A mounting system (10) for detachably mounting electronic devices in a motor vehicle, comprising a connecting section (12) for connection to the motor vehicle, with a first holder (30) connected to the connecting section, which first holder (30) has a first holding space (48) and first holding sections (42, 46) for holding a first electronic device (50), with a second holder (52) with a second holding space (54) for holding a second electronic device (56), wherein the second holder can be arranged or is arranged in the first holding space and can be detachably fixed or is detachably fixed to the first holding sections.

An interface device for connecting a portable electronic device to a vehicle includes a holding module for receiving a portable electronic device with a display, and an adaptor module for connecting the portable electronic device to a vehicle. The holding module has a slot into which the portable electronic device is inserted and a front opening exposing the display of the portable electronic device, and an edge portion of the display is covered by a front part of the holding module.

In some embodiments, an apparatus may install easily like a simple cell phone holder while facilitating controlling cameras mounted and/or fixed to a vehicle using a cell phone. Adjustable portable device holder systems and methods are herein disclosed. According to one embodiment, an adjustable portable device holder includes an adjustable clamping element and a rotatable mounting element attached to the adjustable clamping element for removably securing a portable device to the adjustable portable device holder.

An assembly for supporting a device from a structural location exhibiting an upper horizontal edge. A main support body has front and rear faces, a bottom support ledge projecting from the front face and being adapted to receive a bottom extending edge of the device. A top support ledge extends from the rear face and is adapted to engage the upper horizontal edge of the structural location. A variant of the assembly incorporates a height adjustable component secured to the main support body and exhibiting a further ledge support location adapted to engage a top extending edge of the device. An angularly adjustable arm supporting component is secured to a lower rear face location of the main support body and is adjustable to establish a desired angle or tilt of the main support body and supported device.

In a vehicle mobile device mounting assembly and its auxiliary structure, the auxiliary structure is used with a vehicle mounting kit and mounted together on a rod-like portion of a bicycle. The vehicle mounting kit includes a fastening band. The auxiliary structure includes a fastening body, a joining portion integrally formed with the fastening body. The fastening body includes multiple fastening portions on its outer edges and a fastening space in the fastening body. Multiple fastening openings communicating with the fastening space are formed between the fastening portions. The auxiliary structure is mounted on the rod-like portion of the bicycle by inserting the fastening band of the vehicle mounting kit through a joining portion.
