VEHICLE COMPRISING A CONTROLLED VERTICAL POSITION CHASSIS, IN ORDER TO BE LOWERED INTO A LOW POSITION SUPPORTED ON THE GROUND
A vehicle including a controlled vertical position chassis, in order to be able to be moved into a low position supported on the ground, and, associated with each wheel, a suspension arm, an arm actuator, and a safety device capable of limiting the accidental lowering of the chassis, the device being able to adopt an active state wherein the rotation of the suspension arm can be limited, the device including an actuator, a cylinder of which is mounted on the chassis and a piston of which is mounted on the suspension arm, or vice versa, the actuator defining a first chamber connected to a first and a second fluid passage through the cylinder, the second passage being connected to a first fluid pipe fitted with a safety valve.
Rear Axle Movement Device for Truck with Lowerable Bed
Provided is a rear movement device for a truck with lowerable bed, comprising: a front axle, a driver's cab, a rear axle, a cargo container, a sub-frame, a first lifting device, a second lifting device, a first guiding device, a first sub-frame driving element and a second sub-frame driving element.
DROP DECK TRAILER
The application discloses a Drop Deck Trailer having a pivoting axle system that allows the deck of the trailer to be incrementally lowered to the ground. When coupled to a tow vehicle, the partially lowered deck becomes a ramp to load and unload a vehicle. The unloaded trailer can be backed into a standard garage, uncoupled, and lowered completely to the ground. The UTV or light vehicle can then be front-loaded on the trailer. This capability allows the convenience and cost savings of simultaneously storing a UTV or other light vehicle in the same standard garage space. A unique articulated tongue assembly allows the operator to minimize the footprint of the parked trailer, allowing smaller spaces to be used for storage or simply eliminate a trip hazard. The Drop Deck Trailer is a combination of innovative features that provides convenience and cost savings.
Industrial Truck for Transporting Containers on a Support Frame
Disclosed herein concerns an industrial truck for transporting a container on a support frame including a vehicle frame with height-adjustable wheel suspensions and engagement means for fixing a support frame which can be picked up by the industrial truck. Further disclosed herein is a self-supporting support frame suitable to interact with the industrial truck.
Rear Axle Movement Device for Truck with Lowerable Bed
Provided is a rear axle movement device for a truck with a lowerable bed, comprising: a front axle, a driver's cab, a rear axle, a cargo container, a sub-frame, a first lifting device, a second lifting device, a first guiding device, a second guiding device, and an electric motor. According to the present invention, the rear axle movement device utilizes a chain and a sprocket.
LOWERING SUSPENSION
A vehicle lowering system having a cargo surface with an adjacent pivoting arm is connected to a vehicle at a pivot point. The pivoting arm moves between a raised and a lowered position by an actuator that is affixed to a frame and the pivoting arm. The frame has an upper portion and a lower portion that provides structure for the portion of the frame that is beyond the pivot point and actuator. The pivot arm has a spindle that holds and allows a wheel to rotate. The spindle has an axis that is always located above the cargo surface. The actuator is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. When the actuator moves between the extended and retracted position, the pivoting arm moves the vehicle between a raised and a lowered position.
SELF-PROPELLED VEHICLE FOR HANDLING GLASS-SHEET SUPPORTING RACKS
A self-propelled vehicle for handling glass-sheet supporting racks of the type comprising: a front rack-supporting chassis provided with a substantially U-shaped rigid oblong frame having two longitudinal beams that extend horizontally and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, on opposite sides of the vehicle midplane, and that delimit a large central slit or compartment open at the front and dimensioned to accommodate a glass-sheet supporting rack; a rear tractor unit which is firmly connected to the front rack-supporting chassis via mechanical means allowing the rack-supporting chassis to move vertically with respect to the tractor unit; a lifting apparatus Adapted to vary, on command, the height from the ground of the rigid oblong frame of the rack-supporting chassis; and an electronic vehicle-load detecting apparatus which is adapted to detect the geometric and/or structural features of the glass-sheet supporting rack during insertion into the central slit or compartment of the rack-supporting chassis.
Hydraulic drop frame trailer
A hydraulic drop frame trailer for a tow vehicle, the hydraulic drop frame trailer including a trailer frame having two sides and a hitch, a pair of wheels, a first and second frame bracket, a trailer bed mounted over the trailer frame, a first and second pivoting hydraulic cylinder, a plurality of hydraulic hoses, a first and second pivoting arm, an operating station connected to a power supply, a first and second axle-less wheel mount with independent suspension mechanism mounted to the first and second pivoting arm, and a plurality of safety locks, each securing an arm to the trailer frame for locking each rotating arm to the trailer bed during transport.
Suspension system and rotary tongue lever system for use with a towable trailer
A system for positioning a trailer body with the trailer support surface at ground level. The system comprises one or more suspension systems for controlling the position of wheels on either side of the trailer body and a rotary tongue system that allows the trailer tongue to rotate relative to the trailer body.
Higher Capacity Vehicle Trailer
Systems and methods are provided for designing and loading a higher capacity enclosed trailer. The higher capacity trailer includes a trailer floor including at least two sections. The at least two sections include a first section located at a first end of the high capacity trailer and having a first height, and a second section located at a second end of the high capacity vehicle trailer opposite the first end, the second section having a second height different from the first height. The higher capacity trailer includes an adjustable platform positioned at the first section. The adjustable platform is configured to receive at least one loaded pallet unit, and slide a predetermined length of the first section towards the first end, such that additional space is generated for at least another loaded pallet unit on the first section.
