Motor vehicle seat provided with an interface for controlling a movement of a seat hinge
A seat for a motor vehicle, the seat comprising a backrest and a seating portion, the backrest being mounted to rotate relative to the seating portion about a substantially transverse axis, a hinge being provided for adjusting a tilt of the backrest relative to the seating portion about the substantially transverse axis, the seat being provided with a plurality of means for controlling a movement of the hinge, the seat further comprising an interface for controlling said movement of the hinge, the interface comprising a central portion and a peripheral portion, the peripheral portion being arranged around the central portion, the interface further comprising a plurality of recesses shaped to receive the plurality of means for controlling the movement of said hinge.
LINEAR RECLINER MECHANISM FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat including a pivot bracket, a back frame, a linear adjustment mechanism, a striker, and a latch. The back frame is pivotally connected to the pivot bracket and configured to pivot about a pivot axis. The back frame includes a first end spaced apart from the and disposed below the pivot axis. The latch is configured to selectively attach the linear adjustment mechanism to the first end of the back frame so that as the first linear adjustment mechanism translates, the back frame pivots from a first use position and a second use position, and selectively detach the linear adjustment mechanism from the first end of the back frame so that the back frame is pivotable to a non-use position.
Vehicle seat with adjustable seat back and multiple restraint release mechanism
Provided is a design for an emergency vehicle seat equipped with an adjustable seat back assembly and a multiple restraint release mechanism for simultaneously releasing multiple seat belt restraints while also releasing a bracket member of a mounting apparatus to enable the release of a cylindrical tank being transported in the vehicle seat. The tank is a part of a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) worn on the back of the occupant of the vehicle seat.
SEATBACK DRIVE SYSTEM SPRING DOWN, POWER UP
A seatback drive assembly includes a lower bracket, a seatback pivotally mounted to the lower bracket, and a lock cam pivotally mounted to the seatback. The lock cam holds the seatback in an upright position when the lock cam engages the lower bracket. A biasing spring moves the seatback to a folded position when the lock cam is disengaged from the lower bracket. The seatback drive assembly also includes a gear pivotally mounted to the lower bracket and having a set of gear teeth. A motorized pinion engages the gear and is driven by an electric motor.
Seat reclining device
In a seat reclining device, a seatback frame forming a skeleton of a seatback is coupled to a seat cushion frame to be rotatable about a shaft with respect to the seat cushion frame. One end portion of a first sliding bracket is rotatably coupled to a middle portion of the seatback frame by a driving unit. The other end portion of the first sliding bracket extends toward a vehicle body located behind the seatback. A second sliding bracket is mounted on the vehicle body located behind the seatback and extends toward the first sliding bracket in a front and rear longitudinal direction to be connected to the first sliding bracket. The second sliding bracket is configured to guide a sliding movement of the first sliding bracket while the first sliding bracket is being rotated.
DRIVE SYSTEM FOR A TILT ADJUSTMENT, VEHICLE SEAT, METHOD FOR OPERATING A DRIVE SYSTEM
A drive system (2) tilt adjusts a back rest (10) of a vehicle seat (1). The back rest (10) is held on a seat base (11) by a fitting (12). An output pinion (24), drivable by a drive motor (20), is provided on the seat back side and interacts with a tooth segment (18) arranged rotationally fixed on the base (11). A pivot movement of the back rest (10) can be carried out by the drive motor (20) while the fitting (12) is unlocked. The output pinion (24) can be uncoupled from the drive motor (20) by a coupling (22). A compensation spring (14) acting between the back rest (10) and the base (11) pre-tensions the back rest (10) in the direction of the non-use position. A vehicle seat (1) with the drive system and a method for operating a drive system (2) are also provided.
RECLINER FOR VEHICLE SEAT
Disclosed herein is a recliner for a vehicle seat, wherein a plurality of second latching protrusions (51a) is formed on a socket (50) and a plurality of first latching protrusions (41b and 42b), which is latched to the second latching protrusions (51a) when the socket rotates, is formed on two wedges (41 and 42). When the recliner is operated, a loss angle is reduced by simultaneous rotation of the wedges (41 and 42) so that the responsiveness of the recliner is improved.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat, in particular rear seat or rear bench, including a seat part, a backrest pivotally articulated to the seat part, whose position is variable between an upright seating or use position and a loading position folded forwards in direction of the seat part, a locking device arresting the backrest in the seating position, an unlocking device for unlocking the locking device for folding the backrest forwards from the seating position into the loading position, and an electromotive driving device for erecting the backrest from the loading position into the seating position. The unlocking device includes a manually actuatable release element and an electrically activatable unlocking means, so that electromotive erection or a fast manual erection of the backrest of a vehicle seat from the loading position into the upright seating is possible.
ROTARY RECLINE MECHANISM
A rotary recline mechanism for allowing reclining movement of a first part relative to a second part, the mechanism comprising: a first gear mechanism comprising first and second gear rings having first and second sets of teeth that engage to lock the first and second parts relative to each other and disengage on operation of an actuator to allow relative movement of the first and second parts by application of a force on one of the parts in a first direction, and a second override gear mechanism to allow relative movement of the first and second parts by application of a force in a second direction while the first and second sets of teeth are engaged.
