VEHICLE TRIM ASSEMBLY
A trim assembly for a vehicle is provided herein. The trim assembly includes a substrate and a housing forming a cavity therebetween. A conductive layer is coupled to the housing and has first and second portions each including an electrically conductive material. The first portion is separated from the second portion by an electrically insulative gap.
VEHICLE SURFACE DISINFECTANT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A vehicle surface disinfectant system includes a lighting module having at least one ultra-violet (UV) light element and at least one visible light element. The UV light element(s) and the visible light element(s) may be at least partially separately electrically actuated for the visible light element(s) to emit visible light while the UV light element(s) is off. The lighting module may be inserted into a lighting receptacle in an interior of a vehicle.
DISINFECTION SYSTEM FOR A MOTORIZED VEHICLE
The invention relates to a disinfection system for a motorized vehicle comprising at least one disinfectant light emitting device mounted in a vehicle cabin and arranged to emit disinfectant light rays towards internal surfaces of the vehicle cabin so as to sanitize them, first sensor means adapted to sense the presence of a human or an animal inside the vehicle cabin and providing a first sensing signal indicating no presence, and a controller operatively connected to the at least one disinfectant light emitting device and the first sensor means, the controller receiving the first sensing signal, wherein the controller is adapted to operate the at least one disinfectant light emitting device in response to the first sensing signal.
LIGHT CONVERSION SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES
A light assembly may comprise: a light array comprising a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs), each light emitting diode (LED) configured to emit an electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength, the wavelength of each LED being different, a first LED in the light array configured to emit a first wavelength between 414 nm and 474 nm; and a non-linear optical layer disposed adjacent to the first LED, the nonlinear optical layer configured to output the first wavelength and a second wavelength, the second wavelength being between 207 nm and 237 nm.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING AND MONITORING UV ILLUMINATION IN AN INTERIOR OF AN AIRCRAFT
A system for providing and monitoring UV illumination in an interior of an aircraft includes at least one switchable UV light source; a light detector, responsive to visible light and UV light and configured for providing sensor outputs regarding detected light; and a controller for monitoring an operational status of the at least one switchable UV light source. The controller is configured to determine the operational status of the at least one switchable UV light source by comparing a first sensor output, provided by the light detector when the at least one switchable UV light source is activated, with a second sensor output, provided by the light detector when the at least one switchable UV light source is deactivated.
