REFUELING PORT
The disclosure provides a refueling port capable of simplifying a structure for restricting rotation of a nozzle guide with respect to a refueling port body. One of the refueling port body and the nozzle guide includes guide ribs formed between an inner peripheral surface of a body cylinder portion and an outer peripheral surface of a guide cylinder portion to sandwich a reflux port in the circumferential direction, and guiding fuel vapor flowing in from the reflux port in a direction toward a filler pipe connection port. The other one of the refueling port body and the nozzle guide includes a locking portion formed between the inner peripheral surface of the body cylinder portion and the outer peripheral surface of the guide cylinder portion, and locked in both directions in the circumferential direction to the guide ribs to restrict relative rotation between the refueling port body and the nozzle guide.
Fuel tank comprising a connector piece
A fuel tank that includes a fuel container, a filler pipe, a connecting piece member, and an annular locking element. The connecting piece member is configured to connect the filler pipe to the fuel container, and is a substantially cylindrical sheet metal shaped cross-section having a first connecting end for fastening to a first component to be connected, and a second connecting end for receipt in a second component to be connected. The second connecting end has a first portion with a first groove shaped therein. The annular locking element extends at least partially through openings of the second component to be connected at a connection point into an interior of the second component to be connected, and at the connection point, axially secures the second component to be connected relative to the connecting piece member by a positive connection on the first groove.
FILLER HEAD ALLOWING A RELIABLE REFILLING WITHOUT SPITTING
A filler head for a storage system includes a body to be mounted inclined according to a predetermined angle regarding the gravity direction, called the filling direction, and including a main part closed by a cover part so as to form a cavity in which a separating device is received, the filler head being configured to receive, in a cylindrical wall of the separating device extending around the filling direction, a distribution nozzle of a fluid with an automatic stop sensor to prevent overfilling of the filler head, the separating device being arranged to improve the partitioning of a flow coming from a venting line and the flow going to the filling line. The separating device further includes a flange, protruding transversally from the outside surface of the cylindrical wall and mounted in the cavity upstream of the sensor of the nozzle when received in the cylindrical wall.
FILLER HEAD AVOIDING A PREMATURE NOZZLE SHUT OFF
A filler head for a storage system includes a body to be mounted inclined having a main part closed by a cover part forming a cavity in which a separating device is received. The filler head is configured to receive, in a cylindrical wall of the separating device, a distribution nozzle of a fluid with an automatic stop sensor to prevent overfilling of the filler head. The filler head includes a buffer volume in one-piece with the main part in a back portion of the body reducing the speed of flow coming from the venting line, and the cylindrical wall includes a recess facing the opening of the buffer volume in the back portion of the body.
Air filter device
An air filter device includes an air filter and a filter case having a filter housing for housing the air filter. The filter case has a pipe part enclosing an outer circumference of a second end of a filler pipe. The second end of the filler pipe defines a fuel filler opening and is opposite to a first end of the filler pipe connected to a fuel tank of a vehicle. A distance between the pipe part and the fuel filler opening is less than a distance between the filter housing and the fuel filler opening. The pipe part is configured to be inserted into a fixed member fixed to a vehicle body. The pipe part has a flange that extends radially outward from the pipe part and is spaced apart from the filter housing in an axial direction.
Tank made of resin
A tank made of resin provided with a barrier layer, which prevents the barrier layer from rolling up and has improved durability. In a tank made of resin that includes a barrier layer provided on an inner surface of a tank body made of resin, an opening part is provided in the barrier layer, a thick part projecting toward an inside or an outside of the tank body is provided in a resin layer at an outer peripheral part of the opening part, and the barrier layer and a casting flange part at a base of an oil filling port tubular part are molded with the resin of the tank body in a state in which the casting flange part is located at the thick part.
Fuel device
A fuel device FS includes a discriminating portion 50, an operation member, an abutting member 57 and an open/close member 70. The discriminating portion 50 includes an discrimination opening GL formed of a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is an opening corresponding to an external diameter of a small-diameter nozzle FNS. The second portion is an opening having a shape corresponding to an external diameter of a large-diameter nozzle FNL compatible with the fuel device. The operation member 51 of the discriminating portion 50 guides the small-diameter nozzle intended to insert into the second portion to be inserted into the first portion. The abutting member 57 prevents a tip of the small-diameter nozzle from passing the first portion. The open/close member 70 is caused to enter an open state by the large-diameter nozzle passing through the second portion of the discrimination opening GL.
Fuel tank device
A fuel tank device for a vehicle that includes a plastic fuel tank having a conductive outer layer, a plastic filler pipe for filling the fuel tank, at least one metallic component, and an electrical connector to connect the metallic component to the conductive outer layer of the filler pipe. The metallic component is grounded via the electrical connector and the conductive outer layer of the filler pipe.
SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING SHUT-OFF OF A FUEL PUMP NOZZLE IN FILLING A FUEL TANK
A system for controlling shut-off of a fuel pump nozzle in a fuel tank includes: a fuel evaporation gas blocking unit configured to separate an outer space of a fuel injection part of the fuel pump nozzle inserted inside the filler pipe into a first space into which external air is introduced and a second space into which fuel evaporation gas that is discharged from the fuel tank is introduced and to block the evaporation gas from being introduced into the first space; an external air suction jet pump mounted in the fuel tank and configured to suck external air thereinto and discharge the external air into the fuel tank, by receiving a portion of fuel transmitted from the fuel pump in the fuel tank as a working fluid; and a jet pump connection hose configured to connect the first space and the external air suction jet pump.
