DETACHABLE MIXED-SOURCE PORTABLE SPEAKERS
Methods and systems are provided for use of a portable speaker system both as part of a vehicular audio system and as a stand-alone audio system. A speaker may be attached to an internal speaker receptacle of a vehicle and coupling to an audio amplifier of the vehicle. Audio performances received by the speaker from the audio amplifier may then be played by the speaker. The speaker may also be decoupling from the audio amplifier of the vehicle and detached from the internal speaker receptacle of the vehicle. Audio performances received by the speaker from a wireless interface coupled to the speaker may then be played by the speaker.
Seatback speakers
Various implementations include seats and related loudspeakers. In particular cases, a seat includes: a seat headrest portion; a seat backrest portion; and a loudspeaker assembly. The loudspeaker assembly includes at least one driver for generating an acoustic output; and an acoustic exit fixed in the seat backrest portion and angled to provide the acoustic output to a location below a nominal ear position of an occupant of the seat, wherein a firing angle of the at least one driver provides the acoustic output to achieve a consistent frequency response across a range of positions deviating from the nominal ear position.
DEVICE FOR MOUNTING AUDIO SPEAKER IN VEHICLE AND MOUNTING CONSTRUCTION THEREOF
A device for mounting an audio speaker in a vehicle includes a clip and a pin. The clip includes an engaging plate, a first engager provided on a first side of the engaging plate, a first lock provided at an end of the first engager on an side opposite to the engaging plate, a second engager provided on a second side that is opposite to the first side of the engaging plate, and a second lock provided at an end of the second engager on a side opposite to the engaging plate. The pin includes a shaft and the first engager has a concave portion that receives the shaft of the pin.
Motor Vehicle with Sound System
Motor vehicle with sound system A motor vehicle (10) defining a longitudinal axis (X), a front side, and a median (P) plane including the longitudinal axis (X) and which is vertical, and comprising: a structure (14) comprising a bulkhead (34), at least one front seat (26A) for a driver, and a floor covering (18), the bulkhead and the floor covering partially delimiting a passenger compartment (35), and a sound system (12) including at least one speaker enclosure (42) rigidly attached to the structure, the speaker enclosure comprising at least one woofer (50A) and being located close to the median plane (P): either longitudinally between the bulkhead and a front edge of the front seat, or longitudinally astride a front zone (40A) of the passenger compartment intended to receive the driver and a rear zone (40B) of the passenger compartment intended to receive one or more rear passengers of the motor vehicle.
Vehicle with speaker for outputting virtual engine sound and controlling method thereof
A vehicle and a controlling method of the same include a speaker outputting virtual engine sound integrated with a head lamp. The vehicle includes the head lamp; a head lamp case in which the head lamp is provided; and a speaker for outputting a virtual engine sound, and provided inside the head lamp case, where an internal cross-sectional area of the head lamp case may increase in a direction toward a front of the vehicle based on a position where the speaker is provided.
Multiple position accessory mount
In at least some implementations, an accessory mount for a vehicle includes a first base, a support and a connector coupling the support to the first base. The first base has a first retainer with one or more retention features. The support has a second retainer that has one or more retention features that overlap one or more of the one or more retention features of the first retainer in different positions of the support relative to the first base. At least one of the first retainer and second retainer is movable relative to the other to decouple the first retainer and second retainer without removing the connector from the first base to enable movement of the support to multiple positions relative to the first base.
VEHICLE HAVING A PIVOTABLE ROOF
A vehicle includes: a frame including a roll cage, a motor connected to the frame, a driver seat connected to the frame, and a roof extending at least in part above the driver seat. The roof includes an upper surface and a lower surface. At least part of the roof is pivotably connected to the roll cage about a roof pivot axis so that the at least part of the roof is pivotable from a closed position to an open position. In the closed position, the at least part of the roof covers a roof opening defined by the roll cage, and in the open position, the at least part of the roof at least partly exposes the roof opening.
APPARATUS, DISPLAY APPARATUS AND VEHICLE
An apparatus may include a vibration member, a supporting portion at a rear surface of the vibration member, the supporting portion including a curved portion, and a vibration apparatus at the curved portion to face the rear surface of the vibration member. A display apparatus may include a display member, a supporting portion including a curved portion, a vibration apparatus at the curved portion to face a rear surface of the display member, and a cover member. A vehicle may include an interior material and a vibration generating apparatus.
EQUIPMENT COMPONENT FOR A VEHICLE
An equipment part with a base and at least one pivot device, which is pivotable about a pivot axis relative to the base, with a drive device with which the pivot device is pivotable between a first position and a second position. The pivot device includes a base part and an extension part, wherein the extension part is guided movably relative to the base part in a translatory manner between a primary position and a secondary position. Associated with the base is a first support surface that engages with a second support surface, which is associated with the extension part, and rolls on this during the pivoting movement between the first position and the second position, wherein the extension part moves between the primary and the secondary position.
EQUIPMENT COMPONENT FOR A VEHICLE
An equipment part for a vehicle, including a wing device having at least one wing. The wing is pivotably about a pivot axis between a first pivot position and a second pivot position. The wing has a base part and an extension part that is supported movably relative to the base part in a translatory manner between a base position and an extended position. An adjusting device has at least one motor drive and a transmission for executing the pivoting movement as well as the translatory movement of the wing. By way of the transmission, a conversion takes place of a rotary movement of the drive to a translatory movement of the extension part, wherein a torque about the axis of rotation is produced in the base part, with which torque the wing is pivotable between the first pivot position and the second pivot position.
