Lifter device

Pawls in a lifter device, having: outer teeth that are rotatably supported by shafts for in lock plates and are meshed with inner teeth of a base; and pins that are provided in an intermediate section in the radial direction, between the shaft center of the shafts and the teeth tips of the inner teeth, and are pressed in the rotation direction by a rotation transmittance plate during a release operation. The pins have a protruding shape that protrudes from the pawls in the thrust direction.

Clutch unit for vehicle

A clutch unit used for a vehicle seat includes an input side clutch is configured such that one member of the input side inner ring member and the input side outer ring member rotates with a rotation of the operation lever, and the other member of the input side inner ring member and the input side outer ring member is rotated via the input side transmission member, so that the rotation of the operation lever is transmitted to the output side clutch. A rotation suppressing member configured to urge the other member in the rotation axis direction and apply a rotational resistance force greater than a force for the co-rotating is provided so as to suppress co-rotation of the other member. A pressing force transmission portion configured to transmit a force the rotation suppressing member urges in the rotation axis direction to the output side transmission member is provided.

Adjustment arrangement for an adjusting device of a vehicle seat and a method for producing the same

An adjustment arrangement for an adjustment device of a vehicle seat comprises a transverse tube and at least one connecting part connected fixedly in terms of rotation to the transverse tube. The transverse tube is inserted into a bore in the connecting part.

Lifter device

A lifter device includes: an output shaft; a support member supporting the output shaft; an input member coupled to an operation handle; a feed portion transmitting forward and reverse rotation of the input member to the output shaft; a lock portion locking the rotation of the output shaft; and a friction generating portion applying a frictional force to the rotation of the output shaft. A rotating cam of the friction generating portion is a switching structure of switching to: a friction-suppression state when the operation handle is in a neutral position and when the operation handle is turned from the neutral position in a direction of raising the seat; and a friction-on state when the operation handle is turned from the neutral position in a direction of lowering the seat. In the friction-on state, a rotating member is pressed against a fixed member and friction is generated.

A backrest recline mechanism including a first shaft attachable to a first seat assembly component and a second shaft attachable to a second seat assembly component. The first shaft has a slotted ring defining capture slots and an interior annular space. A control ring has a first end disposed in the annular space. The second shaft is engaged with a second end of the control ring. A first collar, having a plurality of release recesses, is rotatably disposed around the slotted ring. First bearings respectively retained within the capture slots are beneath the first collar. In a first rotational position of the first collar, the plurality of release recesses align with the capture slots to rotationally disengage the first and second components. In a second rotational position, the release recesses misalign with the capture slots to rotationally engage the first and second seat assembly components.

A handle assembly for a seat of a vehicle includes an up/down handle, a recline handle, and a finger guard. The up/down handle is configured to adjust a vertical position of a seat bottom when the up/down handle is rotated relative to the seat about a first pivot axis. The recline handle is configured to allow an angle of a seat back to be adjusted when the recline handle is rotated relative to the seat about a second pivot axis. The finger guard is configured to cover a gap between the up/down handle and the recline handle to prevent an occupant in the seat from inserting a finger into the gap. The finger guard is separate from and attached to the recline handle and is configured to rotate about a third pivot axis relative to the recline handle independent of rotation of the recline handle about the second pivot.
