Detecting out-of-model scenarios for an autonomous vehicle
Detecting out-of-model scenarios for an autonomous vehicle including: determining, based on first sensor data from one or more sensors, an environmental state relative to the autonomous vehicle, wherein operational commands for the autonomous vehicle are based on a selected machine learning model, wherein the selected machine learning model comprises a first machine learning model; comparing the environmental state to a predicted environmental state relative to the autonomous vehicle; and determining, based on a differential between the environmental state and the predicted environmental state, whether to select a second machine learning model as the selected machine learning model.
VISION SYSTEM
A vision system for a motor vehicle and a method for providing information to a driver of a motor vehicle, where the system includes at least one video camera, including a lens, adapted and configured to be mounted on a side of the vehicle with the lens facing forward, the lens having an angle of view that provides a field of view for allowing capture, simultaneously, of images of a view alongside the vehicle and of at least part of the side of the vehicle from the rear towards the front of the vehicle, and a processor coupled to the at least one video camera, the processor adapted and configured to process the captured images and provide processed images for display on a monitor and/or vehicle orientation information to a computerized vehicle operation system.
DUPLICATED WIRELESS TRANSCEIVERS ASSOCIATED WITH A VEHICLE TO RECEIVE AND SEND SENSITIVE INFORMATION
A vehicle is provided that comprises two or more radio frequency (RF) antennas and two or more RF transceivers to communicate wirelessly sensitive information associated with a user of the vehicle (the two or more RF antennas being at different physical locations on an exterior of the vehicle). The vehicle determines which one of the two or more RF antennas is receiving a strongest signal from a common signal source, selects a first RF transceiver associated with the RF antenna with the strongest signal to send the sensitive information associated with the user to the common signal source, and sends the sensitive information associated with the user to the first RF transceiver for transmission to the common signal source.
Yaw stability control system for a motor vehicle
A yaw stability control system is provided for a motor vehicle. The system includes one or more cameras, a plurality of wheel speed sensors, a yaw angle sensor, and a steering angle sensor. The system further includes an electric motor connected to a reaction wheel. The system further includes a processor and a memory including instructions such that the processor is programmed to: determine a desired yaw angle of the motor vehicle based on a video signal, speed signals, a yaw signal, and a steering signal. The processor is further programmed to generate an actuation signal associated with the desired yaw angle. The electric motor angularly rotates the reaction wheel at a predetermined angular rate in a predetermined rotational direction to produce a counter-acting torque that rotates the motor vehicle to the desired yaw angle, in response to the electric motor receiving the actuation signal from the processor.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING IMAGE BY USING CAMERA MONITORING SYSTEM (CMS) SIDE DISPLAY MOUNTED IN VEHICLE, AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
A method, performed by an electronic device installed in a vehicle, of switching a view of an image displayed on a camera monitoring system (CMS) side display, and an electronic device are provided. The disclosure includes an electronic device for displaying, on a camera monitoring system (CMS) side display, a first image representing a surrounding environment image, detecting a lane change signal of the vehicle, and, in response to the detected lane change signal, switching the first image displayed on the CMS side display to a second image representing a top view image showing locations of the vehicle and a surrounding vehicle in a virtual image as looking down from above the vehicle, and displaying the second image, and displaying a lane change user interface (UI) indicating information about whether a lane change is possible on the second image, and an operation method thereof.
Displaying maneuvering instructions along a route
A method is provided for a navigation device to display maneuvering instructions along a route, involving: displaying a digital map in a perspective manner on a display unit of the navigation device; according to the distance of the navigation device from the location of the maneuver, i.e. the location where a maneuver is to be carried out as per the route: displaying first maneuvering instructions for the maneuver when the navigation device is farther from the location of the maneuver than a predefined distance; displaying second maneuvering instructions instead of the first maneuvering instructions for the maneuver when the navigation device is closer to the location of the maneuver than the predefined distance; the first and second maneuvering instructions being displayed in such a way as to cover up a portion of the displayed digital map; displaying a graphic link between the location of the maneuver on the digital map and the first or second maneuvering instructions.
System and method for displaying vehicle driving information
A system for displaying vehicle driving information may include: first and second image acquisition devices configured to capture an image of a first side on which a driver seat is located and an image of a second side which is the opposite side of the first side, respectively; first and second display devices configured to display the captured images of the first and second image acquisition devices, respectively; first and second BSD devices and configured to sense side-rear vehicle information; and a control device configured to recognize the location and vehicle distance of the side-rear vehicle by analyzing the side-rear vehicle information detected by the first and second BSD devices, determine whether to issue a BSD warning, and control BSD warning icons of the ego vehicle and the side-rear vehicle to be displayed as an OSD of the images displayed on the first and second display devices.
Driving Assistance Device
A driving assistance device that includes a processor and a memory and assists driving of a vehicle includes: an external environment information acquisition unit that acquires external environment information of the vehicle; an obstacle detection unit that detects an obstacle in front of the vehicle from the external environment information; a lane detection unit that detects a lane boundary line and a road edge from the external environment information; an alarm unit that issues an alarm or performs steering assist when deviation from the lane boundary line or the road edge is detected; and a state management unit that suppresses the alarm or the steering assist when the obstacle detection unit detects the obstacle.
Method and device for outputting lane information
A vehicle driving assistance device includes: a sensing unit configured to capture a front image of a running vehicle; a processor configured to detect a lane by using the front image and estimate the lane by detecting objects around a road, on which the vehicle is running, by using the sensing unit; and an output unit configured to output the estimated lane.
Movable carrier auxiliary system
A movable carrier auxiliary system includes at least one optical image capturing system disposed on a movable carrier, at least one warning module, and at least one displaying device. The optical image capturing system includes an image capturing module and an operation module, and has at least one lens group including at least two lenses having refractive power. The image capturing module captures and produces an environmental image surrounding the movable carrier. The operation module electrically connected to the image capturing module detects at least one lane marking in the environmental image to generate a detecting signal. The warning module electrically connected to the operation module receives the detecting signal to determine whether a moving direction of the movable carrier deviates from a lane, and generate a warning signal when the moving direction deviates from the lane. The displaying device electrically connected to the warning module displays the warning signal.
