructing a start of refueling to the fuel tank, an internal pressure sensor for detecting a space pressure inside the tank, and a closing valve control means for, if the refueling start signal is output from the refueling switch and the internal pressure of the fuel tank is higher than a set pressure, opening the closing valve within a range in which the float valve does not operate, and increasing the valve-opening speed of the closing valve in accordance with a reduction in the internal pressure of the fuel tank.
Balanced poppet float vent valve
A vent valve may include, among other things, a valve body having an inlet opening and an outlet opening forming a flow path. The inlet opening may be oriented in a first direction and the outlet opening may be oriented in a second direction. A poppet member may be provided on or about the valve body and can be configured for movement between an opened position and a closed position relative to the inlet opening. The poppet member may be movable along the valve body in a direction that is perpendicular to the first direction of the inlet opening. A float member may be attached or operatively connected to the poppet member, the float member configured to move the poppet member between the first and second positions.
VALVE CASE MOUNTING STRUCTURE
A valve case mounting structure includes a mount base and a valve case. The mount base includes a valve case support portion and a retainer piece having a first engagement opening and a second engagement opening. The valve case includes an engaging projection portion, and a holder portion. When the engaging projection portion is positioned at a front end side of the first engagement opening, the retainer piece does not reach the holder portion. When the engaging projection portion is moved from the front end side of the first engagement opening toward the second engagement opening, a front end portion of the retainer piece is inserted into the holding space before becoming unable to be inserted into the holder portion.
NOISE ATTENUATED FILL LIMIT VENT VALVE
Systems are provided for a noise attenuation device for a valve. In one example, a system may include a single noise attenuation device located below a base of a fill limit vent valve.
ACTIVE DRAIN LIQUID TRAP FOR FUEL SYSTEM
An active drain liquid trap configured for use with a fuel tank system and constructed in accordance to one example of the present disclosure includes a trap body, a float and a pilot. The trap body defines a first inlet, a second inlet and an outlet. The first inlet is fluidly connected to a fuel pump. The second inlet is fluidly connected to a vapor line. The float is rotatably mounted about a float pivot. The pilot moves between an open and closed position. Rotation of the float causes the pilot to be urged into an open position and fluid to be drained from the trap body through the outlet.
