20230047976 · 2023-02-16 · ·

An information processing apparatus is mounted in a delivery automatic driving vehicle with a monitoring device for remote monitoring. The information processing apparatus includes a controller that suppresses a monitoring function of the monitoring device when determining that a delivery person does not exist inside the automatic driving vehicle in a stopped state of the automatic driving vehicle.

POSITION DETERMINATION SYSTEM

Provided in a vehicle are: an external communications unit provided outside the compartment of the vehicle; and an internal communications unit provided inside the vehicle compartment. A position determination system includes a data acquisition unit that obtains reception signal strength data for radio waves that have been communicated and measured, between the external communications unit and a terminal and between the internal communications unit and the terminal. The position determination system also includes a position determination unit that determines whether the terminal is positioned outside or inside the vehicle, from the results of comparison between the size of data obtained from communication between the external communications unit and the terminal and between the internal communications unit and the terminal. In addition, the external communications unit is disposed inside a body component located around a rear wheel of the vehicle.

Vehicle operation detection device

A vehicle operation detection device includes sensors laid out in a vehicle along an axis in an opening-closing direction of a door of the vehicle. When the user moves a part of a body toward the sensors and a motion of moving the part of the body along the axis is detected, the sensors detect an opening-closing operation for the door. The vehicle operation detection device further includes light-emitting members laid out in the vehicle along the axis in the opening-closing direction and an operation direction indicator configured to drive the light-emitting members in sequence in a first direction in a fully-closed state of the door and drives the light-emitting members in sequence in a second direction in a fully-open state of the door.

TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE, ELECTRONIC VEHICLE RADIO KEY AND SYSTEM FOR PASSIVE ACCESS TO A TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE AND METHODS THEREFOR
20230219525 · 2023-07-13 ·

A transportation vehicle having a BLUETOOTH® Low Energy (BLE) system to send and receive BLE advertising signals, BLE connection request signals and BLE data signals via at least one antenna, a central locking system to lock or unlock at least one vehicle door of the transportation vehicle, and a control unit to activate the BLE system and to activate the central locking system based on the BLE data signals. Also disclosed is an electronic vehicle radio key and a system for passive access to a transportation vehicle including a transportation vehicle, an electronic vehicle radio key and a smartphone. The system allows a user passive access to the transportation vehicle, both with the aid of the electronic vehicle radio key and with the aid of the smartphone.

Systematic integration via an intrusion detection device

A vehicle theft-prevention apparatus can include at least one computing device couple to a plurality of sensors and a wireless transceiver. The plurality of sensors can be configured to sense measurements proximate to a vehicle. The at least one computing device can be configured to read a plurality of first measurements of a first sensor of the plurality of sensors. Based on the plurality of first measurements from the first sensor, the at least one computing device can determine that a key fob moved outside of a range of the first sensor. In response to the key fob moving outside of the range of the first sensor, the at least one computing device can transition to an armed state. The at least one computing device can read a plurality of second measurements from a subset of the plurality of sensors. Based on the plurality of second measurements, the at least one computing device can determine that a person has entered the vehicle.
