VEHICLE SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM AND EARLY VEHICLE WARNING OF POTENTIAL THREAT

An example operation includes providing an alert related to an event based on a difference related to a speed and an angle of an element exiting in a first zone around a transport and entering a second zone within the first zone, if the difference is above a threshold.

PROJECTION ON A VEHICLE WINDOW

A system includes a camera aimed externally to a vehicle, a window of the vehicle, a projector positioned to project on the window, and a computer communicatively coupled to the camera and the projector. The computer is programmed to, upon receiving data from the camera indicating a first person outside the vehicle, instruct the projector to project an image on the window depicting a second person inside the vehicle.

Provided is a program update management device that includes: an acquiring part that acquires a scene signal indicating a scene in which a vehicle is used; a determining part that determines a level indicating how strongly the vehicle is restricted when respective functions of a plurality of ECUs are impaired, the plurality of ECUs each having the same function in the scene indicated by the scene signal; and a selecting part that selects, from among the plurality of ECUs, an ECU for which a program update is performed, based on the level.

Transport trolley for consignments, and method for operating the transport trolley

A transport trolley for consignments having wheels which define a contact plane for moving the trolley, having a load compartment for receiving consignments during transport, and having a shelf for carrying consignments. The shelf can be adjusted from a lower non-use position arranged in the load compartment into an upper, moderate use position arranged outside the load compartment, and back. The shelf can be adjusted from a lower non-use position arranged in the load compartment into an upper, elevated use position arranged outside the load compartment, and back. The moderate use position and the elevated use position are arranged in a range between 1.0 m and 1.7 m above the contact plane. The elevated use position is arranged above the moderate use position, and a drive is provided for at least partially adjusting the height of the shelf above the contact plane.

Vehicle systems for verifying passenger protective equipment and methods for using the same

A vehicle system includes a detection device structurally configured to capture an image, a door lock, where the door lock is positionable between a locked position and an unlocked position, a controller communicatively coupled to the detection device and the door lock, the controller including a processor and a non-transitory computer readable and executable instruction set, which when executed, causes the processor to receive a captured image of a user from the detection device, determine whether the captured image of includes protective equipment worn by the user, and direct the door lock to move into the unlocked position in response to determining that the protective equipment in the captured image meets a configurable protective equipment baseline.

Systems and methods for performing commands in a vehicle using speech and image recognition

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for implementation of a vehicle command operation system that may use multi-modal technology to authenticate an occupant of the vehicle to authorize a command and receive natural language commands for vehicular operations. The system may utilize sensors to receive data indicative of a voice command from an occupant of the vehicle. The system may receive second sensor data to aid in the determination of the corresponding vehicular operation in response to the received command. The system may retrieve authentication data for the occupants of the vehicle. The system authenticates the occupant to authorize a vehicular operation command using a neural network based on at least one of the first sensor data, the second sensor data, and the authentication data. Responsive to the authentication, the system may authorize the operation to be performed in the vehicle based on the vehicular operation command.
