Disclosed are a hot melt tape for hook-and-loop fasteners without sewing which may be adhered at a low temperature and complete hardening of an adhesive resin in a short time and a method for manufacturing a seat padding material for vehicles using the same. The method includes preparing the padding material and a hook-and-loop fabric, preparing a hot melt tape having a hot melt resin layer by coating a surface of a release paper with a reactive hot melt resin having a melting point of 40-80° C. before reacting, adhering the hot melt tape to a surface of the padding material by applying heat of a temperature of 30-70° C. and pressure thereto, removing the release paper, adhering the hook-and-loop fabric to the exposed hot melt resin layer, and hardening the hot melt resin layer by cooling the padding material and the hook-and-loop fabric to a temperature of 0-20° C.

SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING A SEAT COVER TO A SEAT BACK

A system for connecting a seat cover and a seat back is disclosed. The system may have a fastener strip with a sinusoidal shape that connects the cover to the seat back so that at least a portion the cover can be seamless over the fastener strip. The design of the fastener strip permits it to be hidden from view on an exterior of the cover.

The selected area features a three-dimensional contour that the flexible fastener sheet follows as bonded. A related flexible fastener product has a non-woven textile sheet and a resin layer secured to the textile sheet and carrying an array of discrete male touch fastener elements. The resin layer includes multiple parallel strips of resin, each resin strip carrying respective touch fastener elements, with each pair of adjacent strips separated by an exposed lane of the non-woven textile sheet.

A seat support is provided with a plurality of layers of a non-foam material to mount to a seat frame and to support an occupant upon the seat frame. The plurality of layers is stacked upon each other, and each of the plurality of stacked layers has a generally uniform thickness.

The present invention provides a seat which reduces the load applied to a first fastening part, is unlikely to cause wrinkles or slack in a surface cover, and makes surface sheet attachment and detachment simple. To this end, a first fastening part and a second fastening part of a seat are attachable and detachable; hence, it is possible to easily exchange a surface cover according to the season and to clean the surface cover. The second fastening part attachably/detachably connects the surface cover and the rear-surface cover to one another. As a result, the second fastening part appropriately reduces the load directly applied to the first fastening part, making it possible to prevent damage to the first fastening part, and making it unlikely for wrinkles or slack to occur in the surface cover. Furthermore, the second fastening part is the same color and hue at each suspended section; hence, aligning the surface sheet position is easy.

A fastening strip for touch fasteners is provided which includes a corrugated portion as well as fastening elements. The corrugated portion allows the strip to be bent in a plane perpendicular as well as parallel with the longitudinal axis of the strip such that it may be applied to curved surfaces and remain substantially flat. Fastening elements such as hooks, loops, mushroom-shaped, bulbous and double hooks may be included on both sides of the strip and on the walls of the channels that form the corrugations as well as between the corrugations. The corrugated fastening strips may be useful for automotive seating and diaper applications. Processes for forming the corrugated fastening strip area also disclosed.
