An on-board device includes: an air-conditioning unit configured to perform air conditioning by blowing air-conditioning air into a vehicle cabin from an at outlet port that faces the vehicle cabin, and perform, in accordance with remote control, pre-air conditioning for air-conditioning the vehicle cabin before an occupant gets into a vehicle; a seat moving unit configured to move a vehicular seat in a seat front-rear direction, the vehicular seat being disposed such that a front face of a seat back faces the air outlet port; and a control unit configured to, when the remote control is perforated for performing the pre-air conditioning, control the air-conditioning unit such that the pre-air conditioning is performed, and control the seat moving unit such that the vehicular seat moves to a seat front side.

VENTILATED SEAT SYSTEM

A ventilated seat system for a vehicle includes a seating assembly including a seatback operably coupled to a seat base. A blower is coupled to the seating assembly. The blower generates a sound transmission when activated. The blower includes a housing defining an inlet and an outlet. A first metamaterial silencer is coupled to an interior surface of the housing proximate to the inlet, and a second metamaterial silencer is coupled to the interior surface of the housing proximate to the outlet. Each of the first metamaterial silencer and the second metamaterial silencer reduces the sound transmission generated by the blower.

Seat ventilation blower and seat ventilation system having the same

A seat ventilation blower may include a first housing; a second housing coupled and assembled to the first housing; an impeller inserted inside the first housing or the second housing, the impeller configured to rotate; and a circuit board body having a motor assembly coupled to the impeller to rotate the impeller wherein the circuit board body is configured to control operation of the motor assembly and installed in the housing when the first and second housings are coupled and assembled together.

VEHICLE SEAT CLIMATE SYSTEMS

An example seat climate system includes a seat, a first ventilation device, a second ventilation device, and a ventilation device controller. The seat has a first ventilation layer and a second ventilation layer. The first ventilation device is connected to the first ventilation layer and has an off state and an on state. The first ventilation device moves air through the first ventilation layer when in the on state. The second ventilation device is connected to the second ventilation layer and has an off state and an on state. The second ventilation device moves air through the second ventilation layer when in the on state. The ventilation device controller is connected to the first ventilation device and the second ventilation device and includes a controller and driver.

SEAT AIR-CONDITIONER

A seat air-conditioner is applied for a seat on which an occupant is seated. The seat air-conditioner includes a blower configured to suck air through a supporting surface of the seat that supports the occupant, and an introducing passage through which the air is introduced from the supporting surface to the blower. The seat includes a seat cushion supporting a lower body of the occupant and a seat back supporting an upper body of the occupant. The blower is disposed in the seat back such that airflow generated by the blower flows more through the seat back than through the seat cushion.

SEAT SURFACE PERFORATIONS

A seat includes comprising: a seat bottom and a seat back operatively engaging the seat bottom. At, least one of the seat back and the seat bottom has an air impermeable outer trim layer covering at least a portion of an outer surface. The air impermeable outer trim layer includes perforations extending therethrough. The, size, spacing, or both of the perforations varies based at least in part on a body pressure map, and the perforations are configured to allow airflow therethrough directed toward an occupant of the seat.

INTEGRATED DECKING ARM SUPPORT FEATURE

A seating assembly includes a seatback having a frame and a cushion assembly. A cushion carrier includes a lower member defining a frame receiving cavity. A first set of ribs extend across the frame receiving cavity in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal extent of the lower member. The first set of ribs extend between the lower member and a lower brace of the frame. A second set of ribs are parallel with the first set of ribs. The second set of ribs are longer than the first set of ribs.
