In-Vehicle Speech Interaction Method and Device
An in-vehicle speech interaction method and a device are provided. The method includes: obtaining user speech information; determining a user instruction based on the user speech information; determining, based on the user instruction, whether response content to the user instruction is privacy-related; and determining, based on whether the response content is privacy-related, whether to output the response content in a privacy protection mode, to protect privacy from being leaked.
Driver monitoring system using camera with adjustable mirror
A vehicular driver monitoring system includes a camera disposed within a vehicle and having a field of view interior of the vehicle, and an adjustable mirror disposed within the vehicle. The adjustable mirror includes a mirror reflector that reflects light incident thereat. The camera views the adjustable mirror and captures image data based on light reflected by the mirror reflector of the adjustable mirror toward the camera. With a driver of the vehicle sitting in a driver seat of the vehicle, light reflected off a portion of the driver is reflected by the mirror reflector of the adjustable mirror toward the camera. An electronic control unit (ECU), responsive to processing by an image processor of image data captured by the camera, adjusts the adjustable mirror to reflect the portion of the driver toward a region of the lens of the camera.

OCCUPANT-DEPENDENT SETTING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE, AND VEHICLE
An occupant-dependent setting system for a vehicle includes a setting processor, a server apparatus, and first and second authentication processors. The setting processor provides the vehicle with setting to make occupant-dependent setting available in the vehicle. The server apparatus includes a server memory that holds personalized setting data regarding an occupant to be on board the vehicle. The first authentication processor authenticates the occupant on board the vehicle. The second authentication processor authenticates a combination of the occupant on board the vehicle and the vehicle, on the condition that the occupant on board the vehicle is authenticated by the first authentication processor. On the condition that the combination of the occupant and the vehicle is authenticated by the second authentication processor, the setting processor acquires the personalized setting data from the server memory and provides the vehicle with the setting.
OCCUPANT-DEPENDENT SETTING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE, AND VEHICLE
An occupant-dependent setting system for a vehicle includes a setting processor, a server apparatus including a server memory, and first and second authentication processors. On the condition that the occupant is authenticated by the first authentication processor, the second authentication processor acquires, from the vehicle, data regarding the occupant and data regarding the vehicle, and authenticates a combination of the occupant and the vehicle. On the condition that the combination of the occupant and the vehicle is unauthenticatable by the data regarding the occupant and the data regarding the vehicle, the second authentication processor authenticates the combination of the occupant and the vehicle, by a combination of account data regarding the occupant and the vehicle. The account data is held by an occupant terminal of the occupant on board the vehicle to make access to the server apparatus.
Method for identifying a cause of blockage in a sequence of images, a computer program for performing said method, a computer-readable recording medium containing such computer program, a driving assistance system capable of executing said method
A method for identifying a cause of blockage in a sequence of images provided by a camera of a vehicle, the method comprising iteratively: S10) acquiring an image of the camera; successively acquired images forming a sequence of images; S20) detecting a blockage in last images of the sequence of images; S60) determining whether it is day-time or night-time based on time information; if it is determined that it is night-time: S82) determining whether toggling front light(s) of the vehicle on/off causes a change in images acquired by the camera; and S84) in this case, determining that for the current iteration, the cause of the blockage is presumably the road being dark. A computer program for performing said method, a computer-readable recording medium containing such computer program, a driving assistance system capable of executing said method.
VEHICLE EXERCISE SYSTEM
The present invention relates to systems, methods, and apparatus that facilitate exercise in vehicles. In particular, the present invention provides active exercise in passenger and navigation areas in vehicles by incorporating force sensors in the environment surrounding the passenger and/or navigator in the vehicle. The present invention applies the principles of isometric training and interacts with a remote or on-board computer platform to track, measure and provide instruction to the passage and/or navigator engaged in such isometric training.
BIOMETRIC PRE-IDENTIFICATION
A station device in a biometric pre-identification system uses identity to perform one or more actions. Identities are determined (such as via a backend) using biometric information. A biometric pre-identification device obtains biometric information and/or a digital representation thereof from a person approaching the station device. The biometric pre-identification device transmits such to the station device, facilitating the station to begin and/or perform various actions. The station device begins or performs the actions using the identity determined based on the biometric information before the person arrives at the station device.

PROJECTOR CONTROL APPARATUS, PROJECTOR CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Provided are an apparatus and a method for analyzing a state of a vehicle occupant and performing illumination and image output control by a projector in units of a screen sectioned area of a vehicle ceiling, in accordance with an analysis result. There is provided a data processing unit configured to execute state analysis of an occupant of a vehicle and execute output control of a projector in accordance with an occupant analysis result. The data processing unit performs projector control of outputting illumination light having luminance determined in accordance with the occupant analysis result, in units of a sectioned area of a screen of a vehicle ceiling on which projector output light is outputted. The data processing unit analyzes a state of an occupant on the basis of a camera-captured image, and outputs illumination light having luminance determined in accordance with an occupant state, in units of a screen sectioned area above each occupant.
