It comprises at least one generator for generating an electric current; at least one control board being provided to receive the electric current from the generator; and at least one rechargeable battery being connected to and charged by the electric current from the control board, and being charged by the electric current from the generator as well. The generator can he an AC generator or a DC generator, and there may be two generators, and two operation control boards. There are two types of end units, such as a cutting assembly and a moving assembly. At least one of the control boards provides a driving power for driving one of the end units of the robot or the robotic lawn mower, which may be operative under AC or DC. The cutting assembly may include a set of cutting tools and the moving assembly may have a set of moving wheels, which may move in any directions under the control of the control boards.
Robotic Source Detection Device And Method
An autonomous robotic vehicle is capable of detecting, identifying, and locating the source of gas leaks such as methane. Because of the number of operating components within the vehicle, it may also be considered a robotic system. The robotic vehicle can be remotely operated or can move autonomously within a jobsite. The vehicle selectively deploys a source detection device that precisely locates the source of a leak. The vehicle relays data to stakeholders and remains powered that enables operation of the vehicle over an extended period. Monitoring and control of the vehicle is enabled through a software interface viewable to a user on a mobile communications device or personal computer.
Method for controlling electric hand truck and apparatus therefor
A method for controlling an electric hand truck includes determining whether user manipulation is present due to a user input on the electric hand truck; and, if there is no user manipulation, then braking an electric motor that drives the wheels of the electric moving vehicle in a softlock manner in which, instead of power being applied to the electric motor, electrodes of the electric motor are short-circuited.
Method and system to control at least two electric motors driving a vehicle
A control method and system to control a pair of electric motors driving a vehicle. The steps provided for are: determining, in a control cycle N and by means of a first processing core, for a first electric motor, a first electric current target based on a first torque or speed target; determining, in the control cycle N and by means of a second processing core, for a second electric motor, a second electric current target based on a second torque or speed target; controlling, in the control cycle N and by means of the first processing core, a first electronic power converter connected to the first electric motor so as to pursue the first electric current target; and controlling, in the control cycle N and by means of the second processing core, a second electronic power converter connected to the second electric motor so as to pursue the second electric current target.
Multi-Bar Linkage Electric Drive System
An electric drive system including: a rotary motor system including a hub assembly, a first rotating assembly, a second rotating assembly, and a third rotating assembly, wherein the hub assembly defines a rotational axis about which the first rotating assembly, the second rotating assembly, and the third rotating assembly are coaxially aligned and are capable of independent rotational movement independent of each other; a multi-bar linkage mechanism connected to each of the first and third rotating assemblies and connected to the hub assembly and constraining movement of the hub assembly so that the rotational axis of the hub assembly moves along a defined path that is in a transverse direction relative to the rotational axis and wherein the multi-bar linkage mechanism causes the rotational axis of the hub assembly to translate along the defined path in response to relative rotation of the first rotating assembly and the third rotating assembly with respect to each other.
Robotic work tool system and a charging connector arrangement for a robotic work tool system
A robotic work tool system, comprising a charging station and a robotic work tool, said robotic work tool comprising two charging connectors arranged on an upper side of the robotic work tool and said charging station comprising two charging connectors and a supporting structure arranged to carry said charging connectors and to extend over and above said robotic work tool as the robotic work tool enters the charging station for establishing electrical contact between the charging connectors of the robotic work tool and the charging connectors of the charging station from above, wherein said supporting structure is arranged to allow the robotic work tool exit the charging station by driving through the charging station without reversing.
Control allocation for vehicle torque
Methods and systems are provided for using the weights of cost functions to improve linear-program-based vehicle driveline architectures and systems. In some embodiments, the methods and systems may include establishing values for driveline controls of a linear program based on driveline requests of the linear program. The values of the driveline controls, which may be used to adjust driveline actuators, may be established based on values of a plurality of weights of a cost function of the linear program, the weights respectively corresponding with the plurality of driveline requests.
Vehicle drive apparatus
A transmission mechanism is provided with an output gear drivingly coupled to at least one of a pair of output members and placed coaxially with the pair of output members. A direction in which a rotating electrical machine and an inverter device are arranged side by side in an axial view is defined as a first direction. A direction perpendicular to both an axial direction and the first direction is defined as a second direction. A first output member that is one of the pair of output members is placed between the rotating electrical machine and the inverter device in the first direction, at a position in the second direction where both the rotating electrical machine and the inverter device are placed. The output gear is placed in such a manner as to overlap each of the rotating electrical machine and the inverter device in the axial view.
