Unloader apparatus for the Beds of Various Trucks and Associated Methods
The present invention relates to an apparatus and methods of removing material from the bed of a truck, for example, the bed of a pick-up track, The apparatus is an unloader apparatus the has both a bed part and an external part, the bed part designed to be used in the bed of the pick-up truck and the external part designed to be used to move the bed part. The bed part is substantially flat and the external part usually consists of lines that can be moved by means of a force provided by a winch, a moving truck or by some other means.
TRAILER SYSTEMS
A trailer system for hauling material. The trailer system including a frame and a container attached to the frame. A lid is operatively associated with a first aperture and adapted to at least move between an open position and a closed position. When in the closed position the lid seals the first aperture such that the seal is watertight. A gate is operatively associated with a second aperture and adapted to at least move between an open position and a closed position. When in the closed position the gate seals the second aperture such that the seal is watertight. A pusher plate assembly is arranged with the container for pushing material contained in the container in a direction towards the second aperture.
LOADING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LATERALLY LOADING AND UNLOADING AN UPPER BODY STRUCTURE ONTO AND FROM A VEHICLE PLATFORM OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A loading system for laterally loading and unloading an upper body structure onto and from a vehicle platform includes loading gear rails mounted on respective lengthwise ends of the vehicle platform, the loading gear rails configured to jointly extend and retract from the vehicle platform by moving in a lateral direction of the vehicle platform, each loading gear rail having first gear teeth gear-engaging with a correspondingly formed platform gear wheel rotatably mounted on the vehicle platform and second gear teeth configured to engage a correspondingly formed upper body gear wheel at a respective lengthwise end of the upper body structure, wherein the platform gear wheel actuates lateral movement of the loading gear rails to engage the upper body structure with the loading gear rails at the upper body gear wheels and to load the engaged upper body structure onto the vehicle platform or to load and unload the engaged upper body structure from the vehicle platform.
DUMPING-BODY ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN A HAULAGE VEHICLE
A dumping-body for use a haulage vehicle. The dumping body is pivotally mounted to a carrier on the vehicle. An ejecting unit moves an ejector in the dump body to unload a payload. A pivoting unit on the vehicle pivots the dump body relative to the carrier between a stowage end position and an unloading end position. The pivoting unit pivots the dump body relative to the carrier by a maximum pivot angle of not more than 40° to positioning the dump body from a stowage end position into an unloading end position.
AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLE, SYSTEM FOR SORTING CARGO AND METHOD THEREOF
An automated guided vehicle, a system for sorting cargo, and a method of sorting cargo using the same are provided. The system for sorting cargo according to an embodiment includes an automated guided vehicle, a cargo supply unit, a plurality of cargo sorting units, a supply control unit configured to load the plurality of pieces of cargo supplied from the cargo supply unit into the plurality of cargo loading units of the automated guided vehicle, a transport control unit configured to transport the pieces of cargo to each cargo sorting unit while controlling a movement path of the automated guided vehicle into which the plurality of pieces of cargo are loaded; and a discharge control unit configured to discharge at least one piece of cargo transported through the automated guided vehicle to each cargo sorting unit to sort the at least one piece of cargo.
DELIVERY VEHICLE HAVING A PACKAGE POSITIONING SYSTEM
A delivery vehicle having a cargo area and a package positioning system that includes a moveable panel. The moveable panel may move a package in the cargo area. In at least one configuration, the panel may be mounted to first and second cassettes that are moveably disposed in first and second rails.
SELECTIVELY IMPLEMENTING AUTOMATED CLEANING ROUTINES DURING UNLOADING CYCLES FOR TRANSPORT VEHICLES
A system and method are provided for automated cleaning of a loading container of a transport vehicle (e.g., dump truck, ejector, scraper), wherein the loading container includes controllable elements (e.g., hydraulic lift cylinders for a truck bin, an ejector blade) for transitioning between loaded and unloaded states. Characteristics of carryback material remaining in the loading container are estimated during a detected unloaded state of the transport vehicle, wherein whether to initiate an automated cleaning stage is determined based on at least one of the estimated characteristics. Upon determining to initiate the automated cleaning stage, performance of a cleaning routine is automatically directed during or in association with an unloading stage for the loading container via the controllable elements. The elements are controlled during the cleaning routine in accordance with a severity level selected from among various progressively increasing severity levels based on at least one of the estimated characteristics.
Material handling system for facilitating selective material movement and methods for employing such a system
A system and method are provided for facilitating selective delivery of aggregate material in bulk from a back of a dump truck or other truck bed to one or more wheelbarrows in a controlled manner. The disclosed embodiments further provide a system that could be operated by a single individual, including the single individual that is then manually moving the wheelbarrow from the truck to the particular location of the delivery site where the aggregate material is to be finally dispensed. The disclosed systems provide a self-contained mechanical device that is comparatively-easily mountable to the back of a dump truck or other truck bed for use, and is electrically, or electric over hydraulically, powered through the electrical system of the vehicle in order to avoid any need for additional power requirements.
Moving headboard trailer ejector and floor cleaning apparatus
The present invention relates to a detachably attachable moving headboard trailer ejector and floor cleaning apparatus for use with a self-unloading trailer having a front end, a rear end, side walls, and either a reciprocating slat conveyor floor or a conveyor belt floor. The invention comprises, in one embodiment, a base, a panel sweeper, one or more panel sweeper support members, a means for traversing the panel sweeper, a tether bar, side flanges, and a base flange. In use, the invention is placed in the front end of a self-unloading trailer and the trailer is loaded with material; when material is ejected from the trailer, the invention transverses or “travels” along the top of the moving floor and pushes the material out of the trailer's back end. The rubber flanges ensure a snug fit within the trailer and keep post ejection residual material at a minimum.
