Multifactor authentication for vehicle operation
A system for limiting vehicle operation is disclosed. The system may comprise one or more memory units for storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may comprise determining that a key device is inside the vehicle; performing an authentication; setting the vehicle in a first vehicle mode; starting the vehicle based on the determination and the first authentication; and limiting vehicle operation based on the first vehicle mode.
METHOD FOR MONITORING INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT OF VEHICLE, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for monitoring internal environment of a vehicle implemented in an electronic device includes detecting environment data of internal of the vehicle, and detecting whether an engine of the vehicle is running; when the engine of the vehicle is running and the environment data does not meet a preset threshold, issuing a first alarm; when the engine of the vehicle is not running, obtaining location information of the vehicle, activating a camera device to capture images or shoot a video of internal of the vehicle, and determining whether at least one living creature is inside the vehicle; when the at least one living creature is inside the vehicle, transmitting the location information, and the images or the video and the environment data to a terminal device; and displaying the location information, the images or the video and the environment data, and issuing a second alarm.
INTEGRATED ALARM SYSTEMS FOR TRUCK BED COVERS
A vehicle includes a passenger cabin and a truck bed located rearward of the passenger cabin. The vehicle includes a truck bed cover that is sized to cover the truck bed and is movably attached to one or more walls of the truck bed to allow the truck bed cover to be moved between open and closed positions. The truck bed cover includes a latching device that engages a striker in the closed position. A sensing device is mounted in the truck bed that is configured to provide an indication of an open condition of the truck bed cover to a vehicle locking and security ECU. The locking and security ECU configured to provide an indication using an OEM security system of the vehicle when the open condition is detected.
FACE RECONGITION BASED VEHICLE ACCESS CONTROL
A method for face recognition based vehicle access control. The method may include acquiring one or more images of at least a face of a person that is positioned outside the vehicle and accesses a door of the vehicle in order to determine, based on the one or more images, whether the person is allowed to enter the vehicle. The determination may include matching the face of the person to a database of faces of allowed persons. The database is generated during a machine learning process that involves monitoring persons within the vehicle; and then granting access to the vehicle when determining that the person is allowed to enter the vehicle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING SECURITY TO A VEHICLE
The systems and methods disclosed herein are configured to provide security to a vehicle. A system includes a point measurement device inside a space of a vehicle. The system identifies a threat if points that differ from a calibrated set of points are localized in an area of the space.
Systems and Methods to Repossess a Vehicle
The disclosure generally pertains to systems and methods to repossess a vehicle. In an example method, a first computer sends to a second computer, a message pertaining to a notice of delinquency of a vehicle-related payment. The message includes a request to an individual, such as a purchaser or a lessee of the vehicle, to acknowledge receipt of the message. The first computer may be associated with a financing agency (a bank or a lender) and the second computer may be a vehicle computer of the vehicle or a smartphone owned by the individual. When an acknowledgement is not received within a reasonable period of time, the first computer may disable a functionality of a component of the vehicle or may place the vehicle in a lockout condition. The lockout condition may be lifted momentarily in case of an emergency to allow the vehicle to travel to a medical facility.
Vehicle cover and integrated security system
A system includes a vehicle cover, a mechanical tensioning device, a memory device, storing instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute instructions to perform the steps of a method to secure a vehicle. The mechanical tensioning device may include attachment means to attach the device to a wheel of the vehicle and means to attach a security cable of the vehicle cover integrated into a bottom edge of the vehicle cover to the mechanical tensioning device. The mechanical tensioning device may include a rotational reel connected to either a tensioning motor or a tensioning crank and optionally including either a mechanical bi-stable device or one or more sensors configured to monitor the tension of the security cable when engaged to the mechanical tensioning device. The processor may monitor for a change in tension and execute one or more security measures in response.
Vehicle Monitoring System
The disclosed vehicle Camera System captures live video and audio to ensure driver protection. Vehicle Camera System introduces a novel, high-quality, vehicle camera system to be mounted on multiple parts of the vehicle, including on the dashboard, side-view mirrors, rear-view mirror, and rear of the vehicle. These cameras are activated as soon as the user pushes the wireless GPS tracking operator button down. The button is located on the inside of the steering wheel and enables the entire system with no abrupt movement. The Vehicle Camera System ensures a fully operational, vehicle camera recording system, and, therefore, guarantees that no victim is wrongfully convicted and is capable of providing exact evidence of the events that occur.
Network system, vehicle and control method thereof
A vehicle and a network system are provided to operate the air conditioning apparatus of the vehicle when a passenger within the vehicle is left unattended. The vehicle transmits a signal via a vehicle network to rescue the rear passenger, thereby ensuring passenger safety. The vehicle includes an output device and a communicator configured to communicate with a user terminal, an air conditioner, a sensor. The sensor obtains a movement of the passenger and a controller outputs an identification image through the output device when a movement signal of the passenger exceeds a reference signal after the vehicle doors are closed.
Systems and methods for detecting an impact event in a parked vehicle
Embodiments of the invention include a vehicle telematics system including a telematics device, wherein the telematics device detects, using a processor of a telematics device, a vehicle ignition off event and reconfigures at least one parameter of an accelerometer for a low power mode of operation while in the vehicle ignition off state, and places the telematics device in a sleep mode of operation, wherein an accelerometer generates an interrupt to wake the processor of the telematics device from the sleep mode of operation upon detecting an acceleration event that exceeds a threshold, and the processor of the telematics device analyzes the accelerometer data stored in a FIFO buffer of the accelerometer.
