DOOR-TRIM PANEL HAVING COLLAPSIBLE RIBS AND GROOVES
A door-trim panel for a vehicle includes an armrest and a top roll extending upwardly from the armrest to an upper end. The upper end has an inboard portion and an outboard portion and the upper end is elongated along a longitudinal axis. The top roll includes pairs of ribs spaced from each other along the longitudinal axis. The pairs of ribs include an inboard rib extending from the inboard portion toward the outboard portion to an outboard end. The pairs of ribs include an outboard rib adjacent to and spaced from the inboard rib of that pair. The outboard rib extends from the outboard portion toward the inboard portion to an inboard end of the outboard rib. The inboard ribs and outboard ribs are elongated transverse to the longitudinal axis. The inboard end and the outboard end are spaced from the inboard portion of the top roll.
Vehicle interior component
A vehicle interior component is disclosed. The component may comprise a cover moveable relative to a base and a latch mechanism to provide an unlatched state for the cover and a latched state when actuated by an external/inertia force (e.g. in an event such as a rollover). The latch mechanism may comprise a latch/member extending through an opening in the cover into the base when the cover is closed and retracted into the cover when the cover is open. When the cover is closed, the latch mechanism may provide an unlatched state with the latch in an intermediate position (for an occupant's ordinary use) and a latched state with the latch fully extended to engage a catch in the base (upon the event providing the external force to prevent the cover opening). The component may comprise a console providing a storage compartment or an armrest.
Armrest assembly for vehicle and door assembly having slidable armrest for vehicle
A door assembly includes a door panel including a metallic plate material, a lower trim attached to the door panel, and an armrest installed on top of the lower trim and configured to be slidable in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle. The door assembly further includes a base fixedly installed on the top of the lower trim, a slider positioned on top of the base, wherein the armrest is coupled to a top of the slider, and a guide fixedly installed on the base and configured to penetrate the slider.
Palm rest assemblies, console assemblies, and vehicles incorporating the same
A palm rest assembly includes a palm rest bracket and a palm rest pad. The palm rest assembly is for a console assembly of a vehicle. The center console assembly includes a console frame. The palm rest bracket includes a generally C-shape. The palm rest bracket includes a base wall, a side wall, and an upper wall. The base wall is mounted to the console frame. The side wall extends between the base wall and the upper wall such that the upper wall is cantilevered. The palm rest pad is coupled to the upper wall.
Pillow device
A pillow device couples to a vehicle interior to provide enhanced comfort to a user's elbow while driving. The device includes a substantially cylindrical cover having a cylindrical medial portion and a pair of hemispherical ends. The cover has a planar section parallel to a longitudinal axis of the cover. Stuffing is positioned within the cover. A first fastener is coupled to the cover wherein the cover is configured for being coupled to a surface of an interior side of a vehicle door.
ARMREST FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An armrest (1) for a motor vehicle has a vehicle-side support (3). An armrest element (5) is arranged on an upper side of the support (3) and is designed to be adjustable relative to the support (3) The armrest (1) has a further functional element arranged on the upper side of the support (3) at a distance from the armrest element (5) and is designed to be adjustable relative to the support (3).
VEHICLE SEAT AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle body including a side body component and a transverse body component, and a vehicle seat attached to the each of the side and transverse body components. The vehicle seat includes a seat main frame including an attached seat back, a side member attached to the seat main frame, the side member defining an outboard bolster for the seat back and an armrest, and a seat base attached to the seat main frame. A first connection bracket is secured to the transverse body component adjacent an outboard side edge portion of the seat back, and the outboard bolster of the side member is connected to the first connection bracket. A second connection bracket is secured to the side body component and extended toward the seat main frame, and the armrest of the side member is connected to the second connection bracket.
RETRACTABLE SHELF SYSTEM ADAPTED FOR USE WITH A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR
A retractable shelf system for use with a motor vehicle is provided. The retractable shelf system includes a microcontroller, a rail assembly operably disposed within a door of the motor vehicle and in operable communication with the microcontroller, which is configured to control the rail assembly, and a retractable shelf including a hinge assembly that is operably coupled to the rail assembly and in operable communication with the microcontroller for moving the retractable shelf from a stowed configuration disposed within the door of the motor vehicle to an un-stowed configuration disposed outside of the door of the motor vehicle, wherein in the un-stowed configuration the retractable shelf is rotatable from a vertical configuration to a horizontal configuration.

ADJUSTABLE ARMREST
An armrest for a vehicle includes an armrest element and a floating support assembly configured for selectively pivoting the armrest element in a vehicle-fore and -aft motion. The floating support assembly includes at least one vertically translatable support arm pivotally attached to the armrest element. The at least one vertically translatable support arm may be operatively supported by a resilient member.
