SMART ELECTRIC VEHICLE TRIP PLANNER ALGORITHM
Systems and methods are provided for suggesting a charging station for an electric vehicle. A partial range of the electric vehicle corresponding to a predetermined percentage of the current state of charge of a battery of the electric vehicle is determined. A location corresponding to the partial range, along a route to a destination, is determined and used to select a suggested charging station based on the location corresponding to the partial range. The suggested charging station is generated for presentation at a display.
VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VEHICLE
A vehicle comprising an electrically driven wheel axle having at least two road wheels, an electric machine for providing propulsion power to the wheel axle, and a control unit configured to obtain positional data of the vehicle, the positional data containing information about the geographical location of the vehicle or the location of the vehicle relative to a reference point/area. Upon determination by the control unit that the vehicle's current location is a location where propelling by providing electric propulsion to the wheel axle is not permitted, the control unit is configured to generate an output signal which automatically causes, or which suggests via a user interface notification to cause, a temporary disablement of the wheel axle and the at least two road wheels from providing a contribution to the propulsion power that propels the vehicle. A method of controlling a vehicle is also disclosed.
Electric vehicle
An electric vehicle includes: a rotary electric machine configured to generate a driving force for driving driving wheels; a driving battery storing power to drive the rotary electric machine; a converter connected to the driving battery; an auxiliary battery connected to the driving battery via the converter; and a cooling box connected to the auxiliary battery. When the driving battery has an SOC reduced to be smaller than a prescribed threshold value, the converter is stopped and power remaining in the auxiliary battery is used to drive the cooling box.
VEHICLE OPERATION MANAGEMENT METHOD, VEHICLE OPERATION MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING VEHICLE OPERATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
A maintenance time acquisition unit acquires a periodic inspection and maintenance time determined in advance for each of a plurality of electric vehicles, a battery remaining life prediction unit predicts a remaining life of each of storage batteries from a state of the storage battery of each of the plurality of electric vehicles, and an operation plan creation unit creates an operation plan of the plurality of electric vehicles based on the periodic inspection and maintenance time of each of the plurality of electric vehicles and the remaining life of the storage battery of each of the plurality of electric vehicles.
VEHICLE CHARGING METHOD, DEVICE, AND VEHICLE
A vehicle charging method includes obtaining overall trip information of a vehicle, the overall trip information including at least one trip segment, assigning a charging strategy to each trip segment, and according to the trip segment and a corresponding charging mode, performing a charging service on the vehicle during a trip of the vehicle. In response to existence of a driving trip segment, a driving charging mode is assigned corresponding to the driving trip segment. In response to existence of a parking trip segment, a stationary charging mode is assigned corresponding to the parking trip segment.
Automatic Routing Through Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
To navigate an electric vehicle from a starting location to a destination, a system identifies multiple charging stations between the starting location and the destination and determining a navigation route that requires a least amount of time for the electric vehicle to travel from the starting location to the destination via one or more of the charging stations, including determining a non-linear relationship between an amount of time and an amount of charge the EV receives during the amount of time.
ROUTE BASED BATTERY PRECONDITIONING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method of preconditioning a battery of a vehicle includes determining a baseline preconditioning start time relative to an estimated time of arrival at a charging station. The method further includes analyzing a route of the vehicle to the charging station to determine a route characteristic. The method further includes modifying the baseline preconditioning start time based on the route characteristic to determine a route-based preconditioning start time.
Parameterization of an electric vehicle's energy consumption
Techniques regarding parameterizing energy consumption of an electric vehicle are provided. For example, one or more embodiments described herein can comprise a system, which can comprise a memory that can store computer executable components. The system can also comprise a processor, operably coupled to the memory, and that can execute the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can comprise a vehicle state estimation component that determines an operating condition experienced by a vehicle while traveling a route. Further, the system can comprise an energy consumption component that parametrizes an amount of energy expended by the vehicle while traveling the route based on a loss table that is populated with an energy consumption value derived from historic operation of the vehicle at the operating condition.
Method and Control Device for Temperature Control of a Traction Battery of an Electrically Powered Motor Vehicle
A method for temperature control of a traction battery includes predefining a target temperature which the traction battery should have at the end of a journey and upon arrival at a fast-charging station; predicting a temperature which the traction battery will have at the end of the journey and upon arrival at the fast-charging station; determining a temperature difference between the target temperature and the predicted temperature; predefining a temperature control specification for temperature control of the traction battery during the journey of the motor vehicle to the fast-charging station in accordance with the determined temperature difference, so that the target temperature prevails upon arrival at the fast-charging station; and controlling the temperature of the traction battery according to the predetermined temperature control specification during the journey of the vehicle.
