TOW BAR ARRANGEMENT FOR CONTROL OF A SELF-PROPELLED TRAILER
Tow bar arrangement (100) for interconnection of a pulling vehicle (10) and a pulled trailer (20). The arrangement (100) comprises a control device (110) with a force sensor (111) arranged to sense an instantaneous relative force between vehicle (10) and trailer (20). The control device (110) is arranged to produce a control signal for an electric motor (21) arranged to propel the trailer (20) so that a motor force counter-acts said measured force. The invention is characterised in that the control device (110) is arranged to a first time series of force measurements, in that the control device (110) comprises a low-pass filter (112) producing a second low-pass filtered time series, and in that a regulator (113) is ar-ranged to regulate said second time series to produce said control signal.

TORQUE CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE, VEHICLE CONTROLLER, AND NON-TRANSITORY MACHINE-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A torque control method and apparatus for a vehicle, including: determining whether a torque change request is received, during a process of performing an energy recovery function; determining whether an antilock brake system is in an active state, in case that the torque change request is not received; if so, decreasing an energy recovery torque with a first torque change gradient; determining whether the antilock brake system is transited from the activated state to a non-activated state, during a process of decreasing the energy recovery torque; if so, determining whether it is satisfied that a first current driver demand torque is greater than a first preset value and the antilock brake system is in the non-activated state for longer than a first preset time; and if satisfied, recovering the energy recovery torque to the first current driver demand torque with a second torque change gradient.
INEFFICIENT ELECTRIC MOTOR OPERATION DURING CHARGE LIMITING VEHICLE OPERATION
A drivetrain includes an electric machine, an inverter, and a controller. The controller, for a given operating point of the electric machine, may schedule a method of commutation for switches of the inverter during presence of a negative wheel torque request according to a charge rate corresponding to the negative wheel torque request, temperatures of the electric machine and/or inverter, and/or a battery state of charge.
WEIGHT PROFILE DETERMINATION SYSTEM
A weight profile determination system may be provided that includes a sensor and a controller. The sensor may be disposed along a route and configured to generate a plurality of force measurements of a vehicle system moving on the route relative to the sensor. The force measurements may be obtained at different times and correspond to different locations along a length of the vehicle system. The controller may determine a weight profile for the vehicle system based on the force measurements generated by the sensor. The weight profile can represent a distribution of weight along the length of the vehicle system. The controller may communicate the weight profile to one or more of the vehicle system or an offboard device for controlling movement of the vehicle system based on the weight profile.
Method for controlling electric hand truck and apparatus therefor
A method for controlling an electric hand truck includes determining whether user manipulation is present due to a user input on the electric hand truck; and, if there is no user manipulation, then braking an electric motor that drives the wheels of the electric moving vehicle in a softlock manner in which, instead of power being applied to the electric motor, electrodes of the electric motor are short-circuited.
METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELECTRICALLY OPERATED OR ALSO ELECTRICALLY OPERABLE MOTOR VEHICLE AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for operating an electrically operated or also electrically operable motor vehicle provided with a rechargeable electric energy storage device associated with the drive motor of the motor vehicle. A target charging state is determined for the energy storage device and an operating strategy is determined for a route that is calculated, entered or predicted for the next trip, by which recuperative deceleration is enabled with a specifiable minimum amount for deceleration processes occurring along the route. A total mass of the motor vehicle, including optionally a trailer connected to the motor vehicle, deviating from an input normal value and an air resistance of the motor vehicle deviating from a predetermined normal value are taken into account.
POWER DISSIPATING TORQUE CONTROLLER
A method and a system are described for controlling power dissipation in an electric drive system for a hybrid electrical vehicle including determining the stator current of an electrical machine providing a maximum achievable power dissipation in the electrical drive system and determining a maximum available braking torque of an electrical machine.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE
In an electric vehicle, a power supplier includes a software type condenser charging circuit and a hardware type condenser charging circuit. The software capacitor charging circuit operates when a controller controls the software type condenser charging circuit while monitoring a voltage between opposite ends at an initial charging stage. The hardware type condenser charging circuit is operated when the controller controls the hardware type condenser charging circuit without monitoring the voltage between the opposite ends of the DC-link condenser or by direct switching manipulation of a user.
