VEHICLE AND VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD
A vehicle includes a regenerative braking device provided on regenerative braking wheels, which are any ones of front wheels and rear wheels, a frictional braking device configured to separately control a frictional braking force applied to each of the front wheels and the rear wheels, and an electronic control unit is configured to, upon detecting a slip state where a wheel speed of the regenerative braking wheels executing regenerative braking is below a slip determination threshold value positioned between a vehicle body speed and an anti-lock brake control operation threshold value, execute a regenerative control process for controlling the regenerative braking device such that the regenerative braking device generates a regenerative braking force that decreases a difference between the wheel speed and the slip determination threshold value.
Electric brake system and controlling method thereof
Disclosed herein is an electric brake system including: a hydraulic feeder configured to move a piston forward or backward according to a pedal effort from a brake pedal to discharge oil; a motor position sensor configured to measure a position of the piston; and a controller configured to control, when an Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) control starts, a change in direction of the piston based on predicted displacement information of the piston while the ABS control is performed such that the piston is at a target position at target vehicle speed.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BRAKING AND/OR TRACTION OF A VEHICLE
A method for controlling braking and/or traction of a vehicle is provided. The methods includes determining by the vehicle control unit a desired slip value based on vehicle state parameters, the desired slip value being communicated to the braking control unit and to the traction control unit, measuring or estimating a slip measure or estimation from wheel parameters collected on the at least wheel tire by the sensor, the slip measure or estimation being communicated to the braking control unit and/or to the traction control unit controlling a wheel slip by the braking control unit and by the traction control unit, based on the desired slip value and the slip measure or estimation.
SYSTEM AND METHOD IN DATA-DRIVEN VEHICLE DYNAMIC MODELING FOR PATH-PLANNING AND CONTROL
Operation and motion control, by a vehicle's ADAS or AD features, is improved in ways suitable to EVs having higher driving and handling performance. The vehicle dynamic model for high rates of lateral acceleration (e.g., sharp cornering or taking curves having a small radius of curvature as faster speeds) is improved by one or more of optimizing time cornering stiffness with a sigmoid function and/or altering front/rear steering angle to account for roll steer and compliance steer, based on vehicle testing. Indicators for lane departure warning or collision warning, evasive steering, or emergency braking are therefore reliably extended to allow higher performance maneuvers.
METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELECTRIC DRIVETRAIN FOR A WORKING MACHINE, ELECTRIC DRIVETRAIN FOR A WORKING MACHINE, AND WORKING MACHINE
A method for operating an electric drivetrain of a working machine is provided wherein the drivetrain comprises a work drive with an electric work motor and a travel drive with an electric travel motor and vehicle wheels, wherein the working machine experiences a speed deceleration from the outside that may result in a braking force acting on the vehicle wheels lower than a driving force acting on the vehicle wheels due to a moment of inertia of the travel motor. The method includes supplying the travel motor with a power in a direction opposite to an operating direction of the travel motor in order to reduce a rotational speed of the travel motor, if it is detected in advance using a situation detection that the braking force acting on the vehicle wheels as a result of the speed deceleration is lower than the driving force acting on the vehicle wheels.
Torque deration in response traction control events
A method, apparatus, and system are disclosed for incrementally derating a torque applied by a drivetrain in response a number of traction control events detected by a traction control system over a predetermined time period.
Braking method and system for an electric vehicle
A method for braking an electric vehicle in which a first axle of an electric vehicle is decelerated by an electric motor of the electric vehicle and/or by a friction brake system of the electric vehicle.
System for an electrically driven vehicle, vehicle having same and method for same
A system for an electrically driven vehicle includes at least one motor controller configured to control at least one electric motor, with which at least one drive wheel of the vehicle can be driven. The system further includes at least one brake controller configured to control friction brakes, with each of which one of multiple drive wheels and/or non-driven wheels can be braked. The brake controller and the electric motor controller each have a data interface that is a bus interface. The brake controller and the electric motor controller are set up to send and/or receive data with a predefined maximum data transmission rate via the first data interface. The brake controller and the electric motor each have a second data interface, each second data interface being designed to send and/or receive data with a higher data transmission rate than the maximum data transmission rate of the first data interface.
Traction control device and method for four-wheel drive electric vehicle
A traction control device and method for a four-wheel drive electric vehicle are disclosed. When the drive wheels of an electric vehicle spin, a drive force of the electric vehicle is controlled so as to restrain the spinning of the drive wheels and to secure the starting performance and acceleration performance of the electric vehicle.
Control Apparatus for Vehicle, Control System for Vehicle, and Control Method for Vehicle
A control apparatus for a vehicle includes an addition portion that outputs a post-compensation driver request torque, which is acquired by adding a driving torque (a loss compensation driving torque) lost due to a braking torque provided to a wheel on a low-μ road surface side according to a BLSD request hydraulic pressure calculated by a BLSD request hydraulic pressure calculation processing portion to a driver request torque calculated by a driver request torque calculation processing portion, to a motor.
