20180001765 · 2018-01-04 ·

A device for remotely changing the control of power generated by an internal combustion engine of a recreational vehicle driven by a driver controlling an accelerator pedal. The device includes a remote control, sending a signal for modulating the power and/or speed of the engine. The device comprises a system for measuring the position of the accelerator pedal, a system for receiving the signal for modulating the power and/or speed, a system for controlling the intake of gases into the engine, and an electronics module connected to the various systems, establishing rules for controlling the intake control system, depending on the position of the accelerator pedal and the received modulation signal.

Traveling vehicle and working vehicle

A tractor includes a controller configured to make a determination as to whether stopping control is necessary and to start the stopping control, based on a relation between a target bale size and a current bale size and a stopping distance corresponding to a vehicle speed and a surrounding environment.

Systems and methods are disclosed for determining, and displaying, the regulatory compliance status of a motorized vehicle, a driver of a motorized vehicle, or a non-vehicle machine. An authorized agent, such as a law enforcement officer, can perform a remotely-initiated safe stop of a motorized vehicle to prevent a high-speed chase. A system management center can receive, store, and transmit regulatory compliance records indicating the regulatory compliance status of drivers, motorized vehicles, and non-vehicle machines. A motorized vehicle can detect, and report, a driver “tail-gating” the motorized vehicle. The regulatory compliance history of drivers, motorized vehicles, and non-vehicle machines can be queried by authorized users.

Using ISA system to implement a speed policy identified based on profile of a driving instance

An automated method of controlling a speed of a vehicle includes identifying parameters of a driving instance of the vehicle; identifying a predetermined profile that is applicable to the driving instance based on the identified parameters; identifying a predetermined speed policy applicable to the driving instance based on the identified profile; and implementing the identified speed policy during the driving instance. The method may be repeated during the driving instance, whereby the speed policy that is implemented is automatically updated when one or more changes in the identified parameters cause a different predetermined speed policy to be identified. Parameter may include driver parameters (e.g., driver age and driver experience); vehicle parameters (e.g., vehicle age, mileage, and tire wear) tire maintenance information); behavior parameters (e.g., speed, acceleration, hard braking of the vehicle, following distance, swerving, and cornering); and circumstance parameters (e.g., time of day, road information, inclement weather, and traffic congestion).

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PERSONALIZED CAR FOLLOWING WITH TRANSFORMERS

A method comprises determining a vectorized representation of positions of road agents and road geometry based on sensor data from a vehicle, inputting the vectorized representation of the positions of the road agents and the road geometry into a trained transformer network, predicting one or more road agent trajectories at one or more future time steps based on an output of the transformer network, predicting an acceleration of the vehicle at the one or more future time steps based on the predicted one or more road agent trajectories at the one or more future time steps, and causing the vehicle to perform the predicted acceleration at the one or more future time steps.

A vehicle speed control method, an apparatus, a device and a storage medium applied to a vehicle. The method includes: receiving (S210) a speed limit command sent by a speed control device, where the speed limit command includes a speed limit, and the speed limit command is generated by the speed control device when it is determined a position of the vehicle is in an area where an accident occurrence rate is greater than or equal to a preset threshold; reducing (S220) a travelling speed of the vehicle to less than the speed limit in response to the speed limit command. According to the vehicle speed control method, vehicle speed can be controlled according to actual safety situation on a road, thereby improving safety of vehicle travelling.

Driver Assistance System for a Motor Vehicle

A driver assistance system for automated longitudinal guidance of a motor vehicle includes a sensor system configured to identify an upcoming traffic scene, including locating road users situated ahead of the motor vehicle; and a control unit. The control unit is configured to carry out an automated longitudinal guidance of the motor vehicle depending on the upcoming traffic scene such that, in response to detecting that the upcoming traffic scene is a following-travel standstill situation, the motor vehicle is braked to a standstill at a target stopping distance from a road user situated ahead and identified as a target object. The control unit is also configured to detect a manual request to reduce the predefined target stopping distance. The control unit is further configured to reduce the target stopping distance to a reduced target stopping distance on the basis of the request.

VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED DRIVING OF A SPECIFIC LANE FOR CONTINUOUS SUPPLY WITH ELECTRICAL ENERGY

A vehicle control facility for the automated control of an electrical road vehicle for a route system with an energy-supply system that includes a lane-bound energy supply line, in particular an overhead line system. A position-determining unit determines a geographical position of the electrical road vehicle. A specific-lane-determining unit determines position data for a specific lane assigned to the lane-bound energy supply line. A communication interface transmits current relative positions of infrastructure features with respect to the electrical road vehicle to an external central specific-lane-determining facility and receives position data. A vehicle-control unit controls the electrical road vehicle with respect to the determined specific lane in dependence on the determined relative position of the specific lane.
