The present invention relates to a system that is mounted on a mounting structure or chassis intended to protect the vehicles and their occupants. The system uses a main computer, high-precision radars, external airbag impellers, airbags that protect the vehicle and to some extent help its buoyancy, fluid sensors to detect the water limit that the vehicle can reach, and if these sensors are activated send a signal to the main computer that is responsible for activating air bag impellers, an inclinometer to detect the limit of inclination established in the vehicle and if the inclinometer detects an inclination that exceeds the limit established, this sends a signal to the main computer that is responsible for activating all the air bag impeller devices; and a monitor with signal transmitters to visualize in the state in which the system is located.

Composite structure for an airbag cover, and sewn product of the composite structure
The present invention provides a composite structure, a method for its manufacture, a sewn product containing the composite structure, and a method for manufacturing the sewn product. The composite structure comprises a foam layer, a textile layer, a cover layer and a lacquer layer in this order, wherein the foam layer has a density of at most 300 kg/m.sup.3 and contains a polyolefin, the cover layer is thermoplastic and comprises at least two compact sublayers of different composition, each sublayer containing at least one thermoplastic selected from polyolefin and polyvinyl chloride.
Composite structure for an airbag cover, and sewn product of the composite structure
The present invention provides a composite structure, a method for its manufacture, a sewn product containing the composite structure, and a method for manufacturing the sewn product. The composite structure comprises a foam layer, a textile layer, a cover layer and a lacquer layer in this order, wherein the foam layer has a density of at most 300 kg/m.sup.3 and contains a polyolefin, the cover layer is thermoplastic and comprises at least two compact sublayers of different composition, each sublayer containing at least one thermoplastic selected from polyolefin and polyvinyl chloride.
VEHICLE SEAT
To provide a vehicle seat which makes the load from the airbag more likely to be concentrated on a weakened part of a skin member, a vehicle seat provided with a seat cushion constituting a seating surface and a seat back constituting a backrest including a seat back frame forming a structural member of the seat back; an airbag module supported on a side portion of the seat back frame on a vehicle outer side; a pad member covering the airbag module; and a skin member covering a surface of the pad member, wherein the skin member is provided with a weakened part vertically extending on an edge part of the seat back on a vehicle outer side and a first low-elasticity reinforcement part extending from a vicinity of the weakened part in a direction intersecting with the weakened part.

COMPOSITE MATERIAL FOR AN AIRBAG COVER
A composite material provided in the form of a sheet material includes at least one textile layer as a cover for an airbag. The cover is arranged to form at least one flap with a hinge which includes a hinge region. One side or both sides of the at least one textile layer includes a plastics coating. A melting point of the plastics coating is lower than a melting point of the at least one textile layer. The hinge region is arranged to form at least one single or double fold along the hinge so that the sheet material contacts itself once or twice. In a region of the at least one single or double fold, areas of the plastics coating are arranged to contact each other and, via a prior introduction of heat or a subsequent introduction of heat, are melted onto each other.
COMPOSITE MATERIAL FOR AN AIRBAG COVER
A composite material provided in the form of a sheet material includes at least one textile layer as a cover for an airbag. The cover is arranged to form at least one flap with a hinge which includes a hinge region. One side or both sides of the at least one textile layer includes a plastics coating. A melting point of the plastics coating is lower than a melting point of the at least one textile layer. The hinge region is arranged to form at least one single or double fold along the hinge so that the sheet material contacts itself once or twice. In a region of the at least one single or double fold, areas of the plastics coating are arranged to contact each other and, via a prior introduction of heat or a subsequent introduction of heat, are melted onto each other.
SIDE AIR BAG DEVICE
A side air bag device is described which is disposed in a space between a vehicle body and a back seat and for which rigidity of attachment to a vehicle body member is improved. The side air bag device provided between a vehicle body and a back seat includes: a base member including a base storage configured to store an air bag and an inflator and a base attachment portion attached to the vehicle body; and a retainer member configured to hold the base storage from a vehicle back side. The retainer member extends from a portion holding the base storage while being bent along the shape of the vehicle body. The retainer member is attached to the vehicle body together with the base attachment portion while being overlapped with the base attachment portion.
SIDE AIR BAG DEVICE
A side air bag device is described which is disposed in a space between a vehicle body and a back seat and for which rigidity of attachment to a vehicle body member is improved. The side air bag device provided between a vehicle body and a back seat includes: a base member including a base storage configured to store an air bag and an inflator and a base attachment portion attached to the vehicle body; and a retainer member configured to hold the base storage from a vehicle back side. The retainer member extends from a portion holding the base storage while being bent along the shape of the vehicle body. The retainer member is attached to the vehicle body together with the base attachment portion while being overlapped with the base attachment portion.
