Axle including a drive system for an electric vehicle
A drive system for an electric vehicle includes a housing having a first housing portion, a second housing portion connected to the first housing portion, and a third housing portion connected to the second housing portion. The third housing portion includes a torque arm connectable to a vehicle chassis. A hypoid gear set is mounted in the first housing portion, and an electric motor is mounted in the third housing portion.
System and method for gas turbine engine mount with seal
A seal for a wall of a vehicle includes a first plate that defines a first slot, and the first plate is to be coupled to the wall. The seal includes a second plate that defines a guide that extends outwardly from the second plate. The second plate is positioned adjacent to the first plate such that the guide is in communication with the first slot. The seal includes a third plate that defines a second slot that receives the guide, and the third plate is positioned adjacent to the second plate and is to be coupled to the wall.
HYDRAULICALLY DAMPING ASSEMBLY BEARING
A hydraulically damping assembly bearing has two fluid-filled chambers which lie axially opposite each other and are hydraulically connected by a channel. A first chamber forms a working chamber enclosed by a bearing spring body and a second chamber forms a compensating chamber enclosed by a bellows. The compensating chamber has an axially extending inner wall encircling an interior. The bearing includes an annular body axially between the working and compensating chambers, enclosing an axial throughopening opening into the working chamber and closed by a membrane integrally formed with the inner wall of the bellows. The membrane has a central region defined by the inner wall and together with the inner wall delimits the interior. The membrane has a collar region encircling the central region and integrally formed with the central region. The outer circumference of the collar is rigidly connected to the annular body and/or the spring body.
A seal for a wall of a vehicle includes a first plate that defines a first slot, and the first plate is configured to be coupled to the wall. The seal includes a second plate that defines a guide that extends outwardly from the second plate. The second plate is positioned adjacent to the first plate such that the guide is in communication with the first slot. The seal includes a third plate that defines a second slot that receives the guide, and the third plate is positioned adjacent to the second plate and configured to be coupled to the wall.
HYDRAULIC ENGINE MOUNT
A hydraulic engine mount may include a nozzle plate including upper and lower nozzle plates, wherein each of the upper and lower nozzle plates may include a rim having an annular shape and forming a peripheral portion of the nozzle plate, a hub disposed at a central portion of the nozzle plate, and ribs connecting the rim and the hub while close contacting and supporting the membrane, and wherein the contact area between each rib of the upper nozzle plate and the membrane differs from the contact area between each rib of the lower nozzle plate and the membrane.
Mount assembly for vehicle
A mount assembly for a vehicle is provided. The mount assembly includes a mount that supports an in-vehicle device and a support bracket that is coupled and locked to the mount. The support bracket includes a first hook. The mount assembly further includes a mounting bracket that couples the mount to a vehicle body. The mounting bracket includes a housing to which the mount is coupled and a first stop protrusion to which the first hook of the support bracket is hook-coupled. A wedge ring supports the first hook from behind to prevent the first hook from bending backward and being separated from the first stop protrusion.
Mounting bracket for a vehicle component and method of forming
A mounting assembly and a method of forming the assembly is provided. The assembly has a first bracket and second bracket, and a bushing therebetween. The first bracket is formed by a member having a main portion defining a first face configured to mate with a vehicle component and a second face, and has a secondary portion extending outwardly from the main portion via a necked region. The second bracket is configured to mate with a vehicle chassis. An active side bracket for a vehicle component mount is provided by a member having a main portion defining a first mounting face with a tab extending outwardly from the main portion to define a second mounting face. A necked region extends outwardly from the tab to a secondary portion, and the tab, the necked region, and the secondary portion are co-planar in an unexcited state.
Antivibration device
A junction with an antivibration base body joined to its outer periphery is equipped with a chamfer portion where a corner connecting a flange portion to the junction is removed, a base portion connected to the chamfer portion in the axial direction, and an end portion connected to the base portion in the axial direction. At the base portion, a first projection plane made by being projected in a first direction orthogonal to the axis is substantially the same in area as a second projection plane made by being projected in a second direction orthogonal to the axis and the first direction. At the end portion, the area of the second projection plane is set to be larger than the area of the first projection plane.
