Device for reducing kinetosis-related disorders of an occupant while in driving mode of a vehicle, and a vehicle
A device for reducing a kinetosis-related disorder in a driving mode of a vehicle includes a vehicle seat with a headrest and an actuator system. The vehicle seat and/or the headrest is adjustable by the actuator system to position the headrest relative to a head of an occupant on the vehicle seat. A support region of the headrest includes a material which is elastically switchable and the material is solidifiable when a pressure is exerted on the material such that the material stiffens when the head of the occupant sinks into the support region.
Seat
A seat includes a pivotally movable bottom, a pivotally movable backrest independent from the bottom, a first supporter suspending and supporting a front side of the bottom, and a second supporter suspending a rear side of the bottom from a side behind the backrest section, and pivotally movably supporting the bottom together with the first supporter. According to the seat, the front side and the rear side of the bottom are suspended and supported. Thus, compared to a seat in which a front side of a bottom is supported in a cantilever manner, the seat is capable of ensuring bearing capacity for a seating load. The rear side of the bottom is suspended and supported from a side behind the backrest section. Accordingly, a support structure around the bottom including the front side of the bottom can be downsized.

Composite one-piece cushion nose
A motor vehicle seating assembly for a motor vehicle has a lower seat assembly and an upwardly extending seat back assembly is disclosed, where the lower seat assembly comprises a lower seat frame base having a pair of longitudinally extending mounting rails, a pair of side frame members operably connected with the mounting rails, and a transverse cross tube operatively connected with and extending between a forward portion of the pair of side frame members. A lower seat cushion and suspension module is attached to the lower seat frame base. The lower seat cushion and suspension module further comprises a one-piece composite pan having a forward edge, a suspension system mounted to and supported by the one-piece composite pan, and a one-piece composite nose having a rearward edge pivotally attached proximate the forward edge of the composite pan and a forward facing engagement member pivotally and operably connected with the transverse cross tube.
Pumping device for vehicle seat
A pumping device is disclosed for a vehicle seat, including a clutch means for receiving rotational force from the outside and transferring power to a link means of a seat cushion. The clutch means includes a clutch block rotated by the rotational force transferred from the outside, a clutch drum which is provided with the clutch block in an inside space and transfers the power to the link means of the seat cushion while rotating by the rotational force transferred from the clutch block, and a plurality of fitting pieces interposed between an outer peripheral surface of the clutch block and an inner peripheral surface of the clutch drum and transferring the rotational force of the clutch block to the clutch drum. The clutch block has a protrusion portion protruding radially from the outer peripheral surface and thus stress concentration is not generated on the plurality of fitting pieces.
Occupant posture adjustment device and pedal device
An occupant posture adjustment device and a pedal device include a pedal adjustment mechanism that changes the inclination of a pedal with respect to a floor panel between a first driving state and a second driving state, and a controller that, in the first driving state, controls the pedal adjustment mechanism such that a back face of the pedal and the floor panel are separated from each other, and in the second driving state, controls the pedal adjustment mechanism such that the back face of the pedal and the floor panel come into contact with each other.
PASSENGER SUPPORT
A passenger support includes a vehicle seat and a foundation having a lower track and an upper track. The lower track is coupled to a floor of a vehicle in a fixed position relative the floor. The vehicle seat is coupled to the upper track to slide back and forth relative to the lower track.
Rear seat cushion with H-point articulation
A vehicle seat assembly includes a fixed mounting plate and a support bar coupled with the mounting plate and slidable with respect thereto along an arcuate path. A cushion support is coupled with the support bar, and a drive mechanism is operably coupled with the cushion support to rotate the cushion support about a center of the arcuate path positioned opposite the rail by sliding of the support bar along the path.
Occupant supports and virtual visualization and navigation
Arrangements for safety and comfort in vehicles.
MANUAL SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTER MECHANISM
A manually operated seat height adjustment actuator mechanism includes a rotatory actuator-driven torque input mechanism defining a first axis and a torque output mechanism defining a second axis offset from the first axis. The rotatory actuator-driven torque input mechanism is provided by a planetary gear assembly. The torque output mechanism comprises a cycloidal drive assembly including eccentrically driven gears. Linking gearing operatively links the torque input mechanism and the torque output mechanism. The eccentrically driven gears engage an output pinion configured to engage a gear segment of a seat height adjustment mechanism for raising and lowering a seat.
