DOOR MOUNTED VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle includes a body and a door moveable relative to the body between the open and closed position. The vehicle includes a seat fixed relative to the door. The seat includes a seat back and a seat bottom. The body has a longitudinal axis, and the seat bottom extends from the seat back toward the longitudinal axis along a cross-vehicle direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis when the door is in the closed position.
Automatically adjusting vehicle seat back supports of vehicle seat assemblies
A vehicle includes a vehicle seat comprising a seat base structure and a seat back structure pivotally connected to the seat base structure. The seat back structure includes a central adjustable region, an inboard side adjustable region adjacent the central adjustable region and a outboard side adjustable region located adjacent the central adjustable region. The seat back structure includes a central proximity sensor located at the central adjustable region, an inboard side proximity sensor located at the inboard side adjustable region and an outboard side proximity sensor located at the outboard side adjustable region. A seat back structure adjustment apparatus includes a central region adjustable member that adjusts a configuration of the central adjustable region, an inboard side adjustable member that adjusts a configuration of the inboard side adjustable region and an outboard side adjustable member that adjusts a configuration of the outboard adjustable region.
OCCUPANT SUPPORT SYSTEM
A vehicle seat includes a seat bottom and a seat back. The seat back is coupled to the seat bottom to move relative to the vehicle seat. The vehicle further includes a support mechanism coupled to the vehicle and configured to vary support provided to an occupant sitting on the vehicle seat.
SEAT CONTROL APPARATUS AND SEAT CONTROL METHOD
A seat control apparatus includes an input part, a driving part, a sensor part, a memory, and a controller. The seat control apparatus may receive, through the input part, a switch input for controlling a seat. The seat control apparatus may identify, using the sensor part, whether an escape mechanism for the seat is operated. The seat control apparatus may stop driving of at least one motor included in the driving part when the escape mechanism is operated.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OCCUPANT CUSTOMIZED SEAT
An occupant customized seat control apparatus and method are provided. The method includes recognizing, by a camera, an occupant that approaches a vehicle, controlling a display to move based on a height of the recognized occupant, determining whether the recognized occupant is an infant, and when the recognized occupant is determined to be an infant, determining whether a booster seat needs to be controlled based on the height of the recognized occupant, and when at least one of the booster seat, a footrest, or the combination thereof needs to be controlled, converting a value of the recognized height into a booster seat actuator movement amount value, and controlling the booster seat to move based on the converted actuator movement amount value.
CONTROL METHOD FOR AUTOMOTIVE SEAT
A control method for an automotive seat is applied to a child safety seat. The method includes: acquiring a distance between an automotive door and the seat after the automotive door is opened; determining that the distance is greater than or equal to a preset threshold; and controlling the seat to rotate to a preset position. The control method acquires the distance between the automotive door and the seat to determine whether the automotive door is open, and compares the acquired distance with the preset threshold to determine whether the automotive door is open to a certain angle. In this way, the control method determines whether a user intends to use the child seat. When the acquired distance between the automotive door and the seat is greater than or equal to the preset threshold, the control method controls the seat to rotate automatically to an execution position.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR AUTOMOTIVE SEATS AND AUTOMOTIVE SEAT ARRANGEMENTS
Disclosed embodiments include systems, devices, and methods for automotive seats for a vehicle, and seating arrangements within a vehicle. Disclosed embodiments include systems, devices, and methods for moving a vehicle seat between a first driving position and a second access position and moving the vehicle seat between the second access position and the first driving position. The driving position may be in the center of the vehicle and the access positions may be on either side of a vehicle. Disclosed embodiments include systems, devices, and methods for modular automotive seat assemblies comprising interchangeable portions in order to replace worn-out or damaged parts, or to change seat styles and configurations. Disclosed embodiments include systems, devices, and methods for automotive seating arrangements that allow for better line-of-sight for passengers.
Control valve for an air spring and motor vehicle seat having a control valve
The invention relates to a control valve (16) for an air spring, comprising a housing (41), an exhaust duct that has an exhaust tappet (26) for opening of closing the exhaust duct, which exhaust tappet interacts with a first control means (19), a ventilation duct that has a ventilation tappet (27) for opening or closing the ventilation duct, which ventilation tappet interacts with a second control means (20), and a supplemental duct having a supplemental tappet (28) for opening or closing the supplemental duct, which supplemental tappet interacts with a third control means (21), wherein a first air connection A connects to the exhaust duct and a second air connection P connects to the exhaust duct together with the supplemental duct, wherein a first control means (19) and a second control means (20) are arranged to one another in such a manner that said control means cannot be actuated at the same time by an control element (18), and wherein the second control means (20) and the third control means (21) are arranged to one another in such a manner that the supplemental duct can only be opened when the ventilation duct is opened.
