A vehicular vision system includes a rear-viewing camera disposed at a vehicle and viewing at least rearward of the vehicle. Each frame of image data captured by the imaging array of the rear-viewing camera includes a plurality of grids, with each grid of the plurality of grids having a respective set of photosensing elements associated with respective rows and columns of photosensing elements. A electro-optic rearview mirror assembly includes an electro-optic mirror reflective element that is controlled responsive to an ambient light condition and a glare light condition. The ambient light condition is determined by processing at least one first grid of the plurality of grids of the frames of image data captured by the rear-viewing camera. The glare light condition is determined by processing at least one second grid of the plurality of grids of the frames of image data captured by the rear-viewing camera.

REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY WITH ANTENNA

A rearview mirror assembly includes a main housing defining an exterior surface, an interior, and an open side, the exterior surface having a recess therein. The assembly also includes a control module coupled within the interior of the housing, a mirror coupled over the open end of the housing, and a communication module. The communication module includes an antenna electrically coupled with the control module and an antenna housing at least partially enclosing the antenna and coupled within the recess of the exterior surface of the main housing.

Sensor assembling structure for rotary mounting-type windshield mounted inner mirror for vehicle

A sensor assembling structure includes a sensor assembling void formed in a mounting base, a sensor assembling leaf spring, and mounting base-side leaf spring mounting portions formed at the mounting base. The mounting base is mounted to a windshield. The sensor assembling void receives a sensor. The sensor assembling leaf spring includes mounting base mounted portions. In a state in which the sensor is received in the sensor assembling void, the sensor assembling leaf spring is mounted to the mounting base-side leaf spring mounting portions via the mounting base mounted portions. The sensor assembling leaf spring maintains a state in which the sensor is received in the sensor assembling void.

CAMERA SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING ON A VEHICLE

Camera system (200) arranged for mounting on a vehicle's front side location (110), equipped to provide at least an image of the area in front of the vehicle (100), comprising a wing assembly (120) arranged for mounting on the vehicles front side location (110) and a forward looking camera (130) mounted in the wing assembly (120), the wing assembly (120) having a front portion (123f) shaped around and extending in front of a transparent camera portion (130t) that forms the front side (120f) of the forward looking camera (130), so that the transparent camera portion (130t) forms a smooth and continuous surface with the front portion (123f); wherein the front portion (123f) extends forward beyond the transparent camera portion surface (130T), so that a curved guidance surface is formed by the front portion (123f) that redirects impacting travel wind (F2) from the front portion (123f) to a downward direction along the transparent camera portion (130t) to keep it free from contamination.
