The front part (200) and the back part (100) with integrated lateral parts (104) are formed in a complementary manner such that when they are assembled together, a closed space is formed in which a U-shaped curved support rod (300) can be inserted.
INTEGRAL SKIN FOAM MOLDED ARTICLE
An integral skin foam molded article includes: a skin formed by sewing a plurality of skin pieces in a hag shape; and a resin foam which is molded inside the skin integrally with the skin, wherein: at least one skin piece among the plurality of skin pieces has a surface material made of a natural leather, and includes a wadding material stacked on a back side of the surface material in a non-surface joined state and a lining material stacked on the wadding material; and in a shrinkage rate with respect to an in-plane compression load, a shrinkage rate of the liming material is smaller than a shrinkage rate of the wadding material.
PADDING FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
The invention relates to a padding for a motor vehicle seat having a sheet for measuring multizone pressure. The sheet has a flexible support layer, with a first electrode having first contact elements, a second electrode having second contact elements and a plurality of intermediate contact elements having piezoresistive properties, each of the intermediate elements being inserted between a first and a second element to form a plurality of pressure sensors. The support layer is made of mesh. The first electrode is made from conductive ink printed on the support layer. The second electrode is made from printed conductive ink, and the intermediate contact elements are made from printed conductive ink with less conductivity than the inks of the electrodes.
HOT MELT TAPE FOR VELCRO WITHOUT SEWING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SEAT PADDING MATERIAL FOR VEHICLES USING THE SAME
Disclosed are a hot melt tape for hook-and-loop fasteners without sewing which may be adhered at a low temperature and complete hardening of an adhesive resin in a short time and a method for manufacturing a seat padding material for vehicles using the same. The method includes preparing the padding material and a hook-and-loop fabric, preparing a hot melt tape having a hot melt resin layer by coating a surface of a release paper with a reactive hot melt resin having a melting point of 40-80° C. before reacting, adhering the hot melt tape to a surface of the padding material by applying heat of a temperature of 30-70° C. and pressure thereto, removing the release paper, adhering the hook-and-loop fabric to the exposed hot melt resin layer, and hardening the hot melt resin layer by cooling the padding material and the hook-and-loop fabric to a temperature of 0-20° C.
Fibrous foam architecture
A cushion having a fibrous foam architecture. The cushion has a trim cover and a number of fibrous layers attached to the trim cover. One or more structural properties of a fibrous layer can be controlled to differ from that of other layers.
ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED CUSHION COMPONENT
A cushion component includes a lattice matrix having a first section comprised of a plurality of 3D cells. Each 3D cell of the plurality of 3D cells of the first section of the lattice matrix includes a face-centered cubic geometry. A second section of the lattice matrix is positioned below the first section and includes a plurality of 3D cells. Each 3D cell of the plurality of 3D cells of the second section of the lattice matrix includes a body-centered cubic geometry. The first section and the second section of the lattice matrix are integrated to define a monolithic structure comprised of a common material.
Seat upholstery system
The present disclosure relates to an upholstery system for a vehicle seat, comprising: a foam lining comprising a front face and a rear face, a flexible covering which covers the front face of the foam lining, a rigid part which covers the rear face of the foam lining, at least one series of attachment systems, which are received as inserts in the foam lining, the attachment systems of the series being interconnected by at least one ball joint, and wherein the attachment systems are configured to ensure the attachment of the covering and of the rigid part onto the foam lining.
LAMINATED MOLDED BODY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A method for manufacturing a laminated molded body includes a cutting-out step for cutting out a cushion layer to form a cut-out part; a base material laminating step for forming a first laminated body; an insulating material placing step of attaching an insulating material to the cut-out part; a first thermocompression bonding step for bonding the first laminated body by thermocompression; a removing step for removing the cut-out part to form an opening; a skin laminating step for forming a second laminated body; and a second thermocompression bonding step for bonding the skin at the opening part to the lower layer material by bonding the second laminated body by thermocompression, the lower layer material being arranged below the cushion layer having the opening part.
VEHICLE SEAT CONTAINING FIBER COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND EXPANDED THERMOPLASTICS
The invention relates to a seat for a vehicle, preferably for a land craft, a watercraft, and/or an aircraft, comprising at least one multilayer structural component (1) with at least one first (6) and at least one second ply (5) of a composite material, in each case containing fibers which are integrated into a thermoplastic, and with a layer (7) which is arranged between said plies and is made of at least one foamed thermoplastic; to a method for producing same, said method having at least the following steps (A): providing at least one first and at least one second ply of a composite material, in each case containing fibers which are integrated into a thermoplastic, (B) thermoforming the first ply of composite material into a lower seat shell, (C) thermoforming the second ply of composite material into an upper seat shell, (D) arranging the lower seat shell and the upper seat shell in a tool, such that a gap is formed between the two seat shells, (E) introducing foamed particles made of a thermoplastic into the gap, and (F) pressing the two seats shells and the foamed particles in order to obtain the seat; and to the use of the seat in a vehicle, preferably in a land craft, a watercraft, and/or an aircraft.
