ROAD VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH A REPRODUCTION DEVICE FOR THE REALIZATION OF A SOUND THAT CAN BE ASSOCIATED WITH AN ELECTRIC MOTOR AND RELATED METHOD
Road vehicle comprising at least one electric motor; an acoustic system, which comprises at least one reproduction device, which generates a sound that can be associated with the electric motor; wherein the electric motor is mechanically connected to the reproduction device so as to be able to excite a resonant frequency thereof; and a control unit configured to control the electric motor so as to inject at least one sonority current or voltage, as an input, to the electric motor itself; wherein said at least one sonority current or voltage excites a frequency resulting in a vibration of said at least one reproduction device, which emits, due to the vibration, in the form of acoustic waves, a sound as a function of the injected sonority current or voltage.
Motor Vehicle Having an Acoustic Device for Generating and Capturing Acoustic Waves
A motor vehicle includes an acoustic device configured to generate and capture acoustic waves, the acoustic device includes a vehicle part having a vibration region, and an actuator arranged thereon and configured to for excitation and detection of vibrations of the vehicle part in the vibration region, wherein the region is modified compared to an adjacent region of the vehicle part and has greater sensitivity to excitations in the frequency range of the acoustic wave.
EXTERNAL LIGHTING EFFECTS FOR A VEHICLE
Examples of the disclosure relate to example devices and methods for a lighting system for a non-internal-combustion-engine (non-ICE) powered vehicle. An example vehicle includes an electric motor for propelling the vehicle. The vehicle also includes an external light source disposed on the outside of the vehicle. The vehicle further includes a controller to monitor a performance parameter of the electric motor and control the external light source to generate a lighting effect that corresponds with the performance parameter of the electric motor.
Vehicle with speaker for outputting virtual engine sound and controlling method thereof
A vehicle and a controlling method of the same include a speaker outputting virtual engine sound integrated with a head lamp. The vehicle includes the head lamp; a head lamp case in which the head lamp is provided; and a speaker for outputting a virtual engine sound, and provided inside the head lamp case, where an internal cross-sectional area of the head lamp case may increase in a direction toward a front of the vehicle based on a position where the speaker is provided.
VEHICLE REMINDING METHOD AND SYSTEM, AND RELATED DEVICE
A vehicle reminding method and system, and a related device are provided. The method includes: obtaining detection information, where the detection information includes related information that is of a target vehicle and that is collected by a sensor of an ego vehicle; performing collision analysis based on the detection information; and reminding the target vehicle of a collision risk.
Augmented audio output by an electric vehicle
Systems and methods to augment audio output in an electric vehicle (EV) include obtaining inputs from one or more sensors. The inputs include information about the EV and about one or more persons outside the EV. A current scenario is defined based on the inputs. Whether the current scenario matches a predefined scenario among a set of predefined scenarios is determined, and augmented audio output is produced according to the predefined scenario.
Out-of-vehicle notification device
An out-of-vehicle notification device includes a traveling state detecting unit configured to detect a traveling state of the host vehicle, a first output unit configured to output a sound to an outside of the host vehicle, and a notification control unit configured to cause the first output unit to output a traveling notification sound indicating that the host vehicle is traveling when the host vehicle is traveling and to output a vehicle stoppage notification sound indicating that the host vehicle is stopped when the host vehicle is stopped. The traveling notification sound is a continuous sound continuously output. The vehicle stoppage notification sound is an intermittent sound intermittently output or a repetitive sound of which an intensity is repeatedly changed.
Sound Generator for Electric Vehicles
An apparatus and methods are provided for a sound effect generation system for broadcasting engine sounds outside a vehicle. The sound effect generation system enables a driver to select and manipulate the sounds emitted outside the vehicle. The sound effect generation system includes a wireless sound generator module for simulating engine sounds, a speaker for broadcasting the engine sounds outside the vehicle, and an external GPS antenna for measuring a speed of the vehicle. When the vehicle is turned on and remains stationary, the sound generator module simulates an idling internal combustion engine. When the speed of the vehicle increases, revving of the internal combustion engine and transmission shifting are simulated. When the speed of the vehicle decreases, a decelerating internal combustion engine is simulated. The sound effect generation system includes settings that may be accessed by a wireless mobile device whereby the driver can manipulate the engine sounds.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AIDING A PERSON IN LOCATING VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT
A system comprising a client device and a quiet vehicle proximity alert device. The quiet vehicle proximity alert device is associated with a vehicle and configured to broadcast a set of data with respect to a status of the vehicle. The client device is configured to issue a first notification on receiving the set of data if one or more data from the set of data is found to match one or more pre-specified conditions. A second notification is issued by the quiet vehicle proximity alert device on receiving a request for the second notification transmitted by the client device. The second notification comprises an acoustic notification and a driver alert notification. The acoustic notification is dynamically adjusted in real-time by the quiet vehicle proximity alert device corresponding to the status of the vehicle and a status of the client device.
