The roof assembly may include a mid-pillar segment having an attachment end. The receiving region may be defined by a cutout having a base portion spaced from an adjacent vehicle body surface. The attachment end may be sized for disposal within the cutout for one or more fasteners to removably secure the mid-pillar segment to the mid-pillar. The receiving region and the attachment end may be arranged with one another such that the roof assembly is removably attachable adjacent a belt line of the vehicle body.
A POST FOR A CAB OF A VEHICLE
A post for a cab of a vehicle includes an elongated tubular element presenting a tubular element cavity extending longitudinally within the post and an elongated reinforcement element extending in the longitudinal direction of the tubular element along a part of the tubular element, and including a base end and a free end. A tapered portion of the reinforcement element includes the free end thereof being located in the tubular element cavity and tapered in the direction from the base end towards the free end. A base portion of the reinforcement element is at least partly located in the tubular element cavity and extends from the tapered portion to the base end. The reinforcement element presents a smooth transition between the tapered portion and the base portion.
Vehicle Roof Joint Assembly
A vehicle assembly including a vehicle body and a roof assembly is provided. The vehicle body may include a mid-pillar having a receiving region.
Multi-use vehicle door and net coupling system for one motion operation
The disclosure provides a door system for a vehicle having a roll cage. For example, the vehicle may be a multi-use vehicle. The door system may include a door hinged to a vehicle body and releasably engaged to the vehicle body in a closed position by a latch. The door system may include a net extending from the door to the roll cage. The net may be releasably attached to the roll cage by a clip actuatable by a cable connected to the latch.
Method for replacing a roll cage of an off-road vehicle
A method for replacing a roll cage of an off-road vehicle is provided. The off-road vehicle has a frame and the roll cage affixed to the frame. The frame has a plurality of roll cage supports. The roll cage has a plurality of legs, and each of the legs is welded to a respective one of the roll cage supports of the frame. The method includes cutting off the roll cage from the frame, providing a replacement roll cage for removably affixing to the frame, positioning the replacement roll cage onto the frame such that legs of the replacement roll cage are supported on the roll cage supports, aligning an opening of a mounting flange of each leg of the replacement roll cage with a corresponding opening of each roll cage support, and fastening the legs of the replacement roll cage to the roll cage supports.
Personal electric vehicle
A method of assembling a frame for a personal electric vehicle includes assembling a safety cage defining an occupant interior by attaching together a plurality of tubular members including at least two left pillars and two right pillars each having lower end portions positioned along respective sides of the occupant interior. The method further includes positioning a floorpan adjacent a bottom of the occupant interior, the floorpan having a floorpan left side adjacent the lower end portions of the left pillars and a floorpan right side adjacent the lower end portions of the right pillars. Thereafter, the method includes fixing a left inboard surface of each left pillar to the floorpan left side and fixing a right inboard surface of each right pillar to the floorpan right side for securing the safety cage to the floorpan.
ROLL CAGE OF AN OFF-ROAD VEHICLE
PIPE CONNECTION ARRANGEMENT AND PIPE CONNECTION OF TWO PIPES
A tube connection arrangement includes a tube having a cutout configured such that a part-tube portion adjoins a full-tube portion of the tube. An insert has a first portion for being received in the full-tube portion of the tube and has an external circumference adapted to the internal circumference of the full-tube portion, and a second portion for being received in the part-tube portion of the tube. The second portion has a curved contour adapted to the internal contour of the part-tube portion, an opposite abutment side. In the inserted state of the insert, the abutment side of the second portion is directed towards the cutout and through-openings in the part-tube portion and in the second portion of the insert are aligned in order to enable a fastening element to be fed through.
VEHICLE
A utility vehicle capable of off-road travelling includes a cabin, a floor panel including a floor tunnel, an air blower and a duct. The duct includes a first end part that is connected to the air blower, a second end part including an opening part open to a rear half portion of the cabin, and an extending part that extends between the first and second end parts. The extending part includes a first part extending in the front-rear direction. The whole duct is arranged above the floor tunnel.
