HYBRID SYSTEM
A hybrid system for a vehicle includes a drive unit provided with a motor for driving wheels and a power generation unit provided with an engine and a generator driven by the engine. The power generation unit is provided so as to be adjacent to the drive unit in a separated state. One of the drive unit and the power generation unit is mounted on a vehicle body via a first mount member at a lower portion of the one unit. The other one of the drive unit and the power generation unit is mounted on the vehicle body via a second mount member at an upper portion of the other one unit.
Vehicle
To provide a vehicle, vehicle motion performance of which can be made high by downsizing a drive unit having an engine and a motor. A drive unit for vehicle travel has the engine and the motor. The motor is arranged adjacent to a rear side of the engine. In a housing of the motor, parts of oil control valves and motor cooling oil paths, through each of which motor cooling oil flows, are provided. The motor cooling oil flowing through first motor cooling oil paths exchanges heat with engine oil in a first heat exchanger. The motor cooling oil flowing through second motor cooling oil paths exchanges heat with an engine cooling coolant in a second heat exchanger.

Method and device for controlling hybrid vehicle
A method for controlling a hybrid vehicle including a battery charged with electric power generated by an engine, including a motor as a drive source, and having multiple running modes that can be selected through a mode operation, the running modes including a normal mode configured to perform charging of the battery according to a running state, and a charge mode configured to perform electric power generation by the engine according to a mode operation, the method comprising: setting a range of charge amount that allows for charging of the battery based on the electric power generated; and setting an upper limit of the range of charge amount in the charge mode to be lower than an upper limit of the range of charge amount in the normal mode.
VEHICULAR COOLING SYSTEM
A series-hybrid vehicle includes an internal combustion engine for electric power generation and a motor generator for travelling. The internal combustion engine is cooled by a second coolant water circuit that has a main radiator. A first coolant water circuit having a sub radiator is used to cool a front wheel-side power train cooling part, a rear wheel-side power train cooling part, a water-cooled condenser, and a low temperature-side intercooler. When the vehicle is accelerating, an electrical compressor for an air conditioner comes to a stop, and the circulation of refrigerant to the water-cooled condenser is brought to a halt.
HYBRID VEHICLE
A hybrid vehicle includes an engine and an electric motor as driving power sources, a clutch of a hydraulic type provided between the engine and the electric motor, an electric oil pump that supplies hydraulic pressure to the clutch, a mechanical oil pump that interlocks with a rotation of the electric motor and supplies hydraulic pressure to the clutch, and a controller that controls the electric motor and the electric oil pump.
AUTOMOBILE INCLUDING MOTOR FOR RUNNING THE AUTOMOBILE
When there is an abnormality in communications between a motor ECU and an HVECU in an automobile, the motor ECU controls a motor such that creep torque or a given torque larger than the creep torque is delivered from the motor. Thus, when there is an abnormality in communications between the HVECU and the motor ECU, the automobile is able to run in a limp home mode.

VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A first electric power generation device configured to produce an accessory voltage according to a first instruction voltage. A second electric power generation device configured to produce the accessory voltage according to a second instruction. An electric control unit is configured to execute crank position stop control for stopping a crank of the engine at a target position when the engine is stopped by controlling the first electric power generation device such that a current is circulated in the first electric power generation device and the rotating electric machine generates braking torque. The electric control unit is configured to execute the crank position stop control in a state in which the second instruction voltage is equal to or higher than the first instruction voltage.
