ADAPTIVE SEAT COMFORT SYSTEM BASED ON PASSENGER-SEAT FIT DEGREE, AND ADJUSTMENT METHOD
A self-adaptive seat comfort system based on a fitness of occupant and seat, comprising an ECU control system, wherein the ECU control system is provided with a communication module, a microcontroller, a power supply module, a seat-occupant fitness detection module and a comfort adjustment module, where the seat-occupant fitness detection module and the comfort adjustment module are connected bidirectionally with the microcontroller through wires, and the microcontroller module is connected bidirectionally with the communication module through wires. Compared with the prior art, the present invention provides the self-adaptive seat comfort system and the adjustment method based on the fitness of occupant and seat, which can further realize intelligent dynamic adjustment, and adjust the supporting positions for various parts dynamically according to the degree of fitness of occupant and seat detected by the sensing circuit provided on the seat comfort system.
Method for Controlling Two or More Comfort Functions of a Vehicle and Vehicle Device
A method for controlling two or more comfort functions of a vehicle uses a controller, wherein a first comfort function is provided by a pneumatic massage system of a vehicle seat including one or more air cushions and an air supply system for individual air impingement of the one or more air cushions, and wherein a second comfort function is provided by an electromechanical vibration system of the vehicle seat independent from the pneumatic massage system and including one or more individually controllable electromechanical vibration devices. The method includes: analyzing a provided audio or video file taking the provided comfort functions into account; orchestrating the audio or video file by generating individual control signals for each comfort function the audio or video file after the analyzing; and synchronized transmitting the individual control signals to the corresponding comfort functions, whereby each comfort function is controlled by an individually assigned one of the individual control signals.
VEHICLE OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM
A vehicle occupant detection system includes at least one weight sensing pad, at least one infrared sensor, and at least one motion sensor disposed within an automobile. Each of the at least one weight sensing pad, the at least one infrared sensor, and the at least one motion sensor is in operational communication with each of a battery and a computer system of the automobile. The computer system is configured to activate at least one of a horn, an alarm, an engine, at least one power window, a wireless communication with a remotely disposed fob, a wireless text communication with a remotely disposed personal electronic device, and a cellular communication with an emergency responder when at least one of the at least one infrared sensor, the at least one of the weight sensing pad, and the at least one motion sensor detects a passenger disposed within the vehicle.
Child Transportation System
A child transportation system is disclosed. The system includes a seating component and various other modules. The system can check whether a seating component is located in a vehicle, whether the seating component is a proper component given the weight and height of the child in the seat, that the seating component is properly secured in the vehicle, and that the system is operating correctly. The system can monitor various conditions of the seat and the environment, and can provide alarms to users when cheks are not completed or dangerous environmental conditions are present, or when a child is left behind in a vehicle.
TECHNOLOGY AND METHODS OF ON-BOARD VEHICLE OCCUPANT ACCURATE WEIGHING BY A SIMPLIFIED WEIGHING APPARATUS BASED ON WEIGHING MODERATOR AND ITS APPLICATIONS IN ON-BOARD OCCUPANT WEIGHING SYSTEMS
An on-board vehicle occupant weighing technology includes a simplified vehicle occupant weighing apparatus based on the discovered horwest effect and weighing moderator. The simplified weighing apparatus utilizes a weighing unit connected to the car seat of the vehicle occupant and a further weighing moderator, which provides convenient weighing of the foot part of the occupant's body by the same weighing unit that is connected to the car seat. The technology employs several methods of the weight measurements provided by different moderator approaches. The technology, methods, and simplified weighing apparatus are employed in on-board vehicle overweight and obesity preventing system wherein a weight trend analyzer provides predicting possibility of the occupant's overweight or obesity in a short predetermined period of time and automatically warning a vehicle occupant and a health care provider of the condition. The technology may also provide an accurate and convenient occupant's weight measurement in the vehicle safety devices such as seat belt and air bag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS system) to improve the Occupant Classification System to prevent possible extra force applied to the occupant's body in case of collision.
Load detection sensor unit
A load detection sensor unit includes: a load detection sensor which includes a pair of electrodes facing each other with a predetermined gap interposed therebetween and a metal plate covering at least a part of one electrode; and a pressing member that includes a pressing portion pressed against a sheet cushion of a seat device and harder than the sheet cushion, and the pair of electrodes contacts each other when the metal plate is bent in a case in which the pressing portion presses a part of the metal plate.
SYSTEM FOR SMART CHILD SEAT VEHICLE INTEGRATION
A system for a vehicle comprises a controller, programmed to output a warning to a registered mobile device via a server over a wireless network, responsive to a safety event indicative of a child being left in the vehicle in a dangerous condition triggered responsive to detection of presence of the child in a car seat and failure to receive confirmation that an adult occupant is still in the vehicle.
VEHICULAR OCCUPANCY ASSESSMENT
Systems, devices, and techniques are provided for occupancy assessment of a vehicle. For one or more occupants of the vehicle, the occupancy assessment establishes position and/or identity for some or all of the occupant(s).
VEHICLE OCCUPANCY ALERTING SYSTEM
A vehicle occupancy alerting system for alerting a driver of a passenger positioned in a seat of a car includes a vehicle and a plurality of seats mounted within the vehicle. The plurality of seats includes a back seat. An occupant warning system is mounted on the vehicle and warns a driver of the vehicle that a person is on the back seat when the vehicle has been turned off.
