VEHICULAR LAMP AND VEHICLE
A front left lamp includes a housing, an outer cover covering an opening of the housing, and a millimeter-wave radar. The millimeter-wave radar includes an antenna unit and a communication circuit unit. The antenna unit includes a transmitting antenna and a receiving antenna. The communication circuit unit includes a transmission side RF circuit electrically connected to the transmitting antenna, a reception side RF circuit electrically connected to the receiving antenna, and a signal processing circuit configured to process a digital signal output from the reception side RF circuit. The antenna unit is provided inside the outer cover. The communication circuit unit is disposed in a space formed by the housing and the outer cover.
SMART ADAPTOR ASSEMBLY
A method and apparatus for a lighting assembly for a vehicle can include a housing assembly and a set of adaptors. Vehicles today are often limited to specific wiring harnesses or connection types based upon manufacturer. Each adaptor of the set of adaptors can include a different connection type. The adaptors are interchangeably connectable to the housing assembly in order to vary the connection type based upon the specific wiring harness or connection type of the particular vehicle.
External cladding component of or for a vehicle and vehicle comprising such an external cladding component
An external cladding component of or for a vehicle, by which information can be displayed, is disclosed. The cladding component has a base body with a first surface and a second surface, the second surface facing to the exterior of the cladding component, and an aperture running through the base body, and a light source providing a beam of light, wherein the light source is at least partially arranged within the aperture and protrudes the second surface, or the beam of light is running through the aperture, wherein the beam of light at least partially impinges on an illumination section provided by the second surface.
Vehicle trailer hitch illumination system
An illumination system configured to be attached to a rear of a vehicle with a tow hitch, and positioned to direct light towards the ground behind the vehicle and the tow hitch. The illumination system including a housing, a socket with differently shaped fingers for attachment to the housing in a proper orientation. An LED light is received in the socket for directing light rays in a first direction, and an inner lens is coupled to the LED, and configured to receive the light rays such that a flat portion of the lens directs some of the light rays substantially along the first direction and an angled portion of the lens directs some of the light rays in a second direction different from the first direction. A protective outer lens surrounds the inner lens, and includes transparent and opaque portions.
Vehicle having a rear light having a screen with tab with visible markings
A motor vehicle has a rear light to which a screen, which covers a light housing of the rear light is attached in the region of a water channel arranged or formed adjacent to a rear opening of the motor vehicle. Advantageously, the screen has a passage opening or a cutout that, in the mounted state of the screen, is occupied by a tab of the light housing of the rear light whose shape is complementary to that of the passage opening or the cutout of the screen. The marks relating to the rear light are applied to a tab surface of the tab, and/or are introduced into the tab surface, that is visible from outside the vehicle when the screen is in its mounted state.
Headlamp assembly for a vehicle body
The invention relates to a component group for a vehicle body, having a headlamp housing, which has at least one connecting portion integrally formed in one piece for connection to an adjoining body part, and a predetermined breaking point for separation of the connecting portion from a neighboring portion. To minimize both the repair costs in the event of a collision at low speed in the region of the headlamp and also the costs for production and assembly, it is provided according to the invention that the neighboring portion has connecting structures for connection to a joining part with which the connecting portion is replaceable after its separation.
MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING A REAR LIGHT
Vehicle headlight assembly having an ejectable and replaceable lightbulb
The present invention relates to an ejectable headlight device for replacement of one or more lightbulbs from the front of a vehicle. The lightbulb of the present invention has at least one lightbulb pin, an ejector, a base that houses the ejector and has at least one guide for receiving the lightbulb pin. The device has a release arm that engages the lightbulb pin. The device further includes a pivot point and a pull attached to the release arm. When the release arm secures the lightbulb pin to the base, the device is in the locked position. When the pull engages the release arm to put the device in the unlocked position, it allows the release arm to pivot about the pivot point and disengage the lightbulb pin. The present invention further includes methods, kits and systems utilizing same.
Vehicle Headlight Device Having An Ejectable And Replaceable Lightbulb Assembly
The present invention relates to an ejectable headlight device for replacement of a lightbulb assembly from the front of a vehicle. The lightbulb assembly of the present invention has at least one lightbulb pin, a lightbulb base, a replaceable electromagnetic radiation source, an electrical connector, and a replaceable lens. The ejectable headlight device includes an ejector, a base that houses the ejector and has at least one guide for receiving the lightbulb pin. The device has a release arm that engages the lightbulb pin. The device further includes a pivot point and a pull attached to the release arm. When the release arm secures the lightbulb pin to the base, the device is in the locked position. When the pull engages the release arm to put the device in the unlocked position, the release arm pivots about the pivot point and disengages the lightbulb pin.
