VEHICLE FOR TRANSPORTING PASSENGERS HAVING A VARIABLE NUMBER OF SEATS
A passenger transport vehicle includes a system configured to vary the number of available seating places in accordance with the level of passenger traffic to be transported. The system has a mechanical support structure having a fixed part and a movable part movable between a first position in which the mechanical support structure forms a seating place, and a second position in which the seating place is unavailable for seating. The mechanical support structure includes a covering surface connected to and disposed around a portion of the movable part. The covering surface includes two rigid portions and a deformable portion. One rigid portion forms a seating surface when the movable part is in the first position, while both rigid portions and the deformable portion form an ischiatic support surface when the movable part is in the second position.
OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT WITH CONVERTER SEATED AND STANDING OPERATOR POSITIONS
An outdoor power equipment having sitting configuration and standing configuration is presented herein. The outdoor power equipment can be transformed from the sitting configuration to the standing configuration and vice versa, allowing an operator to use the outdoor power equipment in either a sitting position or standing position. The sitting position can place the operator at least in part forward of a drive axis of the outdoor power equipment, whereas the standing position can place the operator at least in part coincident with or behind the drive axis. The outdoor power equipment can be electric powered in some aspects, with modular and replaceable battery packs.
Bus handrail and bus vehicle interior structure
A bus handrail provided in a vehicle interior of a bus in a shape of “L” as viewed in a vehicle width direction has, in an installed state thereof, a first grip portion extending in a vehicle vertical direction, a second grip portion extending backward with respect to a vehicle continuously from a lower part of the first grip portion, a third grip portion extending upward with respect to the vehicle continuously from the second grip portion, and a fourth grip portion extending backward with respect to the vehicle continuously from the third grip portion. Besides, in a bus vehicle interior structure equipped with the bus handrail and a seat provided on a rear wall side in the vehicle interior and in which a passenger sits in a half-standing posture, part of the fourth grip portion is arranged outside the seat in the vehicle width direction.
SUSPENSION COMPONENT
A suspension component (730), including: an elastomeric component top member (832); an elastomeric component bottom member (830); and a plurality of elastomeric zig-zag columnar elements (800). The elastomeric zig-zag columnar elements connect the elastomeric component top member to the elastomeric component bottom member and are separated from each other by a gap (806).
Rail vehicle having a passenger area equipped with a perch seat and table assembly
A rail vehicle is provided with an open passenger space equipped with a perch seat assembly. The perch seat assembly includes a perch seat, a table, and a transition portion joining the table to the perch seat. The table has a horizontal working surface which extends from a wall so that at least a portion of the table extends in front of the perch seat. The transition surface provides a continuous surface between the perch seat surface and the table surface so as to provide a smooth transition.
Emergency vehicle patient transport systems
Emergency vehicle patient transport systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, an emergency vehicle patient transport system includes: a loading passage providing access to an interior of an emergency vehicle; one or more tracks coupled to a floor of the emergency vehicle, a ceiling of the emergency vehicle, a wall of the emergency vehicle or combinations thereof wherein, a travel path is delineated by the one or more tracks; and a chair slidingly engaged with the one or more tracks, and vertically positioned between the floor and the ceiling. The chair locks in one or more set positions. And, the one or more set positions are selected from a group consisting of an airway care position, an extended airway care position, a procedural care position, a responder position, a patient care position, and a patient load position.
SEAT ARRANGEMENT FOR A MEANS OF TRANSPORT
