For example, the mounting tabs, kits and methods disclosed herein are well suited for the repair of high value components, including automotive components.
SYSTEM INCLUDING A RECEPTACLE IN A MOTOR VEHICLE
So as to releasably fasten, in an accident-proof manner, a receptacle, which is, for example, cup-shaped, in a depression of a center console of a motor vehicle, serving as a seat for the receptacle, the invention provides a coupling including two detent elements which face away from one another and are disposed opposite one another, and which are urged apart by a spring element, catch lugs of which, projecting outwardly, extend over an edge of a rectangular fastening opening in a bottom of the receptacle. By rotating the receptacle by 30° to 45°, opposing corners of the fastening opening find their way beneath the catch lugs so that the receptacle can be removed from the seat.
STEERING COLUMN
A steering column with a switch module at least partially surrounding the steering column. The switch module includes at least one actuating lever for activating at least one function. A mechanical interface for attaching at least one bracket for an object is provided in the area of the switch module. The interface is configured as a separate component mounted on the switch module.

For example, the mounting tabs, kits and methods disclosed herein are well suited for the repair of high value components, including automotive components.
Load and lock containers for carrying goods in vehicles and associated methods
Containers can be used on moving vehicles such as trucks (like pick-up trucks) that have elements on the outside of those containers that allow the containers to be affixed and/or secured to the moving vehicle. The containers can also be easily removed so that they no longer are affixed and/or secured to the moving vehicle. The inside of the container allows goods to be inserted inside the container so that the goods can be transported without the fear of the container failing over and/or the goods falling out of the container. The containers/totes contain protrusions and/or depressions that allow them to snap fit into correspondingly opposite depressions and/or protrusions on the surface of a vehicle or the surface of an optionally present intermediary layer. If an intermediary layer is present, the intermediary layer can be affixed to and or secured to a surface on a vehicle.
All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Compartment for Wallet, Cell Phone, Keys, Money Clip
A protective compartment for off-road vehicles is presented. The protective compartment for off-road vehicles secures to any off-road vehicle, providing a means to carry loose articles during an off-road drive that would normally be lost or damaged during transit. The protective compartment for off-road vehicles contains a case body, a case lid, and at least one fastening element. The case body contains a mount receiver and a storage cavity. The case lid contains at least one fastening slot. The case lid is connected adjacent to the case body through the at least one fastening element.
Mounting assembly for an exterior attachment device, rearview device and motor vehicle
A mounting assembly for an attachment device of a vehicle includes receiving or holding means on a rearview device of the vehicle, the receiving or holding means being adapted so that the attachment device can be fixed by means of at least one fixing means of the attachment device in operative connection with at least one complementary fixing means of the receiving or holding means, where at least one of the at least one fixing means of the attachment device or the receiving or holding means is configured to be in operative connection, where after fixation, the attachment device cannot be released from the fixing means without destruction, and at least one of the at least one fixing means of the attachment device or the complementary fixing means of the receiving or holding means includes at least one of a clip, an undercut and a latch.
Accessory attachment system
An accessory attachment system comprising a fastening key having an accessory retention cap, a stem extending from the retention cap, and at least one bit extending laterally from a distal end of the stem. The stem configured to be inserted through a key aperture in an accessory to be attached to the vehicle. The system includes a locking bracket connectable to the vehicle adjacent an accessory portal provided in the vehicle. The locking bracket comprises a base plate, a keyhole disposed through the base plate, and at least one inclined securing structure disposed along a circumference of the keyhole. Each securing structure comprises a ramp and a detent. The keyhole is configured to receive the stem distal end and bit(s) therethrough, and each securing structure is configured to engage the bit(s) and interlock the fastening key with the locking bracket upon rotation of the key.
