A vehicle includes: a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor being configured to: in a case in which it has been determined that washing of the vehicle is to be carried out, transition a state of the vehicle from a current mode to a vehicle washing mode that stops a power source of the vehicle, stops operation of a first equipment that is provided at the vehicle and that displaces a movable portion of the vehicle, and permits operation of a second equipment that is provided at the vehicle and that is related to comfort within a vehicle cabin of the vehicle.

A hatchback door includes a load-bearing inner panel made of composite plastic material, a plastic top outer panel glued on a top portion of the inner panel, and a plastic bottom outer panel glued on a bottom portion of the inner panel. A window wiping assembly for removing moisture and debris from a side window of a vehicle includes a positioning element that is mountable to an exterior surface of a vehicle door having a window opening positioned therein. The positioning element extends substantially between opposed endpoints of a lower edge of the window opening. A wiper blade is engaged to and extends from an inner face of the positioning element so that an outer edge of the wiper blade contacts an exterior face of a window that is positioned in the window opening. The wiper blade extends substantially between opposed ends of the positioning element. The wiper blade removes moisture and debris from the exterior face of the window as the window is raised and lowered within the window opening.

A mirror cleaning system, an improved mirror for a vehicle having the system installed thereto, and a method of cleaning the improved mirror using the system. The system includes a housing attachable to a vehicle side mirror, a heating element operably connected to a power source, a wiper, and a spray nozzle fluidly connected to a cleaning fluid source. The system is designed to de-ice and de-frost the improved mirror, spray cleaning fluid thereon, and wipe debris and fluids to improve driver visibility.

A mirror cleaning system, an improved mirror for a vehicle having the system installed thereto, and a method of cleaning the improved mirror using the system. The system includes a housing attachable to a vehicle side mirror, a heating element operably connected to a power source, a wiper, and a spray nozzle fluidly connected to a cleaning fluid source. A window wiping assembly for removing moisture and debris from a side window of a vehicle includes a positioning element that is mountable to an exterior surface of a vehicle door having a window opening positioned therein. The positioning element extends substantially between opposed endpoints of a lower edge of the window opening. A wiper blade is engaged to and extends from an inner face of the positioning element so that an outer edge of the wiper blade contacts an exterior face of a window that is positioned in the window opening. The wiper blade extends substantially between opposed ends of the positioning element. The wiper blade removes moisture and debris from the exterior face of the window as the window is raised and lowered within the window opening.

This disclosure relates to techniques for implementing a windshield wiper system with an actively movable platform. The windshield wiper system can include a windshield wiper arm mechanically coupled to a platform and an actuator mechanically coupled to the platform. The windshield wiper arm can be configured to move through a planar range of motion that is substantially parallel to a surface of a vehicle when the platform is positioned at a first spatial location and the movable windshield wiper arm can be configured constrained from moving through the planar range when the platform is positioned at a second spatial location.
