A vehicle intelligent lifting system, configured to be mounted to a vehicle body including a Controller Area Network (CAN) bus, is provided, including: a control module, in communication with the CAN bus, configured to obtain a signal from the CAN bus; a lifting device, in communication with the control module; wherein the control module determines whether to control the lifting device to operate according to vehicle information from the CAN bus.

System and method to detect and avoid spilled cargo

A system to detect and avoid spilled cargo in an automobile vehicle, includes an automobile vehicle rear cargo area including a floor to temporarily receive a storage item in the cargo area. A lift gate is moved between a closed and latched position and a fully open position inclusive to allow loading and removal of the storage item. A vision system identifies the storage item when initially loaded in the cargo area and identifies if the storage item is initially positioned in a cargo spill position or subsequently moves to the cargo spill position. A cargo stop device is releasably connected to the lift gate. An operating system releasably stores the cargo stop device when the storage item is not in the cargo spill position and deploys the cargo stop device when the storage item is in the cargo spill position.

A transportation vessel includes a sidewall having a vertically oriented track on an interior side of the sidewall. The track extends upwardly to a top of the sidewall. A load bar has end(s) coupled to the track such that the end of the load bar is vertically slidable along the track. A stop bracket is positioned at a top of the track. The stop bracket includes a track extension and a stop piece. The track extension accommodates sliding of the load bar upwardly above the track. The stop piece blocks upward sliding of the load bar above the track extension.

Liftgate alert apparatus
11065999 · 2021-07-20 ·

A liftgate alert apparatus for alerting drivers when a liftgate is down before driving includes a pressure switch configured to be coupled to an air line of an airbrake system of a truck or a trailer. The pressure switch is closed when the airbrake system is activated. A roller switch is in operational communication with the pressure switch and is configured to be coupled to a liftgate. The roller switch is closed when the liftgate is in a down position. An alarm is in operational communication with the pressure switch, the roller switch, and a power source. The alarm has an alarm ground wire. The alarm is configured to be coupled within a cab of the truck or on a front end of the trailer and activates an audio and or visual alert when both the pressure switch and the roller switch are closed.
