Device for deep decontamination of persons
The present invention relates to a device for decontaminating persons, having a container having at least one decontamination shower, the container having at least one panel defined in an opening in one of the vertical walls of the container, the panel being mounted to pivot around a horizontal hinge which joins an upper edge of the panel to the container so as to be movable between a first position in which the panel extends substantially vertically and closes off the opening, and a second position in which the panel extends substantially horizontally and forms a ceiling covering a sheltered surface. The decontamination device also includes walls capable of closing off the sheltered surface to form at least one portion of the decontamination device.
Device system for military and/or humanitarian operations, in particular a mobile decontamination system
A device system for military and/or humanitarian operations, in particular a mobile decontamination system, comprises a plurality of power-operated units, accessory parts and operating supplies, which together determine a functional scope of the device system. The power-operated units, accessory parts and operating supplies are mounted on a base plate by means of a retaining structure, said base plate having a defined placement surface and anchoring elements. The anchoring elements enable detachable anchoring of the base plate together with the retaining structure to a transport means, in particular to a transport vehicle. The retaining structure is formed from a plurality of self-supporting, structurally identical, cuboid-shaped frames, which are arranged next to each other and/or on top of each other and are fastened to the base plate. The frames each have eight corner pieces and twelve edge profile elements, which together enclose a defined storage volume. The power-operated units, accessory parts and operating supplies are arranged in the defined storage volumes and, preferably, at least the majority of the power-operated units and operating supplies are retained in the frames even during operation of the device system.
Mobile Disaster Survival System
The present invention is a complete mobile disaster survival system which provides a standalone survival package containing three or more electrical power sources, food and water for four people for five days, a potable water purification and storage means, a means for food storage and preparation, an emergency broadcast radio set, and immediately accessible survival tools, as well as first aid and other equipment. Energy storage devices and sensitive electronic equipment are protected by hydrogen vent fans and Faraday cages. The small footprint allows the system to be pre-located at individual homes or businesses, or rapidly deployed from distribution centers by either manpower, automobile, en masse by semitrailer, or by an airdrop system. The unique advantage of the present invention is the combination of all aspects of emergency survival needs in a compact transportable system.
Mobile environmental analysis lab and method to expedite test results
A fully equipped mobile laboratory, processes and methods for producing rapid, on-site determinations and reports documenting the presence/absence and quantity of environmentally hazardous materials common to construction or other projects in accordance with regulatory requirements.
AIRCRAFT RETRIEVAL
A process for aircraft retrieval and aircraft crash site remediation may include establishing a perimeter at an aircraft crash site. The process may include containing wreckage in a containment unit that is adapted to prevent release of hazardous materials into the environment. The wreckage may include wreckage of an aircraft from the aircraft crash site. The process may include washing at least some of the wreckage in a decontamination unit. The process may include packaging the washed wreckage in a container.
Mobile unit for thorough wet decontamination of persons
The invention relates to a mobile decontamination unit for thorough wet decontamination of persons, having a generally rectangular parallelepiped shape with a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis. The unit comprises a technical module and at least one shower module, which are adjacent to one another in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The unit also comprises a first retractable extension of the shower module in the direction of the transverse axis, on one side of said shower module, and/or a second retractable extension of the shower module in said direction of the transverse axis, on the other side of said shower module. The shower module and the one or more extensions comprise a decontamination line for persons for the circulation, in the direction of the transverse axis, of persons to be decontaminated by showering in the shower module.
Emergency deployment of a drone-based flood control system
Dewatering systems and methods for use in response to emergencies and disasters. The system includes an autonomous vehicle including or transporting a dewatering device. In response to information about a water-related disaster at a specific location, the system will instruct the vehicle to travel to the location, enter a building, and initiate a series of dewatering cycles in the interior space of the building. The vehicle can navigate from room to room and determine whether fluid content levels exceed a specified threshold. In response, the vehicle can direct its dewatering operation to these specific zones.
Transportable carbon dioxide capture device and method
A transportable carbon dioxide capture device includes a container configured to be attached to a vehicle. The container includes an air intake in fluid communication with ambient air. There is a carbon dioxide sorbent positioned within the container, a carbon dioxide compressor positioned within the container and in fluid communication with the carbon dioxide sorbent, and a carbon dioxide storage container positioned within the container and in fluid communication with the carbon dioxide compressor.
