CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A child safety seat includes a seat shell having at least one sidewall, a buffering part connected with the seat shell, the buffering part being movable between a first position corresponding to a stowed state where the buffering part is retracted toward the sidewall and a second position corresponding to a deployed state where the buffering part protrudes sideways from the sidewall, a retaining mechanism configured to hold the buffering part in the first position via a magnetic force, and a release mechanism operatively connected with the retaining mechanism, the release mechanism being operable to release the buffering part from the hold of the retaining mechanism for movement of the buffering part from the first position to the second position.
Lateral shock absorber
A lateral shock absorber includes a protective fender pivoted to a base of a child car safety seat and a locking mechanism disposed on the base. The protective fender is pivotally switchable between a folded state or an unfolded state. The locking mechanism is for selectively engaging with the protective fender to restrain the protective fender from switching to the unfolded state or disengaging from the protective fender to allow the protective fender to switch to the unfolded state when the protective fender is located in the folded state. The locking mechanism includes a locking assembly, an abutting component and an abutting block connected to the abutting component. The locking assembly engages with the protective fender to restrain the protective fender from moving, and the abutting component is driven by the abutting block to disengage the locking assembly from the protective fender when the abutting block is pressed downwardly.
Child safety seat or baby carrier for mounting on a motor vehicle seat and side impact bar for such a seat
A child safety seat or a baby carrier for mounting on a motor vehicle seat, particularly a motor vehicle side seat, has a seat tray and a side impact bar mounted thereon which can be moved from a rest position located in particular within a standard width to a functional position located in particular outside thereof, and vice versa, wherein the side impact bar is positioned in particular on both sides of the seat tray so as to transmit any lateral forces behind the back of a child sitting in the child safety seat and to direct said lateral forces into the seat tray. A side impact bar is used with and mounted on the child safety seat or baby carrier.
Side Impact Protection Device
A plurality of air bags is provided as part of a child safety seat for use in a vehicle. The decompressed external air bag extends outwardly from a wing of the seat and transfers an air volume to the initially compressed internal bag, causing it to inflate and cushion the head and/or upper body of the occupant of the safety seat. When installed in a vehicle the seat equipped with air bags serves to mitigate any free flight zones during a collision, increase ride down time, and allow early loading onset, and thereby improve the safety of the occupant. The external airbag may be adjustable for tailoring the safety seat to the vehicle dimensions and being collapsible for stowage.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT AND DETACHABLE SIDE IMPACT PROTECTION BLOCK
A detachable side impact protection block and a child safety seat provided with same. The detachable side impact protection block comprises a protection block and at least one locking member. The protection block is detachably connected to the child safety seat, and when in a connected state, protrudes from the surface of the connection position; each locking member is arranged between the protection block and the child safety seat, and is used for locking the protection block to the child safety seat, while also allowing for unlocking. The present detachable side impact protection block allows users to selectively install same on the child safety seat according to use requirements, such that child safety seat is adequately safe during use. When not in use, said detachable side impact protection block can be dismounted, such that the child safety seat occupies less lateral space.
Lateral protecting mechanism and child restraint system therewith
A lateral protecting mechanism adapted for a child carrier is provided and includes a protecting block, a locking component, a driving component and an operating component. The protecting block is pivotally disposed a lateral portion of the child carrier. The locking component is slidably disposed on the lateral portion of the child carrier and configured to slide to abut against the protecting block for restraining a pivoting movement of the protecting block. The driving component is located at a position corresponding to the locking component for driving the locking component to slide to abut against the protecting block for restraining the pivoting movement of the protecting block. The operating component is coupled to the driving component for driving the driving component to pivot to drive the locking component to abut against the protecting block when the operating component is operated. Besides, a related child restraint system is provided.
Interior structure of vehicle
A seat mounted in the cabin of a vehicle has side supports for supporting the respective right and left lateral sides of the upper half body of an occupant. The seat also has a seat frame and a side support frame incorporated in the side support on the inner side in the vehicle width direction and secured on the seat frame. A console box is mounted adjacent to the seat, on the inner side of the seat in the vehicle width direction. The side support frame and the console box or the console frame are positioned so as to at least partially overlap each other in a side view.
Vehicle side airbag
An airbag for a vehicle, such as a side airbag, may be mounted to or proximate to a seat assembly on which a passenger may sit. The side airbag may include a chamber and an inflator configured to cause the chamber to expand toward the passenger to slow an acceleration of the passenger responsive to an imminent impact of the vehicle with another object or surface. Upon deployment of the chamber, the side airbag may cause a portion of the seat assembly (a seat tub, seat pan, and/or cushion coupled thereto) to deform toward the passenger seated thereon while remaining occluded from the passenger by the assembly. In some examples, the chamber may be stored in an unfolded position to allow for a more rapid deployment.
Side impact protection linkage mechanism and safety seat base
A side impact protection linkage mechanism (100) includes a side impact protection block (10). The side impact protection block (10) is pivotally connected to a side wall (20) of a safety seat base (200) and has a folded position attached to the side wall (20) and an expanded position away from the side wall (20). A support frame (11) is disposed in the side wall (20). The support frame (11) is equipped with an engaging member (12) and a linkage member (13). An end of the engaging member (12) is pivotally connected to the support frame (11) and another end of the engaging member (12) has a lock portion (120) slidably protruding from the side wall (20). The engaging member (12) is detachably engaged with the side impact protection block (10) through the lock portion (120). The linkage member (13) is disposed below the engaging member (12) and capable of sliding upward and downward along the support frame (11). The linkage member (13) is configured to drive the engaging member (12) rotate downward.
SAFETY SEAT PROTECTING FROM SIDE IMPACT
A safety seat for a vehicle includes a rigid frame concavely shaped to accommodate a person, and a headrest shaped to accommodate a head of the person. The headrest has two headrest side panels flexibly connected to the rigid frame. A horizontally disposed lever is positioned at the back of the rigid frame which is pushed by an external side impact. A vertically disposed lever adjacent to the horizontally disposed lever is pushed vertically by movement of the horizontally disposed lever, and moves the two headrest side panels to a closed position on the sides of the head.
